Suspect Data
: Kenny Stevens (age 22) - Beach lifeguard. Had been dating the victim for about 1 week.

Reason for suspicion: Physical data at the scene of the crime place him there, and not any others.

Evidence

Court Docket
Prosecutor: Sebastian Best (Mr. Trite)
Defense Attorney: Jett Peters (TailsBell)
Judge: Matt620
Detective: Linda Conners (GavinnerRock)

Kenny Stevens: Sphinx
Shannon Stevens: Molotov
Bobby Hereford: GeneralLuigi
Evan St. Claire: Ryuzaki

I have decided to follow Tinker's advice and would not accept applications for positions before the case was approved. Consider the application process open now. I posted this in the other topic, but I'll post it again to stress it. Please do not apply for the prosecutor, defense attorney, or detective if you are playing one of those roles in another case. Be a witness if you like, but give the court-work to someone who doesn't have a case. Since this is a separate topic, you may make your requests either by posting or PM. Thank you.

Ivan, I did state not to apply for the prosecution if you were a prosecutor in another case. And you are, in Turnabout Popcorn.

I'd be prosecutor, but I'm defense aid in the other case. Does that count?

Post subject:  Re: BH-09: Turnabout Boardwalk

I will be the detective! I haven't been a detective in any other RPs, so...can I sign up as a detective? Please? :D

Oh, and yoshi927, you can be prosecutor. Defense aid has nothing to do with the prosecution, so I think it's all right. But you should ask Matt still, though.

Well, it really would depend on how involved you are with that case for something like that. That case has just started, so it's really hard to say. I'll keep you in mind, and I'll give it to you tentatively. But if someone who isn't court personnel goes for it, then no.

Gavinner, I don't see that you are in any other cases. Pending approval of another case, you might be, but you are not in one currently. It would not be fair of me to deny you because of that: The case may not even be approved. Alright, I'll allow it.

I checked the Court Docket Matt, your trial has been approved.

Post subject:  Re: BH-09: Turnabout Boardwalk

I know it has. That's why I've been accepting applications. I'm not talking about my trial, I'm talking about Turnabout Essay.

You will need to post your detective's alter ego if I'm going to put it on the list.

I might be out for prosecutor, the defense attorney in Popcorn hasn't been on in a week. If he doesn't come by again, then I might have to take over.

Someone already has defense, TailsBell. You should read posts before you post in this thread.

Anyways, here is my detective:

Detective Linda Connors
Age: 20
Gender: Female
Personality: Linda has a shy, quiet personality around people she doesn't know. However, when she is around people she knows, like her best friend Kayla and her two other friends Lily and Patty, she is loud, funny and bubbly.
Appearence: She has a red T-shirt, a white lab coat, a bag with scientific supplies, loose, blue jeans, light, long brown hair, and brown shoes.

So? What do you think?

Post subject:  Re: BH-09: Turnabout Boardwalk

Remember, though, Gavinner. The one who first said he wanted to be defense was in another trial already. Someone who isn't court personnel in another case is welcome. I'll be sending the PMs momentarily for both of you. I will, however, need your defense attorney persona, Tails.

And your detective is fine,

Uhm, if you wind up needing a prosecutor after all, I'll be more than happy to do it. I'm not in a trial right now, so I'm free.

We do, actually, need a free prosecutor. Post your alter ego prosecutor and I'll send you all the details.

Agh... does Detective counts on that?... man, I really wanted to be Defense Attorney, I wished to test my skills with that... I mean, Detective is an important role, but I really REALLY wanted to be Defense... Please Mr. Matt, PLEEEEEEASE

Author:  Matt620 [ Fri May 09, 2008 2:58 am ]
Post subject:  Re: BH-09: Turnabout Boardwalk

I did expressly state that about detectives, right in the first post. Detective is a role that is very large. It almost always includes testimony, and investigation periods? Oh man, a good detective is worth the prosecution and the defense in one. They can investigate any scene, while the defense might get kicked out, and would probably use the tools and creative thinking to find the best clues.

But we've got a defendant and two witnesses, all of which need to be filled. Please, feel free to take any one of them.

Thanks a ton, Matt! You're the best!

Name: Sebastian Best
Age: 30
Gender: Male

Personality: On first glance, Sebastian is a cold man- Always three steps ahead of people, he rarely talks freely when on the job and is always focused and serious. However, once you get to know him, Sebastian is just a hard-working man trying to make a living. He's intelligent, and knows it- Sebastian never jokes and rarely smiles. Dedication comes above everything, and he looks down upon anybody weak enough to say they can't, when they really just mean that they won't.
Appearance: Mr. Best is the picture-perfect definition of the word style His neat, gone gray early hair is always combed, and falls just a little farther than the base of his head. He wears black-trimmed, square glasses covering his intelligent hazel eyes. Sebastian is a perfection- His gray suits are always pressed perfectly, and his black dress shoes so shiny you can see your reflection. He wears a white dress shirt and a dark navy tie with black stripes. His class ring is shine and always present on his right ring finger.

Matt said he needed a witness. One witness, Shannon-ban-banama. I think the defendant needs a power pill, chop-chop.

Post subject:  Re: BH-09: Turnabout Boardwalk

Alright, that'll just about do it. Melinda doesn't actually need a person to play her, so I can close it and get started with the trial. Yeehaw!

Thanks everyone, for bringing my case to life. It's going to start with a trial phase, just so everyone knows.
