You are very astute! I actually had a lesson of the day, but I was so tired when I finished it (I stayed up 'til five AM 0_o) that I forgot to put it in. I will update it and put it in, though. For the record, the lesson of the day was: Be careful what you wish for, because it will be comically misinterpreted.
You guys are truly awesome! Thank you for reading. I'm happy to report that while Phoenix and Edgeworth may or may not have ended up having a life of crushed dreams and pina coladas, this story has no continuity whatsoever, so E & T has another episode on the way!
