The forums, and the frontpage news are going down shortly due to the server that they're on is being transferred. We won't be loosing anything, but everything powered by the forums will be in accessible for a period of time.

I am sorry about the short notice. I was only informed myself just now that the forum host would be moving. We 'should' be back up and running by this time tomorrow, but don't quote me on anything. Could be earlier could be later.

The transfer is due to begin at roughly 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time.

Has the new server change meant that it wont save passwords? Everytime I close the window and go back again I'm unlogged. It's kind of a pain having to log on myself all the time.

Same here. And I was chatting with Catgrenade, and he said he was having the same problem as well.

If the powers that be here could do something about it, it'd be really great...having to log back in constantly is getting to be extremely annoying.

I've been trying to solve this issue. But I'm not having much success. It 'appears' to be an error regarding the cookies and domain, but my attempts to solve this are not successful. I'm sure everyone will be aware when it works again.

In the meantime, to prevent instant log-outs. Do not use your bookmarks to return to the forums. There's a variable in your URL "sid" that forces the forum to recognize you in between page loads. Without that, the forums instantly forget who you are.

In fact, this 'bug' is my attempt to remove Wooster and Croik from power, and take control over CR, bwahahahahahahahaha. Under L~A's tyranical regime, you'll have to log in at every single page!

And Wooster, do people really use bookmarks to return to the forum? I mean... what's the point? :eh?:
