the colours are smooth and the edits aren't obvious, they look legit. I love Trucy & Apollo poker dealer and Troll!Shigaraki! What did you use to make these, may I ask?

So what I would reccommend is to not use .PSD, but if you must, stick to the pencil and block tools and avoid Smudge, Blur, and Paintbrush like the plague. They don't look good on sprites. Also maintain a limited palette, around 32 colors.
Now to the actual sprites. For first sprites, they're much better than most, but they still need a lot of work, Cerulean seems to be an amalgamation of different sprites that didn't work out too well. Why is her cop jacket missing a sleeve? Why is one arm dramatically smaller than the other? Did she soak her scarf in fifteen buckets of starch to make it stay rigid like that? Other things I noticed was the hair and bag seemed to be sprited to a completely different style and look different than the rest of the sprite, and her head and neck are especially tiny.
Other common trends I noticed were overly smooth shading and odd shapes/body proportions. I will say my favorite sprite and the best looking one was this one:
Her proportions are all really solid, and the only thing that needs work is the hair, which is shaded differently and too smoothly compared to the rest of the sprite. You've definitely got a very good jumping off point, which is more than can be said for others, just work on simpler palettes and stay away from things with automatic anti-aliasing.
Also, I personally would reccommend using MS Paint, while an acquired taste, I find it is the best to use when creating sprites. I find the Windows Vista build of Paint to be the best, a good UI, a decent amount of undos, and easier to use in general.

It's the anti-aliasing on the edges, I suppose you're using the brush on them.
I suggest working with the pencil tool and using a palette. IIRC, PW sprites use 10-18 colors, and AJ sprites have 40-70

Still have no luck at removing the white outline ._., it's probably photoshop's fault.
edit: Ah, actually Percei and Auriaon told me how to remove that one :D

Yeah, he's made of around 5 sprites...or more. The missing sleeve is actually part of the character design, but I guess it do looks strange. Now that you pointed it out..I didn't notice the significant difference in arm sizes before that. Eh, yeah, the scarf is a problem. I tried fixing it but it turns out worse so I just left it that way.
That's because the Hair and the bag, and the neck is hand-drawn, I guess it's too obvious
. The reason why the neck is too small probably got to do with my drawing style, I really need to pay more attention next time -_-;.The shading is too smooth because of the brush tool I think, I noticed the hair too but I don't really fix it.
I guess I do make a lot of mistakes, Thanks a lot for pointing all of them out :D. Your critique is really helpful.
and actually all of my OCs are male, bad proportion, I know.
Too bad that my OS is not vista, and I find a trouble in using Paint. No layers, I still can't edit in one layer yet.

although theres things to point out are wrong...ill hold it until your actually done...as for the clothes...you could just go with pearls old clothing...or somthing like it...even if not dont forget the magnatama.
one other thing i might mention just in case with the hair...currently its odd...i say this because the back of her head indicates its tied into a point...but you have hair coming off the back as if it isnt...so you might wanna work on that to one hair style or the other or just work to make the back of her head indicate both hairstyles.

.well...when it comes to clothing its always good to consider the characters personality...now i myself have issues with deciding on clothing and such...im my case i usually search through art with a certain style of clothing in mind until i form an idea of what i want in your case casual so...just start there.
anyway since your done ill now point out what i see is wrong with it. For starters I notice a few areas have jaggy shading,lines as an example the pearls on the necklace...the middle color dividing shade a from shade c should help both blend the 2 outer shades and prevent jagged lines.
next thing is about the bright outer line on pearls arm which should be removed.
anyways its good, you just need to try and smooth out the sprite a bit and try and get rid of those bright outlines.

The sprite design itself is really nice, I like how she even has a fist ready to punch someone XD but I have to crit some bits D=
The outlines of the arms look a bit thick, as if they were sketched by a pencil or something and they're a bit too dark. The skin colour outside the outlines will need erasing too.
Also the colour of the scarf and belt seem pretty drab but that's just personal preference :B
Pearl Gramarye is awesome. The white outlines can be eradicated just by going and getting rid of the white bits in GIMP or whatever you use then re-animating.

This sprite set gives me a idea for a fangame which consist of a fancase in which Trucy is a witness (I even already think of a murder trick). Hmm..And maybe pearl can be your assistant as I probably can fix her sprites.

That aside I hope I'll edit more sprites in the future >W>

its good but the only thing id think of fixing is the outline on trucys hair...at the moment its a tad to bold...id suggest thinning it...id also turn it to a dark brown rather than black (if it is dark brown just a tad less dark but definitely try thinning it.)

Awesomesauce. However, something about her thrid sprite seems... off to me. I don't know if it's because her eye's are visible or some other silly reasons, but her expression looks more like she's sad or reminiscing than sly/knowing something I don't know.
Still, I might be wrong. If I am, just know that your sprites and amazing and that i'm only trying to offer my opinion as best i can...
Ninja Edit: Have you ever thought about doing an femaly Polly to match up with Trey? Just wondering about that.
