(WARNING: speculation based on my limited knowledge of major entertainment corporations specialising in games and anime)
Like many other major corporations handling several franchises (i.e. Funimation, Nintendo), Capcom probably has brand managers in charge of each of its franchises (you've got your Street Fighter guy, an Ace Attorney guy, a Resident Evil guy, the list goes on), that answered to Mr. Beaumont or someone just under him.
Things might be shaky for a week or two, but Capcom will get through this and we will continue to get the games we love. Delays may happen, but those happen for various reasons.
Thanks to you, Mr. Beaumont, for helping bring such great games to North America over the last few years, and all the best to your family (at home and at Capcom USA) now and in the future.
I will be buying Ace Attorney Investigations this weekend to show my support. Everyone who doesn't have it already, please do the same.

I wonder how long it will take to appoint his replacement? Makes you wonder how bad the delays will be for incoming games.
