Ok, perhaps now it's the great time to give a wake-up call for HC-32.

The thing is, that due to the several unfortunate circumstances way back,
the HC-32 somewhat made a backflip to the brick wall. One of these circumstances
was the vanishing of the complete trial data from my HD. (Wasn't done by me, but
luckily I remember the most of it... *phew*)

Although most of the available positions are already casted, from time to time
there might be a need of replacements and this topic is an attempt to get
replacements for positions within 2 days tops.

Below is the original sign-up post from the old CR, which will be updated during times,
when an emergency recruitment needs to be completed. ESP's (Emergency Sign-up Position)
can be noted by this: EMERGENCY SIGN-UP POSITION

Quote:
Case: HC-32 -=- TURNABOUT BURIAL
State vs. Michael Baum

"Fighters for Justice"

(CLOSED: Otorimaster)

(EMERGENCY SIGN-UP POSITION: Gwiffen)

Defense's Aid (optional): Marvin Grossberg - 54, Souryuu's Mentor.
(EMERGENCY SIGN-UP POSITION:)

Judge: Judge's Brother - N/A, Judge
(CLOSED: Gumshoe)

Victim: Maria Stern (Dead)

Defendant: Michael Baum - 29, Door-to-door Salesman
(CLOSED: TailsBell)

(CLOSED: Demonic Defense)

Neil Russell - 39, Inn owner
(CLOSED: Tinker)

John Cartridge - 23, Police Officer (Highway Patrol)
(CLOSED: Liam-e)

Philip Groze - 35, Plumber
(CLOSED: Xin Eohp)

Marcus Chamberlain - 29, White Collar Worker
(CLOSED: Guard Daos)

PROFILE PERSONALITIES:
-----------------------------------

All profiles, except the "basic characters", have open personality (determined by the player). Below is stated some points belonging to the characters, offering a base for your profiles.

The Aids of Prosecution and Defense are optional in case, that if someone wishes to come in, but missed the "Main Characters". But it doesn't matter, if you sign for the aids as well.

-----------------------------------

Souryuu Kaminogi: Is cocky, self-assured, and very skilled. He likes to tease and refers to beautiful women as his "kittens." When push comes to shove, however, he is very dedicated to putting criminals behind bars.

Charles Richter: Sub-ordinate and fanatic follower of Sigmund Snipe. He has a bit issues about his behavior, causing him to curse very loud and very much. His huge, muscular size often can make the walls tremble.

Marvin Grossberg: A mild-mannered man and, we have to assume, a skilled attorney. He's usually cheerful and well-meaning but also something of a pessimist.

Michael Baum: A man, whose life is a success and it can be seen from his face. Like a door-to-door salesman, he is ready to get his point through and even the defendant's mark don't stop him smiling with his shocking bright teeth.

Emma Tiara: Easily scared young woman. As a somewhat maybe a bit too rich, she hasn't fully learned the facts of life. Tends to 'forget' things.

Neil Russel: Hopes for the best of his life and is now stucked into a very low-class inn. The guy has attitude, though. Keeps his head up everywhere and tries to be happy to his life. Succeeds in most of the cases.

John Cartridge: Recently deployed young policeman. Anxious to his job as the highway patrol. He is highly intelligent man, hard to be messed up with.

Philip Groze: A man next door of Michael Baum. Tired to his job as a plumber and tired anyways with his life slapping him with both hands to both cheeks at same time. Has been noticed to have insomnia.

DT. Gumshoe: Gumshoe takes great pride in his work, and also in his "strong bond of trust" with the prosecutor's office. He's usually cheerful, is hardworking, and eager to please. But he also takes his job seriously, which causes conflict when he wants to help both sides of the case. Can sometimes be easily discouraged.

Marcus Chamberlain: Office-Rat from every inch. Walking around in the best suit, he has to offer with a suitcase. Is known to be extremely presice. Lives next door of Michael Baum.

Sigmund Snipe: Is known to be extremely hard and cold. Tends to 'lose it' sometimes, but very rarely. He doesn't let anything off his eyes, before he has squeezed every single piece of information. Often refers a court session as 'Another day at the battlefield', and personally enters to bid good luck for the defense.

-----------------------------------
There are the basics. After you're signed up, each character's actor will receive data about their relation to the case itself.

-----------------------------------

AUTOPSY REPORT
-----------------------------------
Time of Death: 10.30pm - 11.00pm 26th July

Reason of Death:

Loss of blood and damaged lung caused by three 9 millimeter bullets.

POLICE REPORT
-----------------------------------
Crime: Homicide 1st Degree
Crime Scene: Small Parking/ Resting spot. Outskirts of L.A.

Suspect: Michael Baum, 37 years, Male, Door-to-door -salesman
Victim : Maria Stern, 32 years, Female, Barber

Description:

Body was dug up about near a resting spot outskirts of L.A
Witness Emma Tiara was enroute to L.A. and stopped to take a break, when realized
an usual scent near the stop. She went to discover the origin of the smell and found a hand sticking out the ground-

Emma Tiara panicked and ran off screaming to the road. Same time officer John Cartridge was driving back to the precint and was stopped immediately, when saw a screaming woman in the middle of the road.

Further discoveries during the autopsy showed, that it was a body of Maria Stern.

Reason of Arrest:

Around 11.30 pm Neil Russel, an owner of a small pub 1 mile off the crime scene saw the defendant busting in to the pub dirty from sand carrying a shovel. He had minor injuries, that showed, he had ran into a fight. He had asked for help from the pub owner. Owner, Neil Russel had identified Michael Baum and was put under arrest for murder.

Motive for Crime:

Michael Baum and Maria Stern were lovers, but according to the neighbors, especially Philip Groze and Marcus Chamberlain, who both lived next door, they've got serious fights recently. Michael Baum had just last week won 2 million dollars in the lottery. Maria Stern seemingly wanted to have her cut from the prize, but Michael was reluctant to give it. They both have fights in, which Michael Baum seems to get hit by an unknown object to the head.

Possible progress of Crime:

In order to completely stop the case, it would seem, that Michael and Maria drove in to the resting spot and while Maria was away, Michael pulled out the gun and shot her three times burying her afterwards with the shovel in his trunk. He then panicked himself after burying the body and ran off to Neil Russel's inn. Neil Russel lend him a car to get back home.

Details:

One bullet pierced a lung. Other two bullets shot in left shoulder and left waist, damaging artilleries and muscles. Bullet in left shoulder penetrated
the body. Approximate distance shooting distance was 8 meters. Body was buried soon after shooting. Body was found 2 days later. Decomposition process had already started, but identification and determining the reason of death was still able to be complete.

-----------------------------------

I wish you good luck, all, who's about to get signed up. If you've got any questions, reply or PM me.

Also you, who have already signed up and are active, could you please verify here, that you're still in? :edgy:

Thanks a million RSW. Ok, Liam-e, John Cartridge is yours. Check your PM. I send you some data.
Also, Groze is now set as Emergency Sign-up Position.

Check the top of the first post. I intend to place an update log of sorts there.

I may as well say this here too, not just in PMs. I'm good at playing multiple parts. I can be Groze as well, if possible. It should help the trial move along, anyway.

The defendant wasn't originally planned to be in the castings, but I guess, that since the plotline is already severed, it can be done. It takes some time to write it into the story, though.

So far no. Although the defendant has been requested in the case, so I just write it in the game.

Others, sorry for the delay. I've had some issues back here. Haven't got the time to write the backgrounds. I do them ASAP. Theose, who have requested a cast, please reply to verify your active presence.

I will, if there are no other spots open. It would be my first trial, though, so if there are any objections to me being judge, please tell me, I really just want a small part.
Thanks though :)

Gumshoe, you're sure, you want to lay off on this. If so, then it's okay.

Godot Fan. The Plumber is still open. I didn't catch anyone else wanting it.

Otorimaster, You're accepted as Charles Richter. You may find some clues about the last actor's behavior as Richter on the Old CR Forums.

Very well, Ben-Credable. The place is yours.

My studies have breaked the case down a bit. However I'm now dealing with all 'backstage issues'. We'll be able to continue very soon.

Thankyou for your patience.
