Well, I did used to air in my country on Saturday mornings, and then at 8pm on weekdays....and then 5am on weekdays and then finally, not airing at all

It is crazy, how people talk more about Gak, than the villain and it is friggin everywhere!
Heck, you even got rule34-animations with it.
I believe, Gak was the true season 3-villain.

Agreed. The interesting characters are actually the main reason (along with the great animation) I love this show so much.
With the exception of Spike, they all felt kinda flat in this episode.

I don't see anything wrong with everlasting night. Okay maybe plants would die and it'd be really cold, but she was just being an attention whore.
Chrysalis never succeeded in enslaving everyone and defeating Celestia doesn't seem too difficult. Besides I think she's an overrated villain. Therefore, I do not like her. At all.
Discord just wanted fun that skewed from everybody's perception of normal. If you think about it Discord could potentially be representing bronies and the Mane 6 + Celestia represented everyone that hates MLP, so it must be destroyed!
Sombra was just a dumb villain that was able to enslave crystal ponies.
About 70% of this is just bs. Except the stuff about Chrysalis. I fucking hate Crysalis and her stupid overratedness.

It misses the season 1 charm for me, kinda, which made me a brony, after all.
(FYI: I found season 1 to be better than season 2)
Nevertheless, it was a good, funny and enjoyable Pinkie Pie-Episode.

Dont get me wrong, fanservice is cool, but it shouldnt overwhelm the overall plot or has to be that obvious in every episode...
It misses the season 1 charm for me, kinda, which made me a brony, after all.

Nevertheless, it was a good, funny and enjoyable Pinkie Pie-Episode.

Applejack is a very close second.
Fluttershy is still my favorite, but Applejack would be the preferred pony if I could meet one.
