Fairly Oddparents, I haven't seen the live-action movies but I'm thinking that it's going to be a series finale and/or it sucks. If it really is a series finale then I would just like to say here that I want it back. For me the only two watchable shows on Nickelodeon now are iCarly and Spongebob. Which is quite a shame, there needs to be more Fairly Oddparents.

I also wouldn't mind them bringing back The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack. It was cut too young. I wish they'd bring it back.

Victorious is not that bad show. It has it's moments.

But, I remembered another show I want back, Batman Beyond. That show was badass. I remember watching one of the movies not too long ago. It was one with the joker who was planing to use a satellite as a lazer to kill everyone/turn everyone into his minions or something like that.

The live action movie wasn't terrible.
Spoiler: Can't give away characters...
Chester and AJ are dicks when they see their "best friend" though. And Daniella Monet just wasn't Tootie to me. I dunno, I just didn't like her as Tootie.

And yeah, Flapjack was cut way too early.

Oh! Almost forgot! My sister said she saw a commercial for new Fairly Oddparents episodes. So, yeah...

Also, is this just kid's shows? Because if not, Due South. It was a lovely little Canadian show about a mountie that moves down to Chicago. I remember watching it when I was really young(even though it was near finishing then) with my mum on the Beeb.

New England! Specifically, Massachusetts cuz "the spirit of Massachusetts is the spirit of America!"

Another show they should bring back is All That. I loved All That. It beat the Amanda Show by one thousand.

Well, the ending was stupid.
Spoiler: Dammit Jorgan get a better actor
Timmy getting to keep his fairies was kinda dumb, but a sappy, happy ending. Then they fly away in a van? No one noticed? What happened to "keep magic a secret"? AND POOF'S STEREOTYPICAL BLACK VOICE WAS TERRIBLE

Well, what are you gonna do? Live action movies about cartoons always suck. Always.

Well I'm a kid of the 80s and 90s so I loved those cartoons and anime. I wished to see those series of my childhood again, for example:
Anime Series:
Saber Rider and the Starsheriffs (星銃士ビスマルク)
Eine fröhliche Familie (Anime based on the book Little Women)
Lady Oscar
Ein Supertrio (Cat's Eye)
Rascal, der Waschbär (Rascal) (also based on a book)
Tao Tao

Cartoons:
Disney's Gummy Bears
The Raccoons
Heman
Brave Starr
Fantastic Max
Mega Man
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

I agree with you there. Except for maybe some superhero movies, but those are more based on comics, so I don't know if that counts. (Yeah, I'm a total Marvel fan)

I'm now adding to my single post with Firefly, Ed, Edd and Eddy and The K.N.D (Kids Next Door). I'd say Twin Peaks, but the way Lynch was going with that was even getting to weird for that show.

So good news for those who liked '90's Nick'. Starting sometime later this month, Nick@Nite is going to put back most if not all of Nickelodeon's programs from the 1990's. This includes shows like Doug, All That, Ah Real Monsters, etc. Obviously they'll just be all reruns and they'll only be shown after Midnight so make of that what you will. Personally the only Nickelodeon show I liked from back then was the Rugrats if only because it was slightly charming when it wasn't disturbing, I don't know if that's going to be on this though.

Anyways, they have a Facebook page for this. I think if you just search '90's Nick' you'll get the official page, where I expect there to be more details. I'm just telling you what I know based on one TV Spot that I saw.

AABattery wrote:

Not true. Thousands of people love 4Kids without even knowing it. Anyone(barring non-English-speaking viewers I guess) who actually liked the first few seasons of Pokemon most also liked 4Kids, you know, because they probably just let nostalgia interfere with their memory. 4Kids still sucked with Pokemon though. The series got much better when 4Kids stopped dubbing it and The Pokemon Company International took over. For some reason people seem to forget that...

Anyways, I was just thinking of how nostalgic I was for Captain Planet...

Looks like they're trying to make the Captain Planet live action movie again.

Doug was on Nickelodeon at first from 1991-1994, after that from 1996-1999 Disney bought the show and made a couple of changes. Most people remember it more on Nick anyway.

Some more details about it:

Wikipedia wrote:
The '90s Are All That is a programming block that is set to air beginning July 25, 2011 on TeenNick. The block will show requested Nickelodeon shows from the 1990s, airing during the weekdays at 12 am to 4 am. A two-hour block has also been set aside for Saturday and Sunday afternoons from 4 to 6 pm.

The creation of the block was inspired by a large amount of interest in classic Nickelodeon series by users of social media outlets such as Facebook. The block derives its name and logo from All That, a popular sketch comedy series that ran on Nickelodeon from 1994 to 2005.

Spoiler: These are the programs that are going to be shown during this programming block
The opening week's lineup will comprise of:

All That
Clarissa Explains it All
Doug
Kenan & Kel

Other shows expected to be rotated into the block in subsequent weeks include:

Aaahh!!! Real Monsters
The Adventures of Pete & Pete
The Amanda Show
Are You Afraid of the Dark?
CatDog
Double Dare
GUTS
Hey Arnold!
Legends of the Hidden Temple
Rocket Power
The Ren & Stimpy Show
Rocko's Modern Life
Rugrats
Salute Your Shorts
The Wild Thornberrys

Hmm, I didn't know this would include CatDog. Now I'm interested...

4Kids never had a channel. It's a dubbing company. Most of their shows ended up on KidsWB anyway.

Sliders. I love the concept of travelling to alternate universes, in fact, if I was given the choice between the ability to time travel and the ability to go to alternate universes, I'd choose the alternate universes. I really wish they'd bring it back.

I'd say Heroes. That show got screwed twice, first by the writers' strike of '08 and then by the creators trying desperately to fix the storyline created by replacement writers during the strike, which ended up with the show cancelled. A real shame, since the spin-off material like the comics and the conceived secondary show was really good at the time.

Ah, I'd totally back that up. And it wouldn't be a stretch to continue it either, the narrative makes it very easy to write into without having to reboot anything.

I feel you, I really do.

In the same vein, I sometimes wish they'd made a sixth season of Angel, but... I don't think I've ever liked a sixth season of anything as much as the first five. Maybe it was for the best.
