.:~Tips and Tricks from Jaws~:.
- -Photoshop, GIMP, OpenCanvass, or Paint Shop Pro are a must when spriting in my opinion. They just do what MS Paint and other oekaki programs cannot. They are free if you torrent them, and not much to install. I can help those who request it.
-Warp tool is your friend! In fact, ITS YOUR ONLY FRIEND. Make things fit, bend things, resize, reshape, anything, but know that the warp tool is the equivalent to moist cake. Period.
-Blend with the light. Smudge tools usually achieve this well.
-Go back and edit any stray pixels the best you can. It just makes the sprite look a lot neater that way.
-Experiment...WITH SCIENCE!

So people have been wondering, "Gee golly gosh, Daryan is a cool guy and his hair totally doesn't resemble a penis." If you truly have thought this, you get my total respect--for those penis jokes have been getting quite old.
There has been the biggest speculation going on as to what his hair would look like if it were laid down. Well my friend Ally attempted an art based on a sprite of mine, and I think it started other arts in motion. (YAY I STARTED A TREND! 8D)
I've had these sprites for MONTHS now, and have been selfish with them because I love my shark boy. But hell, if it makes people happy, why not share them?
Mind you, this is only the preview. I will have a full sheet of each recolor soon.

Well I've been sitting on a couple Garyuu oddball sprites. I have recolors and different outfits, but THEY'RE CONVENIENTLY MISSING *scowl scowl* so at least I have a Photobucket account with SOME Kiri sprites left.

Jaws has been a stingy bastard. These were done last year. And I never do anything with sprites other than make them. So here's a nice Thalassa sprite for her die-hard fans.

I wish it looked more authentic to the actual sprite style, so I guess back to ye ol drawing board until I get it right. The only thing I would say is to give Thalassa more of an adult figure? She seems to be elongated and slender, yet a bit too slender... other than that, I'd like to see more!
