Welcome to the court docket, otherwise known as the list of approved trials. As the name implies, this topic contains a list of all of the trials that have been approved by the mods. Every time a new trial is approved it'll be added here in the order it was requested in the rules topic, and the status of all in-progress or completed trials will be posted here as well. This post will be updated as trials are added and completed, so make sure you check back often.

ATTENTION, SHELLY DE KILLER. LoG has brought an end to his trial. Thus, your case is now being called to court. Post in this topic within the next week to inform the court that you are still active and intend to run your trial. If you don't respond in a timely matter, I'll move down the docket and continue to case FB-54.

Thanks for your cooperation!

the last time shelly was on was over a month ago, so I don't have high hopes...

And DT hasn't been on in two months so theres not much hope for that one as well....

Mang..nobody is ever on..which is why these trials get so clogged..

GET ON MORE. I don't mean to be harsh but seriously, there are active members waiting forever..

Just though I should point out, JN-8 hasn't been posted in for over a month (I believe the last post was me warning it was about to get closed), Not to mention the creator hasn't been on in at least two weeks, so we could probably close that topic.

MY BAD. :(

At any rate, DT183, your trial is on call. Post in this topic to confirm that you're around to get your trial started.

Akagi, you might consider getting things together in case DT doesn't post...

DT183 Hasn't even been on CR since May ( :april: ) so I think we are ready to move on in the docket Don't you agree?

Post subject:  Re: The Court Docket

Yikes, I'm really sorry, I haven't been doing a terribly good job of keeping up on this.

Since it seems that a lot of these trials aren't being called on, in the interest of time I'm placing both Akagi and BladeKirio's trials on call. If the trend continues and neither of them respond, at least we'll be a week closer to the actual schedule. Since Akagi's got the earlier spot on the docket, they'll get the nod if both post before the deadline.

Post subject:  Re: The Court Docket

Okay, Anders is out getting his wisdom teeth yanked from his skull, so I'm taking over for a bit.

Akagi can go ahead and start signups.

It doesn't look like BladeKiro has responded, so we skip to AJ Bryant. AJ has a week to respond!

Let's start with that for now~

Well, AJ hasn't responded, and it's been a week...

Does that make it my go? :D

Post subject:  Re: The Court Docket

My teeth got yanked, and just as I'm starting to recover from that, school starts. What a fun couple of weeks it's been for me.

Liam-e, your trial's on call. I know you just posted to that effect last week, but for the sake of protocol I'm gonna ask that you reconfirm here that you're ready to get going. As for everybody else, don't give up hope quite yet. I'm considering canning my trial in the near future (due to woeful lack of activity, unless I can get that to change soon), which would open up another slot. Your patience is appreciated!

What case is SR-20 about? Also, how do I sign up for SR-20? I'm not seeing any sign-up threads, nor am I seeing any threads are SR-20 in the Courthouse.

The problem is that the majority of the trials are just sitting there, doing nothing, and they STILL haven't been cleared out.

Akagi should have made the sign-ups thread for that ages ago. I'm assuming he has internet problems.

I'm not entirely sure who Akagi is, but maybe he has some real life issues?

This is taking a long time, can't we bump the delayed cases down? If we don't, there's a good chance that some of the cases will take more than 1 year to complete, while some of the other will not happen at all.

Shouldn't Akagi's trial be bumped down or something? I mean, he hasn't even made a sign up thread and it's been about 2 months since saying he'd start it...

Just sayin...

If SR-20 is entering sign-ups, why has no thread been made yet? If I recall correctly, it's been over two months since Akagi said "It should be up by this week for sure." No offense to Akagi, but if he/she cannot keep his/her promises, he/she should withdraw his/her trial from the docket until it is more convenient for him/her to host sign-ups (and the trial itself).

Taking another look, I've noticed that this particular board seems terribly inefficient. Again, this is no personal attack on anyone--just a blunt statement of the facts. As things stand, many people have been waiting more than half a year just to host sign-ups. Also, look at the Court House itself: even the current trials haven't seen action in over a month! Sorry if I sound like some angry customer at a retail store, but is there any way to make this place run more smoothly?

Yes, remove the court docket system.

Post subject:  Re: The Court Docket

I signed up for a trial a few months back, it started up, and then the host left. It didn't even get to my part (2nd witness), and it hasn't seen any action for at least 3 months. I think the Trials should be more like the General Roleplay section, except still with signups.

I agree with those guys; this Court Docket is quite inefficient. I can't even tell if I'm allowed to suggest my own idea for a trial because of the "The current maximum for trials in progress is 6" rule.

Author:  General Luigi [ Sat Jan 12, 2008 2:36 am ]
Post subject:  Re: The Court Docket

New ideas aren't being accepted; the line for trials is too long as it is.

Author:  Rov [ Sat Jan 12, 2008 2:40 am ]
Post subject:  Re: The Court Docket

Yes, but you see, I've been anxious to start my own trial since I noticed this section last year. The line up hasn't really changed much.

Author:  General Luigi [ Sat Jan 12, 2008 2:48 am ]
Post subject:  Re: The Court Docket

I've also got my own idea, but I got the idea after the docket was closed to new trials. Anyway, I don't think this is a complaint thread, so I'll see if I can speak with an Administrator about this issue.

Edit: I've brought up the issue on the Court Docket board. Anyone who wants these inefficiencies dealt with should post their position there.
