If you want me to re-do the shell/make it whiter, I'll try to. Though I prefer Demure's shell atm because there's no pixellation issues regarding the edges of the shell on my version. Original request post
Hey folks, I just decided to make this thread because I accidently did something so awesome one night that I HAD to share with everyone, I did all of this on Paint.net, and I STILL can't figure out how I pulled this off.
Give a shoutout to my homedawg E.D. Revolution for taking the time to clean up my thread for me! :D
I'll take the following requests:
Huddini-style DS-sized Gfx Art
Avatar/Background Cleanup
Promotional Art (limited)
Box Art (VERY limited)
Userbars (clean text, no image preferred)
I'll update this thread whenever there's a need to. Note: 1st Image ALWAYS=1st Version.
Before you do some window shopping on my topic, there are general requesting/using art rules here:
If requests are open, please look through each section's requesting guidelines before you request.
If you want to use something out of my thread, please ask first. Either via PM or reply.
If I allow you to use my stuff, I must be CLEARLY CREDITED (preferably first line in your signature). That's the most important out of everything else; consider it the only rule that you MUST follow. Remember: All my works are posted in CR, DeviantArt, and The Attorneys. I post merely updates on new works for AAO. If you see my works anywhere else, then hit me up and I'll gladly take care of it :)
Huddini-style DS-sized Art
The dimensions for most of these is 256x192... It's meant to fit a DS-sized screen. Consider them as a mini-signature if you request to use one of these for your game ;)
If you want me to do a character, just post in this thread, but! There's a catch:
There has to be couple of artworks done on him/her (so the nice poses blend well with my "style", official artwork poses preferred).
The artwork needs to have a "seriousness" to it, nothing "happy." See my works for example of what I mean.
I can do other characters from other series not related to AA, but remember the 2nd point ;)
If you want any of these as an avatar/signature, check this guideline:
Ask me in this thread/PM me.
You'll need to resize them in a way they can "fit" properly to be your avatar. (I never thought to make them avatars anyways, that's why). If you take the "blackness" part out, you'll defeat the whole point of the image :(
If you'd prefer not "avatizing" yourself, I'll outsource the job to someone else, like E.D. Revolution (he's good at cropping and stuff like that)
I might have to reject on a few of the characters' images, ONLY because most of these are now going to be used in a project I'm working on. But once the project is completed, I'd be more than happy to let you use them :)
Ace Attorney Characters
In the first 3 spoilers, they lose a little awesomeness because there's text in there, but imagine without it. DARK GODOT
Spoiler:
Light Phoenix
Spoiler:
Blending Trucy
Spoiler:
Light-DarkApollo
Spoiler:
I've had a very hard time with Apollo, mainly because the MAIN image I wanted to use is kind of a bad rip that I got from google, so I've provided two "variations" of him, NOTE: I decided to consider these final versions, if you view this thread and decide to post, tell me which one looks the best:
In this first image, I wanted that background "light circle" you see to resemble a VERY light version of his bracelet, idk how I did on that though...:
The first version I came up with Mia, thought it was so good it needed its own category:
Spoiler:
Onto more Mia, there were so many good variations, I decided to post everything I had: Dark Mia
Spoiler:
Yeahhh....A bunch, out of all of this much images, which one do YOU think is the best Mia version?
Is it me, or does it look like an older maya on the right side of the face? o.o
Fall-Rise "Demon" Edgeworth
Spoiler:
This is probably the hardest guy I've done yet: ^^ I think the last two images might be the best versions? What do YOU think?
Light-Ice Franny
Spoiler:
Ok, Franziska was way too hard, no matter what I did. It wasn't going well, mainly due to the artwork I had. She will be the first official WIP I need to do better on: Nyaghhh, The "quality" is dumbing down, there's just no way I can beat Mia huh? :p
"Devil" Kristoph
Spoiler:
This is Kristoph Gavin, no good official artworks on him, so I used a fanart: Credits to ~LALAax from deviantart for making the custom art =D
A request by Master of Chaos [AAO] of a guy named Norman Jayden, from "HEAVY RAIN." This was interesting to work with because a) There were only 3d models of him (aka no handdrawn artwork), and b) I didn't know what color scheme to pick for the guy, since I never played the game xD.
CHAOS wants me to completely redo his request with another (albeit better) artwork...I'll get to it when I'm busy finishing everything else, since his kinda request is something I do in my spare time.
Beauty-Kikyo
Spoiler:
A request by MIMI MIKA [AAO] of a lady named Kikyo, from some anime show called "Inuyasha", to go with a peachish/orangish color, I decided these to be finalized: There IS a bit of orange in there, but from the looks of it, it's too dark to see xP
Dark-Blendy Benky
Spoiler:
A 2nd request by MIMI MIKA of a girl named Bernkastel, or as she calls her, Trollkastel, or as I call her, Bernky, from a show called "Unimeko no Naku Koro ni", to go with a Purple/Bluish color. A bit tedious to work with because Paint kept crashing, and I wanted to avoid copying the scheme I did with my Mia work:
Infection-Derek
Spoiler:
A request by BuddyFaith [CR/AAO], of a guy named Derek Stiles of some game called "Trauma Center", to go with a forest green/blood red color scheme... If only I'd have some brushes to get that kind of effect xD. So I decided to change it up in this request, currently WIP:
Devil Kazuya
Spoiler:
I decided to practice more on composing for 3d models, I thought a Tekken character would do very well. so I went with a guy named Kazuya Mishima:
Elegice Rukia
Spoiler:
Another request by TEHCHAOSMASTER, of a chica called Rukia, from the Bleach series, I learned that having lighter blue schemes is harder to work with in general, but I had fun with "scanlining" this, so many possibilities to make it look good:
Fire-Liquid Vivi
Spoiler:
A request by RYU USHIROMIYA [AAO] of a black mage called Vivi, from Final Fantasy 9, with a color scheme of blue, red, and black:
Brownie Izaya
Spoiler:
A request by fangirl-obsessed Mimi of Izaya: She's asked me to do another version with a special artwork courtesy of Singidiva, will get to it eventually :p
MotokoKusanagi
Spoiler:
New work I did because I was bored at school, didn't know which one was best...
Spicy-FieryMiguel
Spoiler:
This was requested by E.D. Revolution, of a guy named Miguel from the Tekken series, colour scheme being orange-reddish...He says they were good and he even has a cool avatar of it, check it out! E.D. REVOLUTION AWESOMELY EDITED/CROPPED MY WORK TO MAKE THIS INTO HIS OWN AVATAR:
Rainbow-Dash
Spoiler:
These pieces were actually done for a forum event on AAO. My recipient, TAP, had no idea what his secret-santa/invisible friend was UNTIL all the gifts were posted, which you may take a look at here. [Note: Look for the spoiler named Tap] He also seemed to enjoy his gifts very much from his reaction post here...Honestly I think I made the best gift, 'scuse the bragging ;P
On to the "gifts" itself, I made two different radical versions with a little variation to it, each "radical" versions I came up with took me one hour each (the first versions I took one hour after I found out who my recipient was, so I'm definitely the first person to have gotten done with the event. They also have different texts because I had no clue if my giftee would want his name, or his favorite character on there... Sadly due to conflicts of interest regarding my stance on crediting, Tap no longer uses these gifts as an avatar/signature anymore.
ElegSpice-Lili
Spoiler:
This was a request from holhol...I made a couple of versions, but the one holhol used as a avatar I had to COMPLETELY redo. I had to go with a colour scheme of Red and white...which was hard because white doesn't mix with black. I was also trying to put a font title...But thought it was best in the end not to have one. So I had to REALLY deviate from my usual art style and not have any blackness to this request this time around...
The last one is the one she wanted/has used as an avatar (using it on AAO at time of this edit).
Apple-Jack
Spoiler:
Requested by TK, although he didn't specify the colour scheme, so I had to guess...Unfortunately while working on this I lost my .pdn files from a bad crash, so I can only give out one version:
Avatar/Background Cleanup
Basically, if you want your avatar to be transparent and look REALLY good showing up on the forums/posts, post here, and I'd be more than happy to take off that white background, or resize it properly so it doesn't look crazily stretched! Credit is appreciated for this, but not really necessary.
Spoiler: AVATARS
-This was requested from TK a long while back to get the white background off on a BRIGHT forum:
-I did this for Mimi because I hated seeing the white background she had on this a long time ago:
-This was done for a guy named Jean of MArc of AAO, creator of the awesome Ominscient Game series! He's been using the same avatar I fixed up for him a LONG time now, mainly because he had the same "problem" I had with Mimi: His original Yoshi avatar had a white background and wasn't transparent!
Userbars
I can do userbars. Requests should contain the following:
I am still experimenting with box arts so I can only accept limited requests. Rules are the same as requesting DS-Sized graphics, but should be more specific (like what characters you want, general colour scheme, etc.)
Here's an alpha version for Turnabout Generations I made/composed, character edit/background done by me:
Spoiler: Turnabout Generations
Promotional Graphics
I am still learning how to do this so I'll accept limited requests. Rules are the same as requesting userbars, but you should be more specific.
Here is one for Holhol/E.D. Revolution's Turnabout Crackdown, also the AAO thread version as well just in case. Here is the promotional art version, ED requested me to do all the silhouettes of these characters and the background and such. It was a pain because I've never done something like this before. I was achieving a "noir-like" atmosphere for the art. I also supplied and edited the font (which ED kindly saved me time by making the base title for me). This is the final version meant to be on the first post:
Spoiler: Turnabout Crackdown
Here is the one meant to be used as a SIGNATURE: ED specifically asked me to make it 400x150 (i think that's the exact size here xP), but the font kept looking messy, so I had to manually resize the font on my own. Also, to make the signature stand out more, I just decided that sprucing up the font would work best.
Requests!
I'll list all the requests here in this format:
Code:
Name (Affiliation), Type of request, Some description
Ladies and gentlemen, here is my deviantArt page if you want to check out the final versions I picked to be displayed there, there's also an extra tidbit of art that's here that's not posted here on this thread: Click to Access my page Thanks for checking it out =]

Re: Huddini's Arts of Glory [*Izaya's Turn] [Userbars/Boxart Up]
Hello, Mr. Huddini, haven't seen you in a while! ...Uh, I made a request on your AAO thread, but actually I've decided that I'd rather do it myself. You probably haven't read it, but it's there, so you can disregard it, okay?
Oh, and that box-art looks great, by the way! I may request some from you sometime...

Re: Huddini's Arts of Glory [*Izaya's Turn] [Userbars/Boxart Up]
OHMAHGAWDURUSERBARSRAWEOMSE *shot* *Ahem* Anyhow, your userbars (as mentioned) are great. Your fangame caseart is even greater. What I don't like of your avatars is that the majority of them follow the same art style. Not that it's bad, but just look at other ways to make avatars.
All in all, these are all great pieces of art.

Oh wow Scent, great to see you alive and kickin' ^^.
Someone really loves the userbars I created for the AAO community (in support of a cancer patient) I see, do I have a feeling that you want to request one for something :?
Also appreciate the praise for the box art (even though theres some huge problems with it, specifically the background >.>)
But I got lost at the rest of the post...Avatars? You're talking about the 256x192 dimensioned-graphics that fits a DS-sized screen right? (Phoenix, Trucy, Apollo,Mia, Derek, etc. etc.) They really aren't meant to be avatars, but rather a "unique graphic" that can appear for someone's fan-case if they ask for it [Such as ED Revolution's ASA cases, which I recommend you play].
And when you mean same art style, are you referring to just simply how I do it? (Same size, and an absolute essential that there should be blackness somewhere...) Reason why I am asking is because I'm pretty sure I change it up (as best as I can) for each character (compare Derek Stiles to say, the Mia versions I did).
To be honest, I really wish I could do more in complexitieslike Yuuso's graphics, but I don't have the proper tools [I use Paint.net]/know-how to do so...xD
I'm willing to improve though! So thanks :)
Re: Huddini's Arts of Glory [TCrackdown Promo Art/Signature Up!]
This is the graphic that is used IN-GAME (mostly as an intermission)...Actually, I THINK this was the version that's used in-game, I'm not sure...Doesn't look like it, since I'm guessing from the size (256x192)
[lol i have to leech for now xP]
I'm now taking requests too! Just remember the guidelines for some of them (and I'll have to make more guidelines for the others like the boxart/promo art)
Re: Huddini's Arts of Glory [TCrack Inter-Gfx Up, Requests Open]
I agree, I'm probably going to re-write the OP in the art threads I posted at (AAO,CR, Attorneys, Deviantart maybe) for organizations sake (because I'm doing so much different types of art, it's actually a pain for me to scroll through to see what I want).
So yeah, I was thinking about earlier, and yet again, you telepathically took the words out of my mouth, xP
Re: Huddini's Arts of Glory [TCrack Inter-Gfx Up, Requests Open]
Preferably, the color scheme should be red, because that's what pops out the most on his outfit. However, since he's technically a ghost, a shade like this could work very well.
Any other things I need to add?
Re: Huddini's Arts of Glory (Thread Being Reorgznied!))
I'm getting my thread reorganized and cleaned up, thanks to ED REVOLUTION for taking the time to help me do this, thanks man! I credited you in the beginning x)
Re: Huddini's Arts of MAGGEEEECKKKK (Motoko's Turn)
Hey guys, sorry to double-post, but I have something NEW to add!
Found a cool artwork on this girl Motoko from Ghost in the Shell. I just did this for the fun of it because I was bored and had to time to kill at school. Everything was done by me except the character art, but I HEAVILY edited the character art (from the clothes to even changing the hair colors itself before mixing it in with the rest):

Re: Huddini's Arts of MAGGEEEECKKKK (Motoko's Turn)
Hey guys, got an update: I finished E.D Revolution's request of Miguel...He's using it as a (nicely cropped) avatar on AAO!

Although it was SUPER hard due to transparency issues with the stock art, it was VERY fun to imagine what kind of spicy effect I could bring to the composition, consider this request done.
NEW UPDATE: RAINBOW DASH FROM THE MY LITTLE PONY SERIES! I can finally post one of my secret works I've done in the past now that a certain event on AAO is finished... :D

On the forums, as of this time of posting, Tap is using both of the radical versions as an avatar AND signature on AAO, so I definitely killed the IF this year :D
Ya know, if I get a good enough feedback, I might seriously consider doing an MLP marathon :P
Re: Huddini's Arts of Magic--Requests:OPEN (Rainbow-Dash's T
A request we had be conversing about, one with the wonderful Lili and her artwork from TTT2. I'm not sure what direction you're taking with this, but the colors would be red/white, and perhaps in one of the images be cropped to fit as an avatar.

Also to note: I will not update/maintain AAO's art thread anymore, it's just too much of a hassle for me haha. Although I don't get much views or replies here, the bbcodes here allow me to be more organized with the thread.
With that, I will only post updates/update the request list only on the AAO version.
