Bio/Backround: witnessed her father's murder when she was six, mother was convicted with it. Adopted at age 8 by Mr. and Mrs. Suna. Roams around with Edgey in europe, they got married over there. Comes back and works in the "Wright Anything Agency". Adopted a daughter named Bailey.

Other: Her heart is on the other side of her chest, Almost dies 2 times (one time in judo practice and one time trying to save from being murdered.) Has a fear of gunshots.

Appearance: Rather muscular for someone of his frame, Keisuke stands at a standard 6 feet. His silver-gray hair is normally worn with the bangs (bangs extend to below his chin.) split at the front. The rest of his hair is somewhat slicked, looking like the back of Klavier's (Young) hairstyle. The eyes however, are differently colored. His left is green, his right is red. He wears plain sunglasses, no matter where. Often times his wear consists of a light leather jacket with a black star with white wings (which have a black lining around them) The top half of it is red while the bottom is white. The jacket itself bears a black lining roughly a couple of inches thick. The cuffs on the sleeves are black. As are his fingerless gloves. He wears a plain black shirt under it and black pants. His shoes are steel-toed black combat boots.
He always wears a suit and tie when he goes to court. Sunglasses remain with him.
Personality: He's a bit of a wise-ass. Laid back, and almost carefree. However, he gets serious, he remains serious. If he has to, he resorts to psychological breakdown of anyone he questions. He always gets his answer. And during fights, his motto remains as is: "If they sign it, it comes to."
Bio/Background: He was trained as a fighter of both martial arts and justice. Special divisions of law established the Takazato Building when he was a mere ten years old. As a child, he went through strict training and educational courses. However, he was trained to the point that they had to train him to have a personality. It worked, but his father, Regal Takazato found him incredibly amusing and put him on the special division of law where he had to perform both prosecution and defense duties. This also put him on the papers for he got into a lot of fights with fleeing suspects.
Occupation: Special Attorney Ops Chief
Weapons (if any): Knife, Fists, .50 Pistol when the SWAT calls.
Other: The Special Attorney Ops Building was established three years after the case dealing with Misham. So by this time it is the first month of its inauguration. Keisuke and Regal have been working on the SAO for five years before the State vs Kitaki case in the shadows.

Appearance: Short dark brown hair and brown eyes. Usually wears a casual black suit with the jacket open. To his annoyance he's only 5'3 and hates it when people bring up it up.
Personality: A cynic and surprisingly childish at times. He's got a very 'whatever will be will be' persona and is the type to want to see see how things play out.
Bio/Backround: Jaime became a prosecutor not because he wanted to follow in his father's footsteps or because he felt a burning desire to ensure the truth or to punish as many scum bags as he could but because it just felt natural. He's been criticized for having a flimsy reason for prosecuting but he simply says his reasons don't aren't related to how well he can work. He began prosecuting a while back and works mainly with Detective Rivera.

Name: Lex Rivera
Age: 24
Appearance: Rusty red hair pulled into a loose pony tail over her left shoulder. Usually wears a white, rolled up blouse under a black-button up vest and black pants. Eyes are hazel coloured.
Personality: Usually good natured and relaxed, things rarely seem to anger her or phase her. However, when she DOES get pissed off she has a talent of suddenly talking like a gangster, complete with accent.
Bio/Backround: Formerly apart of the mob via family connections, she was suddenly cut off and she went into training to become a police officer. Normally, this action would have resulted in either an "accident" or a nicely placed knife but she managed to pull a favor and several promises with the boss to be allowed to leave. There was lots of issues getting in but she managed to get enrolled in training and was starting to live her own life when the day of her exam arrived. There was some bad blood between some members of the mob, herself, and her current examiner so they came up with a plan to deal with both using Lex. Her pills were stolen and they placed a special drug in her water bottle to activate her condition. The plan was to let the examiner take the blame for the "death" of Lex during her test and then set up enough clues to make the examiner look like the guilty party. Lex's body would be moved to a building that was due for demolition and had already had it's checks done. What ended up saving her was a prosecutor named James Law. He saved her again when the political pressure came down on her after the case (think what happened to Maggey and how it caused her to get fired) and exerted enough pressure to allow her to take the exam. James left a big impression on her to become a detective so when she heard that she was going to be assigned to a case in her jurisdiction with someone named J. Law she was excited....only to discover it was Jaime Law she'd be working with, not James.
Occupation: Detective
Weapons (if any): Colt AR-15 and a .40 caliber. Has great precision with knives but refuses to touch them outside household chores or as evidence.
Other: Because she's cataleptic, she has to take medication and keep her doctor up to date to ensure there isn't any accidents (like, getting disemboweled, as per se standards when treating corpses). Her former mob history is pretty much moot point now but on occasion something pops up to bring it back up.

"A rainy day... this sucks. I can't go racing today." Pitter patter went the rain on the window of the newly established SAO. Red and green hues were looking at the paperwork that was just finished, sighing at the fact that he left his video games at home and that there was absolutely nothing to do. Parts store was closed, so he couldn't go work on his car. Arcade was too far a walk, and he already ate. Whatever. He still had the gym in the building anyhow. He made sure his father added some place where the employees could work on fighting, because perps run fast and some of them have knives. Grumbling slightly, he went to the gym, changing clothes to a sleeveless black shirt and some loose-fitting pants. Until the rain stopped, all he would do is continue to practice striking, submission, throws, and various other techniques when dealing with other fighters. All he did. Fight for the hell of it or for justice. Did not matter to him. He did what he did best at the time... because his car was in the shop and he could NOT go there because it was closed. They had the parts he needed too.

Kali looked out the window and stared at the gloomy sight. "I bet there's gonna be no clients in today..." she said gloomily. I guess I'll go get some practice in... she thought grabbing her raincoat, duffle bag, and umbrella. "Miles!" she yelled, "I'm going to see my parents!!" After getting a reply from him, she went out the door.

Pale skin, light blue eyes, has two vertically lined moles under her left eye. Wears an old military suit that used to be her fathers, but bleached & dyed pink :B
Personality: Outgoing & talkitive, & a major flirt.
Bio/Backround: Not only is her last name coincidentaly Valkyrie, but it has also earned her a nickname in court, for picking out the guilty like the Valkyries of myth picked out those who would die from the battlefield. Born & raised in Germany she has a heavy accent (j=y, w=v ect.)While serious in her cases, when not working she takes up excessive drinking & Man-hunting. Ever since she was young she was interested in Law inforcement, always going to work with her father at the police station. With her fathers influence she become a cop, then detective in International Affairs by 17, & at Age 20, she changed her career course & became a Prosecutor.

Other: She's a Narcoleptic (falls asleep at random), & an Epic drunk. She also has a Harlequin Great Dane named Lucher.
Now was one of the times Val really wished that she had a car with a roof. It was an impulse buy, & a sick car, but now that wasn't the thought, as the rain was now pounding down.
Damn. She thought. Well, it couldn't get any worse; she was already soaked. She screeched to a halt at a red light & tapped her newly painted nails on the wheel irrately. Black.
She jumped at the honking madness behind her & looked up, the light was green...which way was she going again? "Right, the courthaus." She took a sharp turn & stepped on the gas, spraying puddle water on the poor pedestrians on the corner.
If I am making it fast enough, I might have time to go for a drink or two after I pick up those records...

Lex Rivera was not by any means a lazy person. She worked hard, did as asked, and was used to waking up early to do exercises before heading into work. However, on her rare days off she was used to sinking into a comatose sleep to make up for all those early mornings. Between that and the fact she had once casually mentioned that she knew how to kill with a piece of paper most people knew to let her sleep.
Lex jumped as she heard her cell go off beside her ear. She fumbled unseeingly for the phone and managed with a croak, "Rivera, here."
"I need you."
As soon as she heard the voice, she abruptly sat up.
While most people knew to let her rest, Jaime Law though was not one of those people.
"I'm busy."
"Doing what?"
"Hibernating."
"This won't take long; I'll let you off with enough time to get an early night's rest, detective."
"Law, it's my day off."
"Criminals don't have days off," he said lightly. "I'm busy right now sorting through who actually has a credible testimony and who the leeches are so I need someone to pick something up for me."
Lex let out a snort, despite herself. Leeches was the word that Jaime always used to describe witnesses just looking for their fifteen minutes of fame. That was almost enough to lift her annoyance at being woken up. Almost.
"Can't you get someone else to do it?" She asked.
"It's your jurisdiction, Rivera, and I want it done before the evening is up," he replied, not quite answering her questions, just like always. "It's at the old city center on the west side. Ask for the tape for camera seven and a written testimony from someone named Kyle Lukian from Norton Security about the repairs that were done on cameras six and seven."
"Written testimony?"
"He's leaving town tonight for another job and probably won't be back for the trial. I'll see you at the lobby around five then."
"I didn't say I'd do it," she protested.
Over the line, she could imagine him looking at her with that crooked look of his. "Of course you didn't but we both know you will."
And then the bastard hung up on her.
Lex resisted the urge to throw her cell across the room and forced herself to relax. She wasn't the type to lose it so easily these days, that's not what detectives did. When she was calmed down enough she allowed herself to smile a little.
Fine, she was up anyway. She needed to pick up some dog food for Whisky anyway. And besides, she could probably score a drink or two out of Law after this.

Robyn stuck out a hand and winced as the drops of rain splashed onto her unprotected head.
"Damn, I knew I should have brought an umbrella," she muttered sadly as she pulled up her overcoat tight before voyaging out into the storm.
It was quiet, perhaps a little too quiet as she left the station. She was overly tired from a homicide case that had had her boss Carlos in 100% stress mode. Not wishing to feel the ultimate wrath, Robyn had signed out early, feigning "investigating" but with the true idea of going back to the house for an early night. She thought about the work she had to do at home and smiled softly.

Lex dully looked out the window of her sunfire. It didn't look like the weather was going to be letting up soon. Luckily the roads were relatively free of cars but were instead slicked with mud.
Trust Law to pick the wettest day of the year to drag me out of sleep.
She was definitely weedling a drink or two out of that man. Maybe something to eat if she was lucky.
It hadn't been as though she had been planning on anything more than a quiet evening home watching videos with her dog and it wasn't as though she didn't like meeting with Prosecutor Law. She was used to being called off duty to handle an assignment or two so it wasn't as though this were a new occurance. It was just the principal of things she decided.
As she decided that, the light suddenly turned red. She slammed on the brakes just as she skidded into a large mud puddle that sprayed off into the sides of the car-
And straight onto the jogger on the sidewalk.

Prosecutor Jaime Law had just gotten off with Detective Rivera when he noticed the faculty member-Mark was it?-sitting across from him was staring at him oddly. "Yes?"
"N-nothing," Marksaid quickly.
Jaime let out a lightsigh. It figured. No one ever said what was on their minds, let alone the truth. That was why the court system seemed plagued with witnesses that comitted perjury.
"Now then, you said you had three people that were missing from their karate lessons," Jaime said.
"Yes." Mark looked visibly pained but continued anyway. "Russel got sick so his friends said they'd take him home."
"And in less than an hour dear Russel is dead with a broken neck."
"Look, Prosecutor-"
"I'm not accusing anyone, not without evidence of course. I just need you to tell me everything about these three boys until my subordinate can deliver that tape."
That didn't make Mark look anymore assured. Oh well.

Lex looked puzzled for a moment as she heard a light tapping on her right window. Making sure the light didn't look like it'd change soon, she maneuvered her body so she could lean over and hit the button for the window. Looking back at her was a man about her age with a smug look as he said, "Yo. You might want to NOT go so fast in the rain."
It was then the flecks of mud on him and the remembrance of the puddle she had just drove through came to memory. Shit.
She smiled sheepishly. "Sorry, my boss called me out on a last minute errand..."
Internally, she groaned. This was the type of situation she was used to being on the other end but even if she hadn't been she could tell how weak her excuse sounded.

"Wait, were not going to talk to the client first?" Kali asked.
"We will after we look at the scene." He replied, getting on his own bike (which was a lot nicer than Kali's). He began riding and Kali rode after him.

Jogging back to work, Keisuke immediately went to the showers and changed back into his casual attire, heading back to his room and deciding it was time to just relax. Although he cut his jog short, he decided it was better to remain not muddy. It'd be nice. Still.. it sucked that there was nothing to do.

Jaime sat in the lobby lightly bouncing his pen up and down his notepad. From an outsider point of view they might have been impressed by the serious expression on his face until they saw the bright yellow, fuzzy smiley face on the flap of the notepad. Marring the pristine pages with bright red ink were multiple scribbling of comments, little web diagrams of information, and the occasion doodling.
Usually he'd be taking the time to get some last minute information for the case but it felt pretty straight forward. Past the biased information, the leeches, and conspiracy theories there were a few plausible theories he could pursue without an issue. All he needed now was that tape just to be sure of things. If only that detective would show up on time.
Impatiently, he snapped open his cell phone and punched in Rivera's number. A few short moments later he heard, "Rivera here."
"You're late."
"It's flooding outside. I ended up having to take it easy." She said the last bit with a weird bit of humor in her voice.
"Where are you now?" He asked.
"Security center picking up up your stuff. Kyle Lukian's just finishing up his testimony. He just confirmed that security camera 6 was down during the time of the incident."
"Good, get over here soon. After that I'll let you go."
"You don't want extra help investigating?"
"I'm done for the day," Jaime replied.
"You sound confident," she remarked.
"It's a straight forward case. The first of the two main suspects should be on trial soon to determine their role in the death of Russel Khip and that should sort out the role of the other suspect for their trial. And besides," he chuckled, "whoever the defense attorney of this case is, they're going to be the ones to pull the trigger."

Kali and Apollo arrived at a simple, generic appartment building.
"We're here." Apollo said, getting off his bike. Kali tried to get off her bike, but her jacket got caught on it somehow. When she tried to pull it loose, she sliped and fell into a puddle. "There is no way in hell that you are 30-something years old...."
"Oh, shut it." kali replied, throwing her umbrella at him. She got up, took her umbrella, and walked into the building. Apollo lead the way to the crime scene, and standing in the doorway doing some paperwork, was Val.

She had sped to get there after obtaining her records at the courthouse. She really wanted to get it overwith & go get totally wasted; & the speed made getting wet nothing, heck, it was almost a speed dry, a wonder she wasn't pulled over.
As soon as she arrived & started taking notes, who else should arrive but Apollo Justice himself, & another female attorney.
Val put down her papers & leaned in the doorwell. "Sharing a case again, eh Herr Yoostice? I am thinking that you won't be meddling mit der(With the) scene anytime soon..." She lifted her leg & positioned her highheeled foot on the other side of the doorwell, blocking entrance. "Who's your lady-friend?" she asked, tilting her head in Kali's direction.

Detective Rivera didn't appear until half past five and well past the time he had asked her to meet him. He barely looked up from his scrawling when she approached him. "You're late."
"We don't need to repeat the obvious," she replied casually, running her hand through her damp hair. "It was short notice, I came as fast as I could, so let's just leave it at that."
So I see, he thought with an absent smirk. He wondered if he should inform her that she was wearing mismatched socks. No, he decided. She shouldn't need her boss to point out things when it was her job to find odd things.
Jaime copied down the last of his notes before taking the small package from the detective. Sure enough, he felt a solid rectangular object and a smaller envelope inside that undoubtedly held the testimony.
"How much of the case did you look into?" He asked.
"Only a little, I'm not the detective in charge of this and it's not a big case," she answered. "Three minors, no solid motive so far, and there's an issue about no one actually seeing the three of them together at that time."
Jaime nodded. He had gotten a chance to take a quick peek at the tape earlier when the investigation started but he needed some time to look it over in depth, hence why he requested an extra copy be made for him. The problem would have been the motive but based on what he was putting together on the three youths he starting to piece together what probably happened.
"It's almost tragic," he said offhandedly. "Someone's life is going to be ruined over stupidity."
"Most crimes are done in some form of stupidity."
"True, humans on a whole seem to have a case of chronic stupidity." Jaime's flipped to the page with suspect data. Dilton (AKA Dill) Picks and Tommie Eto. The defendant for tomorrow would be Dill and Tommie's would be soon after.
"You're done for today, right?" Rivera asked.
"Mostly, yes." He gave her an arched look. Seeing the look on her face he could see where this was going to go. She only smiled so cutely when she wanted something.
"Want to grab a drink at the Brontz?"
"Are you paying?"
"You're the guy, you pay."
"You're my subordinate, you pay."
"You dragged me out into a flood, you pay."
That continued all the way to the doors. Rivera managed to win out one drink when Jaime revealed he had walked so he didn't have his car with him but he wasn't willing to let her win out any more and she wasn't willing to let him get off with just one.

Appearance: Erikk has a relatively normal build. He's a little on the thin side, as he does not like to eat very much. He has long dark brown hair that hangs over his face, and the brown locks extend out into a ponytail that go down to Erikk's mid back. His hazel eyes are accompanied by dark circles, showing just how often the studious prosecutor is up reading. Despite the rims around his eyes, Erikk does keep himself looking rather tidy, wearing a pure white suit with a black undershirt and red tie. He wears thinly-rimmed glasses that he takes off to clean whenever he is nervous, irritated, or at a loss for words.
Personality: Erikk is, most of the time, rather quiet and not too fun to be with. He's a very studious man, and is never found without a needlessly large book in hand. Despite his quiet nature, he also has a very cocky air about him, holding himself above others and most of the time not listening to conversations, instead choosing to read when he should be listening to others. He is not fond of contact with other people. If one can get Erikk to smile, it is a big deal; no one other than his sister has seen the man give a smile that is anymore than a confident or taunting smirk.
Bio/Backround: Has one sister, Carmen Yule, who is fourteen years younger than he is. Just as studious and as much, if not more, of a wallflower than he is. She is uncomfortable around other people, so much to the point that she rarely speaks, and whenever she does her voice is quite hoarse and quiet, in contrast to Erikk's clear, even one. Their parents are often busy, but they do take care of their children, providing any funds needed or offering a shoulder to lean on when needed. However, unless they /are/ needed, they are often out of the way.

Weapons (if any): None, other than his ability to bring others down with his sharp wit
Other: His common enemy in the courtroom is the Defense Attorney Sara King.

Personality: Sara is a cocky, childish, easily-irritable woman, but (usually) means well. She does not know much about law, but doesn't really care; her best friend and defense aid, Brandon Walker, can help her out of tight spots when she really needs it. She's very hot-headed, and often gets excited at inappropriate times. She can be a little dim-witted occasionally, but when truely serious, she can pick up on things that many others cannot. She is also a relatively experienced artist, and whenever she cannot focus on law, she will doodle on the edges of her documents, much to the irritation of her superiors.
Bio/Backround: Has a mother, father and older brother. Sara came from a small town on the east coast, and in her childhood days was relatively uninterested in becoming an attorney. However, as she grew older, she began to grow curious to the ways of law and all of the stories that surrounded it. Thus, she moved to the west to study law, bringing along her best friend and future assistant with her.
Occupation: Defense Attorney
Weapons (if any): None
Other: Wears a cross necklace. It is of no significant importance, but she is never seen not wearing it. Also, she despises Erikk Yule, due to his cocky attitude and his tendency to ignore her while in court.

The simple utterance had come from the lips of the long-haired woman as she slouched in her chair, balancing a pen on her desk idly. Watching it for a moment to make sure it was even, she slowly moved her hand away from it. The pen stood on its end, and the defense attorney gave a proud grin. However, it promptly fell over, causing the grin to morph quickly to an irritated pout.
"Stupid pen." she muttered, tossing it across her office. It was boring here, what with Brandon not being here today. She sighed, leaning back in her chair, gazing out at the cloudy skies and the rain that poured from them.
"Stupid rain."
She grunted as she got up, moving over to the door. She didn't have any cases to work on today; what was the point of staying in this lonely office?
Sliding on the bulkier jacket, she pulled the hood up, to guard her blonde hair from the rain that fell outside. She gave one last look to her office as she opened the door.
"Stupid office."
Shutting and locking the door behind her, she walked down the hallway, past the secretary desk that no one ever used, and opened the door to the water-filled streets and grey skies.
Erikk sat calmly on one of the benches outside of the courthouse, his eyes gazing at the words in his book. Sitting under the roof that sheltered the walkway out of the court, he was completely dry, apparently waiting out the storm in safety.
"Hn..." he mumbled under his breath, looking up at the rain. He had been sitting here for hours.
"I suppose I could go home." he said quietly to himself, looking down at his book. Ever the prepared, he reached down to the umbrella propped up against the bench, picking it up and expertly opening it with one hand. Closing his book without bothering to mark his page, he stood, heading down the streets with a bored expression on his face. The soft patter of rain on the top of his umbrella was calming, in a way.

Appearance: A few inches above average height, and with a slim, athletic build, Brandon isn't exactly one to intimidate others, at least not physically. His dark brown, almost black, hair is long, hanging to just above his shoulders, cut more or less evenly all the way around. It brings out the Native American features, he feels, and has of late begun to embrace that side of him a bit more.
Speaking of, his skin, while still slightly pale, carries with it the undertone of a Native American, and he tans very easily. His dark brown eyes match his hair, and generally have an understanding air about them. On his lips is most often a smile when outside of the courtroom, and a quite serious look when within.
His clothing, which barely passes for business casual, is most often a pair of slacks, accompanied by a dress shirt. The shirt is almost always untucked, and the sleeves unbuttoned. He doesn't wear a tie or belt, keeping things as basic as he can get them.
When in more casual attire, he tends to blend his Native American heritage, his love of heavy metal, and his video-game playing into one bizarre, yet oddly fitting style for himself.
Personality: Brandon is the Yin to Sara's Yang, taking the more passive role in the relationship. He's a very calm, patient, understanding person, and gives people the benefit of the doubt perhaps more often than he should. He's very kind and trusting, and more than once has he been betrayed by a witness who has lied to him in order to make themselves seem more innocent. In those situations, it's normally Sara who pushes the witness until the truth begins to fall.
He does his best to keep Sara in line when she starts to get agitated or stray from the path at hand, and has become quite adept at it, pointing out crucial details that she may have missed in her anger, turning her attitude around quickly.
Outside of the courtroom, he's not too much different, though perhaps a bit more easy going and humored. He tends to not take things seriously, as well, unless it has become obvious that said things are important to his life, or the case at hand.
Bio/Backround: Brandon was born and raised in a small town on the eastern coast. Having been born in October, his Libra sign gave him a natural disposition towards the law and what it stood for. There, he studied law for several years, transferring to a larger college on the west coast when Sara decided to move over there. After another year, he graduated from college, serving as a Magistrate Judge for the local area.
However, after several incidents where his judgments were proven to be incorrect, mainly due to poor defense attorneys, he resigned from his position, and instead began to help Sara, using his knowledge of the law to assist her, and push for the truth.
Occupation: Former Magistrate Judge, currently Defense Aid
Weapons (if any): Black Belt in Tae Kwan Do
Other: Has a tendency to bring a brush into the courtroom to brush his hair, and has often been chided by others for spending way too much time and money on it.

Moving through the parking lot, his dark eyes darted to and fro, until he found the dark car that served as his form of transportation. Hastening over to it, he unlocked the door quickly and slipped inside before shutting the door behind him, locking out the cold rain.
Reaching into his coat, he pulled the manilla folder out, glancing again at the contents. The defendant in the case was Dilton "Dill" Picks, a minor charged with the murder of a friend of his, Russel Khip. They'd had a martial arts class, and Russel wasn't feeling well, so the two boys, Dill and Tommie, offered to escort him home. Later on, less than an hour, even, Russel was found dead with a broken neck. His two friends were the prime suspects, and Dill was on trial tomorrow.
"He says he's innocent. But his alibi..." he sighed, turning the key in the ignition and waiting for the vehicle to start before dropping it into drive. He paused only for another second before pulling out of the lot, heading towards the office, hoping that the rain hadn't gotten Sara down too bad.

"It's too friggin' cold!" she snarled to no one in particular, stomping a little harder as he walked. However, this proved to be a foolish move, as after four steps she found herself splashed with a muddy puddle that had formed on the sidewalk.
Her eye twitched with agitation as she looked down to the muddy stain across her pantsleg and the bottom of her jacket.
"Awesome. Just friggin' awesome." she grunted.
Erikk walked with the same grace and poise as he always did, not letting the rain get him down in the slightest. Even with the wind's tilt on the water, the man was somehow avoiding getting any water droplets on him. Even his long, soft brown ponytail, which blew gently out behind him as he walked, was avoiding being caught with the water that fell from the skies.
He looked up, raising his eyebrows as he spotted a familiar flash of golden hair. His lips creased into a frown.
"Sara." he muttered disdainfully, coming to a halt a few feet before her. He watched in silent amusement as she stomped into a muddy puddle, having not bothered to warn her of it.
Sara's eyes flickered up as she noticed a nearby figure who had come to a stop.
"What? Enjoying my irritation?" she spat, but upon realizing who it was, she let out a groan.
"Of course you're enjoying it. You always enjoy it." she heaved a sigh. "Erikk..."
"That's a nice mudstain you have there." he taunted, narrowing his eyes. "It fits you well."
Sara scowled at him, and she lifted a hand, shoving his umbrella out of the way. Erikk started by the sudden action, and the cold downpour finally reached him, covering his white suit and brown hair with the liquid.
".....bitch." he breathed. Sara smirked.

Lex let out a happy sigh as she downed a satisfyingly free drink paid courtesy of her boss. Meanwhile, said boss was currently sulking in the chair beside her, sipping away at hot chocolate. Surprisingly, it wasn't over the fact she was making him buy.
"Stop moping. You know you can't act like a prosecutor here anymore than I can a cop," Lex said, knowing it wouldn't change anything.
Law stubbornly focused on his hot chocolate.
"An hour or two isn't going to make a difference." When he didn't reply, she added, "What could you have done with it here?"
He only answered with a 'hmph'. It wasn't like she expected anything else. It was mildly infuriating he could have no real attachment to important things like trials but could get so hung up on something so minor. She had just told him to leave his work in the car, it wasn't like she told him his cat died. Based on past experience with the prosecutor's sulk periods he wasn't going to drop it until he had his precious envelope and his precious notepad back in hand.
He's worse than my nephew, she thought.
Having (predictably) failing to get him to drop it she did the next best thing.
While he was absently staring off at the nearby pool game, she ordered another tall one on him.
She might as well have something for baby-sitting as well as nearly drowning.

Turning a corner onto the main road that held the law firm, he paused as he saw Sara and another talking in the rain. He let out a sigh as he noted that it was none other than Erikk. Brandon didn't exactly like the guy, but nor did he hate him with the same burning passion that Sara did. he was an arrogant, pompous ass, sure, but /other/ than that, he wasn't so bad.
Pulling up to them, he reached over, opening the passenger door for Sara. "Get in; we've got work," he said simply, tapping the manilla envelope against the steering wheel as he waited, parked near the curb. "I'm not sure what you two are talking about, but judging from the expression, I can safely say that it's not good." He shrugged, leaning back somewhat in his seat, waiting for Sara to either get in, or a fist fight to break out that he'd have to go and stop.

Val put her foot down & her nose up at Kali, refusing her hand. "Und Kali Edgevorth isn't taking a foot in this room, It is currently under prosecuting inwestigation..."
She turned her back on them & collected her papers. She was not in a good mood, first the rain, & being sober on what she thought was her day off, then after being called in, she's faced with a tampered crime scene & meddling defence attorneys, let alone her least favorite; who 2 years ago had all but almost ruin her career, Apollo Justice.

"H-Hey!" Sara said, pointing at him as if it were a great shock. Erikk rolled his eyes, sighing quietly.
"Your little girlfriend here is harrassing me." Erikk muttered to Brandon, who he didn't find to be as atrociously annoying as the female.
"Cry me a river." Sara said curtly to him, sticking out her tongue childishly before she moved into the car, hopping into the passenger's seat. Erikk glared after her, sighing as he opened his umbrella again.
"As graceful and feminine as ever." he muttered as she awkwardly took off the rain-covered jacket. Much to her chagrin, it got stuck on her shirt sleeve, and her face reddened at Erikk's words.
"SHUT UP!" she shouted at him, pulling it off the rest of the way before slamming the door in Erikk's face, pouting as she slumped down in her seat, scowling out the tinted window at Erikk.
"Drive." she mumbled to Brandon unhappily, her pride having been defeated.
Erikk shook his head and sighed quietly as he started down the street again, eyes glaring dead ahead. He had heard of a crime recently, and though it wasn't his case, he supposed he could go check out the crime scene. He had some connections in the prosecuting world...maybe they'd let him by to see what happened....

She turned off, then opened the thing with her already gloved hands, setting the bottle of wine on the counter, she sifted through the assorted cutlary.
A thought struck her mind.
She was positioned in such a way that, at the moment, Kali could not see the contents of the washer.
This broad barges in on my investigation, ignores my advices on the murder weapon, & then finds the real one-
She plucked out the large pronged turkey-cutter, not completely washed & speckled with blood from the wash, but held it close & out of sight.
I have every mind to hide this damn thing & give myself an advantage...
