The series is made of so much freaking win.

I trust Jerry to make one hell of a movie.

I REALLY hope they make sure to keep Prince's character light and quippy like in SoT rather than "broody mcbroodbrood, mayor of broodytown" in WW.

Well, the flick is called the Sands of Time.

His script in the first game made me lol.

"Hold on, why am I TALKING TO MYSELF!?"

The games are fun, and thankfully challenging at times. I didn't care much for the first game, though, mainly because I was rather impatient with some of the puzzles.

I don't have high hopes for the movie, though. Not until there's something more to go on than some rather iffy still shots, anyway.

The games are awesome! But I don't have high hopes for the movie either. It's extremely rare that a movie based off a game is at good.

Not to mention the fact that it was beyond easy and there was virutally no replay value and growth.

Beyond easy!? You can't be serious! Sands of Time does get easier as you get used to it, yes, but before you do, the game is as far away from easy as you can get. However, I will fully agree Battles of Prince of Persia was easy. I suck at tactic games and even I had no trouble with it.

Sands of Time never was hard. Right from the beginning it was pure and simply easy. It was epic and awesomely fun, but easy. It had so many things (auto-ledge-grabbing, for instance) that shaped it towards helping you out.

It was all done seamlessly and visually pleasing, but ... I don't see what you mean by "Sands of Time does get easier as you get used to it, yes, but before you do, the game is as far away from easy as you can get".

I've had all three games but couldn't finish them out of:

SOT: Difficulty
WW: Laziness
TTT: Game was faulty.

I agree. I'll admit though it seemed hard at first, but after you start to know what you need to look for the game starts moving a WHOLE lot faster that when you first start. I do think that the fighting is a little tough in WW though.

This reminds me, I need to beat TTT. I didn't know there was gonna be a movie.. Cool. Maybe <_< As long as they get someone decent to play Prince.

Is the Two Thrones as good as Sands of Time? I was turned off from trying Warrior Within when I heard they "matured" up the Prince (read: he says "bitch" now and broods) and added blood spray.

I loved TTT. Felt like it struck a very nice balance between SoT and WW for me.
