So, yeah. Yesterday I went to the Japantag or 日本デー in Düsseldorf, which is in Germany. I didn't participate in that "cosplay catwalk", but I was dressed up more or less like Maya Fey.

Yeah, I'm not perfect, and especially the wig kept causing trouble, so after making some photos, this one for example

(please excuse the strange face I make) I committed a deadly sin found another model to keep care of my wig because I wanted to keep this from becoming a too awkward situation.

After that, I was roaming around a little and saw a bunch of *real* cosplayers in bloody cool outfits. My friends didn't come, so I knew nobody of them, which was really a pity, I guess. However, I really want to come back next year, and I would be super happy if someone could tell me how to improve my costume making.

But you are a real cosplayer!! You put together a cosplay and wore it -- that's a real cosplayer! :will:

You look super cute! Your necklace&Magatama came out really well, and your robe is like the perfect shade of purple for Mata, I think!

My only advice is one I didn't think of until I saw a friend do it at the con -- but ironing your outfit the night before/before wearing it can help get rid of those pesky wrinkles that happen during transportation! Especially for Ace Attorney cosplay -- ironing vests and suit jackets and dress pants and etcetc can give it that nice touch!
That's really all I'd say -- but even then that's not something you have to do.

I hope you go back next year and keep cosplaying Ace Attorney!!! :maya:
