NEW APOLLO JUSTICE REMIX! Took some liberties with the Solitary Confinement theme, and I much enjoy how it ended up. Feedback is appreciated!

I WILL FINISH THIS ALBUM BEFORE I DIE, I PROMISE!

I need to get around to making a new album art. I'll worry about that some other time.

GYAKUTEN MEETS THE STREETS
Spoiler: "What Is GYAKUTEN MEETS THE STREETS, anyway?"
"Gyakuten Saiban Instrumental Album - GYAKUTEN MEETS THE STREETS" will be an album of tunes from the Gyakuten Saiban series rearranged in hip-hop-inspired styles. As a huge fan of the source compositions, I intend to do justice with every one of these remixes once all is said and done. Haha, justice. Get it? Get it?

As you can see, this is a pretty old thread, and below you'll find some pretty old remixes. I've gotten much better at sequencing since the old days, and my dream of finishing the GMTS album all but died over the recent years of working on school work and original music. It's gonna take a while, I hope you'll be patient as I continue to improve as a musician.

NEWEST: The Defense Is Ready II. Trial theme from Gyakuten Saiban 2. The finished version will have a bridge

Spoiler: The Defense Is Ready III
The Defense Is Ready III. This is the trial theme from Gyakuten Saiban 3. Just an early preview, the current beat is really a placeholder for something a little different.

Spoiler: The Plot Thickens (preview)
The Plot Thickens (GS4 Courtroom Lounge)
And I have a new preview song to prove it. I owe at least this much to y'all since I've abandoned pretty much all production time these days. See, now that I have my new computer, I s'pose things will be a little different. We'll see how things work out. More info in video description.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iu5NcHUve0g

Spoiler: Distant Beat (preview)
Preview: Distant Beat (a remix of Distant Traces of Beauty). The moment a lot of you have been waiting for. I hope the wait was worth it, but in the end that's up to y'all =P. More on the youtube description.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qoo5G99v ... annel_page

Spoiler: Grief Continuum MP3 6/03
Grief Continuum (remix of True Evening of Grief) - This song... It has a HEART MONITER SOLO.

Notes

All updates can also be found on my YouTube channel. (http://www.youtube.com/user/DetectiveTuesday). I recently rewrote the channel description also, so if you want an idea as to what I'm working on, the general outline is all there.

ALSO: I'm gonna re-upload all of my GYAKUTEN MEETS THE STREETS videos with updated audio soon eventually. If you like what you hear, by all means subscribe. I always appreciate feedback from my listeners.

Thats some talent right there. That sounded awesome. Especially though my $90 virtual surround sound headphones. That was fuckin amazing. I hope to see more of your work, my friend.

By the way, I'm working on a fangame sort of centered around an urban attorney, and I think your style of music would be cool. Would you care to be one of my remixers?

Thanks much, thanks much! It only took about 7 hours for any form of feedback to surface, a new record indeed! >> No really though, appreciated, and I'm glad you bothered to plug in your $90 pair of headphones =P.

I wouldn't at all mind doing a few songs for your fangame, though at the moment I see myself tied up for a week or two(I have a ton of homework deadlines and a couple of exams). Regardless, you can (I insist!) PM me or hit me up on AIM anytime you want to, so I can get an idea as to specifics on what kind of songs you're looking for.

I wish I could give some better feedback than what I am about to give, but I can't for two reasons:
a) I suck at music.
b) About after 30 seconds, I couldn't think straight anymore. I was tranced out.

B is supposed to be positive. That was so awesome, I fail to find better words for it. Very soothing as well. Really fitting to sit back and relax.

I hope to see more of this sort.

I should be ashamed of myself for keeping you guys waiting ;;. I got caught up in some other stuff, so over the weeks this project hasn't gotten much attention, but believe me: Over the past few days I've been back at it... I've spent about 6 hours these past few nights working on the GS1 Trial Theme and the GS4 Cross-Examination theme, and both are almost ready, so expect them to both come out in close succession. No empty promises this time, I promise =P. Give me a day or two, you'll have something.

I loved the GS4 Cross-Examination! Will there be an mp3 version of it soon?
I think that's my favorite version of it yet. Lock-Picking is awesome too.

Keep it up!

Thanks, it's good to know people are listening ^_^. Yes, there will be an mp3 version of it soon enough, with a couple of changes and of course, better quality(that's a big one =P).

I'm also still hard at work on the Trial Theme, I think maybe if I pull out some stops I could have a preview up by tomorrow night.

All I can surely tell you is that I've been thinking about Distant Traces of Beauty and GS4's Courtroom Lounge for a while now. I really wanna challenge myself and make a remix of Distant Traces. I also wanna do a cornered remix which combines elements from each cornered theme.

Other than that, I've been pretty much doing these remixes as spur-of-the-moment kind of things, no real plan as to which and when. I haven't sat down and listened to the GS soundtracks since my HD crashed a few months ago, but maybe once the above are done I'll force myself to find inspiration =P.

That being said, you should perhaps try Fragrance of dark Coffee, because that would just be MORE awesome.

It would be difficult to do a song with a swing feel in this style. I DID do a version of this song though, featuring me on the sax, and you can hear it here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JqUi0EB0cz0

I'll do another take eventually, and make it a lil' longer also. Right now I don't have my mic =P. Hope you enjoy.

Wow this quite good, keep it up and you might become a rivial to jaws
I was 17 when I joined this forum. During this time I participated in a thread that made light of sexual assault and event making jokes about it. I didn't think much of it at the time other than portraying a villain. I am older, looking back see how unacceptable & disgusting. I removed the comments because I do not wish to condone this behaviour. But of course fragments remain. I can only apologise for any hurt of distress caused.

Just wanted to say the Bitter Taste of Truth is just fantastic.

I've always wanted Jaws to do his version of it so that I would get to listen to it in a non-midi style, and there, you did it. And it's great.

Thanks :)

It sounds fab!

I thought it was going to be a remix of Godot's theme at first. I had to go back and look at the soundtrack list and actually listen to the actual, original song beforehand XD But I love it. Looking forward to the mp3 as always :D :pearly:

The original had such a profound effect on me that I went to search for other remixes for this tune.
And listening to all your other remixes (especially Godot's theme), I know you'll do it well.

Thanks for the feedback so far everyone. It makes me all happy and stuff. I'm back with something new, something different, something unexpected. Yes, it's a Kirby remix. Go listen to it... And comment... And subscribe... (Please? ;;)

Also, Gyakuten Saiban 3's trial theme will be out very soon. This is a promise I intend to keep.

I've rated it 5 stars. XD
It's a relaxing piece. I don't know what Kirby is (I know, I'm really not good at identifying games and names and...ok I'll stop now) but the music is good, even though it is largely piano at the intro. I've never heard Kirby's soundtracks before, so I'm guessing the original must be pretty close (I can't make much of a comparision, sorry.) Anyway, I'm looking forward to the new track you are remixing! (:

You mean... You don't know Kirby? Really??? Hmm, well, next time you play Super Smash Bros, keep an eye out for him (he's a MONSTER). Thanks for the feedback, glad you liked it. This is actually much more laid back than the original version. "Balladized!" if you will. Anyway, yes, Kirby, get on it.

And like I said, my new track will be out very soon. I'm almost as excited as you are =P.

How about, 'The Night I Want To Forget'?
And if you're planning on Remixing GS2's trial theme, then I'd say you call it 'Night of Objections and Testimonies'.

Eh, sorry, I'm not really feeling those >.>. Maybe I could do something with "night". Those names are better than what I have for it (On my iPod the song is called "Good Evening" -___-).

As a side note... I think I want to re-release Lock Picking with just a little less bass. I never noticed how overpowering the bass in that song was until I listened to it alongside the rest of my remixes. I think it stands to be toned down a little bit. Just a heads up for now, I probably won't worry about it until I'm ready to release the whole album in one piece. In the end I want about 15 to 20 songs, and I'll start doing re-uploads for the YouTube links soon enough.
