You have put eyeballs on the Co-Counsel version of this sprite, then why not in this one too?

I think her actual co-counsel pose in Dual Destinies maintains the eyes. (I should look for that pose). I trust Merc know's what he's doing XD
EDIT: Looks like we're both right: (Look at the bottom row, 1st image) There is also a pupil-less one too, but that's an easy edit.

Ace Pointer is right in that they don't match exactly. I needed them for drvonkitty and my comp entry so I rushed the stuff under time pressure (so I took shortcuts, lol), and some poses (like the one where she uses the screen) just don't work on a DS screen. The set isn't really consistent with itself either because I kept experimenting and refining my method.

Heh, I'm not misunderstanding. I just chose not to answer so I was making a cool Godot face lol. I never put eyeballs on that sprite, I just touched up the existing one which had really badly drawn eyes.

XD Truthfully that was because I didn't realise there were two versions when I was doing the front sprite and accidentally used the wrong reference lol
Well, I've seen more than enough Athena sprites to still care about what poses she has and does not have. Maybe it'll happen. I'm not committing to anything.

Seriously though, they look great! I'm wondering if she'll appear on GS6. But I'm sure she'll definitely appear on GK3. But those games aren't even arrived yet~~

a. All are pretty cool
b. Her future design depends on how do you wanna portray Franziska in the future.
My personal preferences here:
- No. 5 attire (I really liked the spiky shoulderpads)
- No. 6 Haircut (makes her look even more severe than before)
- No. 6 Boots (less flamboyant, but still quite stilish, IMO)
- No. 1 Skirt (I made a lazy choice here, for this is the most similar of her normal design)
On another note, No. 3 reminds me of her young attire in AAI (the jockey theme is strong in this one... dunno, when I see those white pants it's the first thing that comes to mind), which I suppose wluld also bring back the riding whip with it, which would seem like taking a step back...
Character design is a very hard job. I commend you, for all the effort this must be, and the high quality of what you present.
PS: I also like her long hair. But long hair is normally associated with feminity, so I can see why it wouldn't make it in an official design. Nut damn, I sort of like it.

Part of some (more) commission stuff for Ropfa I did a while back. (This guy's set and some Perceive sprites for Conflict of Interest)
Final sprite for the Athena extended set I think. It's been over a year and I'm tired of it so I won't bother making the others I had in mind XD so the set is retired and stuff now but don't think those are the last Athenas from me though XD
