Main site lagging?

Just today, I was trying to check some sprites on the main site, and many of the images appeared to be broken. Then when I exited and tried to access the site again, an 'Error 101' appeared. Is it just me, or is that really a problem. Oh, and I'm using Chrome, if you need that info. Help is much appreciated~ :keiko:

CR itself loads extremely slow, but the forum is working fine...

This happens every now and then. It could be from anything, really. I don't think it's your computer, at least.

It is impossible to tell where the law stops and justice begins.

The main site of CR is hosted on a shared server. If someone else has a spike of activity it'll ripple over on to us. (Not that the reverse has never been true. Oh no, CR's always been on our best behavior, we've NEVER been so active as to bring down their servers >.>)

Sometimes it'll do that when I go on to CR(I use Chrome, too), but I just re-type the whole link address and it works(if that helps at all).

CR has always gone slow for me. I just figured it was because it's always been so image heavy!

I encountered this problem a while back, but for me it worked fine when I went back and reloaded the image.
I'm using Firefox, btw.

Mostly a lurker now. I used to be active once upon a time.

I have the same problem.. o.O
It lagged everytime and then - my pc didn't work anymore. D:
