Welcome to the Wonder Bar! Where Magic and GS5 talk go hand in hand. :minuki:

This thread is for official news relating to GS5. As of right now...there isn't any! Therefore, this thread is locked. However, feel free to speculate about what kinds of cases and characters you would like to see in GS5 on other threads here on the new GS5 board (I'm right about to move the speculation threads in here). As soon as some real information comes up, this thread will be open just like the GS4 thread was, for all the latest information.

Speculation is...... GO!

EDIT: To Clarify - the only official information out now is that there will be a GS5. Other than that...we know absolutely nothing!

<Edit 2:We've had several topics of people confusing that fangame for the real dealo, so I've shortened the main title for this topic and added that extra bit just to make sure it doesn't happen again. XD -Gerk>

This is an update to clarify the rumours going around that there won't be another Apollo Justice game. They're bullshit. But here is some proofs.

GoNintendo's report is mistranslated. The original article actually says that he considered the Ace Attorney series done with "Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney", but that the fans are making him reconsider. Textually, he says that "the fans' acclaim are making me stop and think about a series I considered finished." He then says that he really likes the Ghost Trick experience (hinting, maybe, that he wants to continue that series), but that the fans' reaction to Ace Attorney are making him think everything through. He actually asks the reporter "what should I do?", as in "should I continue with Ghost Trick or with Ace Attorney?".

Takumi is, unless we hear otherwise, not working on Ace Attorney anymore. This isn't entirely new news, since he didn't work on AAI either. If Ghost Trick does well enough he may make that his new series, or may do something else. But AA is already in the hands of another team.

After AAI came out Eshiro said he was interested in doing another Investigations game someday, and also that he expressed interest in working on GS5. Neither game has been confirmed but the important part is, no one has ever said that the Ace Attorney series is being dropped.

And most importantly, even if they did, it's not like CR would close up or disappear, don't worry.

So there we go. Please do not spread these sort of rumours around. You kinda hurt CR if you do, you see.
