Started playing Hotel Dusk, again.
Gotta love the character-sprites, the music and the characters themself.
Also, Pokemon Heartgold.

As for my PS3:
Finished Platinum on Dead Space One, now started my second run on Hardcore-Difficulty on Dead Space 2.
Also playing some online ranked matches on Soul Calibur IV and here and there some RE5, mostly mercs.

If anyone wants to play one of these with me, may send me a PM.

Just when I think I'm free, Dragon Quest VIII pulls me back in to finish it. Now I'm finished with the Cash/Carrie quest (which I wasn't even aware it was a sidequest), I'm hanging out in the "other" Empycchu.

I'm sort of on a replay run at the moment. I'm currently replaying L.A Noire which is much better second time through. Then I think I'll replay Mass Effect for the long service medal achievement!

I beat Dragon Quest VIII a few days ago, beat the special dungeon, and had the special ending (not as different as I'd hoped, but nice nonetheless).

After this I decided to tackle the extra quests of Dragon Quest IX. While doing so, I accidentally came across Metal Slime Armor -that, I might add, has a 1% of being found in a certain-rank chest inside a grotto- which I then alchemized to Metal King Slime armor... All hail the Random Numbers God?

I actually finished playing Trials and Tribulations a week ago or something like that. Right now I'm playing The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (for the second time), and Professor Layton - The Last Specter again. I'm also waiting for Rhythm Thief & The Emperor's Treasure to arrive cuz' I wanna try it out. Lots of people said they hate the game, lots of people have said they liked it so I really dunno how its gonna be.

Have you guys ever played that fanmade ROM of Pokémon Fire Red that's called "Omega Fire Red"? It's a version in which all of the trainers and gym leaders are insanely strong (and smart: the usual "growl-scratch-growl-scratch" is replaced by "sleep-powder-leech seed" and other strategies), you already start with the national dex unlocked and all of the available Pokémon can be caught (the ones that you could only get by trading and else have been conveniently "converted" to normal evolutions), including the ones that didn't appear in the original Fire Red and instead showed up only on Leaf Green. If you haven't, I strongly reccomend it. Google it if you're curious, the ROM's pretty easy to find.

Anyway, I'm playing it on my GBA emulator for the iPhone, and I'm one step away from beating the improved Elite Four (the one you fight after clearing Sevii Islands. Those motherfiretrucks summon lvl 97 Pokémon like water); last time I saved was in front of Gary himself. My team goes like this: Sceptile (82), Metagross (81), Salamence (81), Electabuzz (82), Swampert (81) and Mewtwo (91).

Recently, my nephew bought a copy of Super Mario All Stars for SNES and Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt for NES.
And not only that, I also bought Golgo 13: Top Secret Episode for NES too. (Going all RETRO for awhile...)

Im almost finishing up All Stars...need to complete the second quest of SMB The Lost Levels!

Golgo 13...my first time finishing that game in years. I find it too unusually funny that Hitler is the final boss...his name was changed to "SMIRK". :meekins: Now that I finished that game, I might think about getting the second game. (THE MAFAT CONSPIRACY)

Xenoblade Chronicles for the Wii. Finally finished after about 80-odd hours of gameplay over the course of three or four months. It is one of the best experiences I have ever had with a game.

Sounds pretty sweet need to pick that up sometime.

Just beat Darksiders 1, stopped playing a while back halfway through the Black Throne because it's simply too dull and tedious then with the announcement of a sequel figured I should probably see the ending.

Was pretty good even if it wasn't too hard but then again I worked for the Abyssal Armour.

Dark Souls is truly a soul-crushing experience. Once I was fighting this giant wolf boss that uses a giant ass sword in it's mouth to kill me, and I had about 40,000+ souls accumulated on my bloodstain but somehow I managed to die on the way back to the boss area. I lost those souls along with my 3 humanity I had saved up. I lost momentum from that and I started dying a lot more frequently on easy enemies. Curse you Dark Souls!

You guys need to be a bit more attentive to the map, if you don't see five red circles in your minimap then assume the worst.

Ping the enemy you want to attack, and pay attention to your team mate's mana/power If it's high they'll more than likely attack.

Before you can beat your enemy you need to learn your team, fucking talk to them and they'll be more likely to report MIA.
If nobody talks at all then nothing gets done.

*Is confused*

Did I say something wrong? No I know visibility is important and to call SS and RE and to chat and to pay attention to my own teams builds and account for their weaknesses.

I mean I've seen a friend become obsessed with this game to the point that he's hardly fun to play with and indeed talk to anymore.

That seems to help, thanks.

it probably doesn't help that I main Janna though

And don't worry Pierre, I'm very used to other players being douches, Mario Kart in particular has prepared me well for that.

Finally finished Final Fantasy XIII. Well, not FINISHED finished, there's still a half dozen or so missions to do and gotta max everyone's stats out, but the final boss is dead. One of the easiest final bosses ever.

Is in the sequel { } that much.

Seriously, I can't stress enough. The sequel has some gameplay improvements in the adventure sidequesting and extra stuff areas for sure but it still doesn't feel like a 'world' to explore because of the whole 'hub' setup of the game due to time travel. The plot misteps so roughly however it's not enough to save it.

I feel your pain. After the small talk recently here I figured I should get back into it since I hardly touched it before. Killed the moonlight butterfly and those damn Gargoyles. Now I'm nervous, unwilling to explore further into the Darkwoods and my other options seem to be the Catacombs (with reassembling skeletons) or Londo City (full of mostly indestructable and CHEAP ghosts).

So now I'm not sure where I want to go.

Dude... I JUST got past all of those parts recently. The Catacombs aren't too bad since the all you gotta do is kill the guy with the Lantern to stop the skeletons from coming back. I've beaten the Darkroot forest, Blighttown, Catacombs, Still gotta finish the Tomb of the Giants that place is a bitch since it's dark as fuck and all the enemies are giant skeletons that fuck you up :beef:

I somehow managed to get my hands on a Black Knight Halberd and that thing is doing work for me right now. It takes about 1-2 hits for me to kill something, so I really need to get me some Twinkling Titanite to upgrade it to beast mode. Currently in Anor Londo right now, so if you need any help just ask me what to do. I'd advise, if you haven't already, going into the Depths and killing the Gaping Dragon that way you can access Blighttown, though I'd say going through New Londo Ruins >> Valley of Drakes >> Blighttown is much much easier. Still, you should still kill the Gaping Dragon.
