This deserves to break my rule. This movie adaption is terrific. The acting of Peck and Duvall is great. Duvall stole the show, even if he had no lines. The musical score was BRILLIANT. Even though the movie had some scenes from the book taken out, I don't mind at all. I recommend this to all people who don't mind watching black and white movies. This IS the greatest film I have ever watched, and the best fiver I've ever spent.

It's based on the legend of The Bell Witch but really the only similarities are the names =/ only gave it 3/10 because I like Donald Sutherland, Sissy Spacek and Rachel Hurd-Wood. If I didn't know the story it was "based" on, I might have liked it more

I love, love, love this movie! A young Chinese American male living in Brooklyn, New York is convinced by his boyfriend to get into a convenience marriage with an illegal immigrant so she can get her green card and not be deported back to Taiwan. They plan everything so that the marriage will last only as long as it takes her become a legal immigrant, but things become complicated when the guy's parents from China plan to visit for a few weeks and hold a grand wedding ceremony. He has to hide his gayness from them until they decide to leave but it's not as simple as it sounds, especially when he, his boyfriend, the immigrant woman, and his parents all have to share the same apartment!
It's an excellent portrayal of gay, Asian, and immigrant cultures that blend together like a smoothie. It's written and acted so well and if you aren't touched by the denouement then you have no heart and should have your demon soul exorcised from your body. I give it two thumbs up!

This is an absolutely fantastic film with some excellent actors (Carey Mulligan especially, any woman in her twenties who can make you believe she's a sixteen year old girl has my vote)- I loved it <3

Well it really wasn't too bad actually. Towards the end i got a bit tired of the rinse and repeat method of 'he goes back in time, fixes one thing and Effs up another' format, but the story itself is cool. Wasn't all that scary, just a lot of blood. Aside from the blood, the only other thing was that it made you jump a lot.

The Hangover - 9/10
Okay, I was actually pretty skeptical about this movie... I'm usually not so much into comedy but this movie was well, just an awesome sick film. There were some things that I didn't like, for example the ending what I think could have been made a lot better and more exciting. That's the reason why I just rated it 9 instead of giving it all 10 points but hey, that's still great.

Meh, not really my kind of thing... I giggled at some scenes but that's about it. I liked the fact that the female protagonist loved penguins because they truly rule. However, if you are that kind of person who likes to waste their time by watching average comedy-movies, then that might be just your movie. All the other guys could do something else instead like ermm phoning your grandma or something, that's a way to waste time as well (in a positive way though).

Okay, this movie was boring and the female protagonist was just freakin' annoying at the end of the movie. The plot is not really that exciting or anything and that was actually the worst role Robin Williams has ever played, at least in my eyes. I think, I giggled like two times and that's about it. Aren't comedies supposed to be funny of any kind or did I miss something? Oh and another time-waster movie for those who care...
and I watched Hitman like 5 weeks ago but I can barely remember anything.....

8.5/10 - It's starts off slow, but if you pay attention it gets really awesome and it's surprisingly funny.
Pretty much every good guy is badass: Marion, Friar Tuck, even the ancient blind old guy could hold his own!
The cinematography was great and I appreciated how they tried to keep as authentic to the time period as possible.

Not quite bad if you judge it as a movie, and not in comparison to the games (which was their intended goal) unless you really, REALLY want to take yourself on the pain train down to the train station in train down because of how unlike the games the movie really is.
My most grating problem was how the Sands got reworked from "causing a zombie apocalypse" to "sealed Noah's Flood (WITH SAND!) in a can" but it was pretty good and sometimes rather funny (ostritch racing...in a desert...huh...) and does have the basic elements of the plot still there (the grand rewind being one of them).
One thing I would love to see is the Dahaka in a possible sequel. Giving him a movie HD remake would put a whole new layer of scary onto him (and he was pretty terrifying to begin with...)
