Kimi's glowing eyes were wide. "A-Ah... That's kinda I-Impossible!" She began to laugh nervously. Obviously, she didn't notice that her eyes glowed in the dark.

Ulysses glared at Matt.
"I take it," he said with loathing in his voice. "That you're not going to have the guts to apologize to the one you actually hurt." He looked to Kimi, then back to Matt. "Never mind. I'll go after her. I think I have a pretty good idea where she ran off to." He looked to Kimi. "Please, keep him in check. I will be back." He then left the dojo. He could swear he saw a flicker of movement ahead, and he went toward it, hoping it was Callisto who was moving about.

Yew remembered the way they followed from the park to the dojo, but never thought about how to go from there to where she intended. Though it was a simple matter of tracing the way back to where they started. Running on all fours, the fox that was Yew finally arrived near some soaked flyers, which Kimi was handing out before in her demonstration, and nearby was the tree which she had climbed upon hearing a dog. Yew didn't have the best sense of direction, so that tree would come in handy. Climbing it with the expertise of an animal, she looked around to see which way she should take, not properly seeing the approaching figure of Ulysses.

((We'd interact with your characters if they were anywhere near ours. If they were in the dojo or the park instead of one of their houses, then maybe they'd get interaction. As it stands, you're complaining that your characters aren't getting any interaction when you're the one who isolated them in the first place.))

Ulysses ran back to the park, figuring that was the place Callisto would go. The storm pelted him hard, and the mud clung to his shoes. He wouldn't be surprised if they were completely ruined. In all of his excitement, he forgot to bring an umbrella with him. He removed his jacket and un-tucked the shirt under it. As soon as the effects wore off, Callisto would be naked, and he'd make sure she had something to cover her up, although he probably should have grabbed one of the uniforms on his way out. Oh, well. He'd make do. He saw a fox in a tree, the same one that Kimi had jumped into when she heard a dog. He suspected this fox was Callisto.

"Callisto," Ulysses said, addressing the fox. "It's okay, Callisto. Erm...What Matt did was inexcusable. You could press charges on him when you turn back into a human. He doesn't deserve to be out and about. If he has mental problems, he should be in a mental facility, not out where he could harm people and...strangle women." Ulysses' fists were clenched and shaking. Clearly, there was much more he wanted to say or do, but he exercised restraint and waited for Callisto the Fox's reaction to what he already said.

Yew shook her body in a quiver once she felt another life form nearby, Ulysses. Ah, he was addressing her. He probably had seen everything, despite the lack of light inside the place. Dang. She hated when she met people which uncovered that secret. It's not as big of a secret as her involvement with that... organization, but it could lead to rather strange results. She eyed Ulysses closely as he spoke, but didn't move much.

After a moment of silence, she climbed down the tree, but stayed under it, to at least have some cover from the chilly storm. She nodded a few times to Ulysses, and barked lowly. She understood what he meant, but would not be able to speak, even if she wanted: it was as much as she could do to curl in a sort of ball trembling since it was so cold.

Ulysses cautiously approached Callisto as she curled into a ball under the tree.
"Are you cold? Erm...Here," he said, placing his jacket onto the fox. It would warm her up a little, at least. He was pretty cold as well in the unrelenting rain, but he didn't show it. He sat under the tree, figuring his suit was ruined by now, anyway, and just waited for Callisto to turn back into a human. He was careful not to look at her, as he wasn't sure when she'd turn back into herself. How long people like him would remain in their animal form was hard to determine. It seemed to vary. For all Ulysses knew, she'd turn back any second.

Yew felt the heavy jacket land over her. It protected from most of the direct rain, but it was so yet that it almost didn't make a difference in temperature. Still, she felt that at least someone was there to help. Suddenly, she started feeling different. It was probably time she reverted to her original form. She stood up, still under the jacket, and dragged it along to where she knew was the other side of the tree. Soon after, she reverted back to normal.

She couldn't speak much at first, for the wound in her neck was still there, and the rain was chilling her to the bone. Coughing, she tried to laugh off the matter to herself.

"Ain't that actor a cheery murderer! Ha ha!" She struggled to say, her voice trembling. She hugged Ulysses' jacket to cover her naked body. "Oh well. Thanks for coming after me, by the way. I guess I would end up freezing to death before I got home. You took the whole 'turn-into-a-fox' thing well, though... maybe too well." She added, not really accusing him, but rather finding the fact funny, which she did, to some extent.

"There's nothing funny about this," Ulysses said. "You are certainly welcome. I couldn't stay with him after what he'd done." He gritted his teeth, then slowly smiled. "As for why I took the fox thing so well, well, that's because I'm like you." He started shifting into an eagle, but stopped himself. No way did he want to tear through his suit just to prove his point. He cleared his throat. "So, what do you want to do now?"

Yew was somewhat surprised to hear that he was like him. She had never seen someone else in the same condition as her. She didn't know whether that made her happy or wary of him, so she just laughed. "You? Really? That's a one-in-a-lifetime coincidence! Wow!" Despite Ulysses words about it not being funny, Yew kept smiling. "And c'mon, if you don't laugh at life, it laughs at you, so you don't need to be stuck-up grimacing on the corner. Why so serious, I ask?"

After she felt she had smiled enough, she cleared her throat and began, in a more normal tone: "I'm not sure. I guess I should go home, you know? Thing is, I'm not in the most proper attire for a good walking... pfff..." She laughed at herself. She couldn't talk seriously to save her life. "But I think it's possible... no sane person would keep their windows open in this weather, so I might still get there without losing much dignity... pfff..." She put her hand in her mouth, as to stop herself from laughing even more.

"I understand your disposition, however...I can't necessarily burst out laughing in the middle of the prosecution's opening statement, can I?" Ulysses asked, a playful smile crossing his lips. He could see it now.
"The prosecution believes this client is guilty!" Franziska would shout. Ulysses would burst out laughing, and her eyes would narrow. "What's so funny, Ulysses Porter?"
"He's not...pffft...guilty. I was laughing because...pffft...you suck!" he would respond. Franziska would whip him until he passed out. Cringing, Ulysses let his imagination run out.
"I will escort you to your home, if you want me to," he added. "A lady should not be alone this time of night, even if there is a storm."

Yew was very amused by Ulysses' remark about laughing on the prosecution's opening statement, because she HAD been in a case where it actually worked, and threw the prosecutor in confusion. However, she just smiled, and said nothing. After Ulysses offered to escort her, though, she tried to stop smiling in order to answer.

"My, that's gallant of you. Oh well, I suppose it can't hurt to have someone else. Though Cece will be thunderstruck to see me entering the house, barely dressed, and with a man coming along... pffffff..." She wondered how the scene would play out. Cece was very unlike her, in the terms of humor. But then again, that is what would make the scene just hilarious. "Thanks. We should be going, then." Callisto said, putting on the jacket properly. It didn't cover her whole body, but the more important parts were protected from view. She beckoned Ulysses to come along, and started walking to the direction of her house.

"Huh. Never occurred to me that you live with someone else, or what impression they'd have," Ulysses said. "Of course, you arriving alone naked with my jacket wouldn't leave the best impression either." He chuckled to himself. Maybe he should laugh more, and maybe he should try to talk more, too, while he was at it. Following after Callisto, he smiled. "You're welcome. Let it not be said that I am not a gentleman." He chuckled once more, then walked brisker to keep up with her. It would be interesting to see where she lived, although he'd only be dropping her off, right?

((And how would any of our characters know where Anthony's house is? Do you expect them to just pop up in there randomly and say "hi"? None of them even really KNOW either of your charries...Maybe it would be better if you had them start an interaction, or at least leave the house first. I mean, I know there's a storm, but maybe they need to run an errand anyway? Or one of them wants to dance in the rain? Or maybe they just open the door because an animal is seeking shelter? Be creative. Let your characters make the first step in interacting with ours. It seems kind of ridiculous to expect ours to randomly visit Anthony's house, when none of them know him that well, you know? *Should put all of this in the OOC thread*))

The streets were mostly desert, so they walked on with no trouble other than the intense rain on their shoulders and the occasional thunder, which, Yew imagined, maybe scare Kimi out of her wits. "Right, I'll say you're a gentleman, though it surprises me that I see you talkative here, when in the courtroom you're really quiet." She said, smiling to him, though more in a laughable manner than a happy one. "And look, your hair is still spiky despite this whole rain! Your gel must be really... pfffff..."

She looked away to stop laughing, and only returned when she was ready to respond to his first remark. "And about leaving with someone else, I suppose I wasn't clear enough. I lived with my sister, Cece Yew, until recently. Sometimes, I still think of her as being home everyday, waiting for me. But that's not the case. She's dead. I think you heard of the KG-8 incident?" She asked, concern or sadness not showing clearly in her voice. Sure, losing Cece had been pretty bad, but a death was a death, and she had a mission to accomplish over what resulted from that trial, so she was forced to get over it soon.

Anthony and Megan both wakes up as they both yawned. "What a nap." They both said as they were fully clothed and went outside as the storm has cleared out.

"Finally the storm is done. Let's head back to the dojo." Anthony said as he grabbed Megan and put her on his back giving her a Piggyback ride.

Ulysses smiled shyly when Callisto pointed out how talkative he was being.
"I just don't like to say things unless it's necessary," he said. Then, she pointed out how his hair was still spiky, so he patted the top of his head and chuckled, but didn't respond to that. And then she clarified about Cece, which made him stop dead in his tracks. He didn't know which was more shocking: the fact that her sister was dead or how little emotion was in Callisto's voice when she said it. He shook slightly, taking a deep breath. That had to have been horrible. Of course, if he said that, he'd only be stating the obvious.

"Bits and pieces of the KG-8 incident," he responded as soon as he had gathered himself up enough to speak. He looked to the sky. "Looks like the storm has subsided." He started walking again, his pace even brisker than before. He was a defense attorney. He defended people accusing of killing on a constant basis. So, then, why did hearing about Callisto's sister's death strike him so hard?

Yew shook her arms while walking. She was so wet, it wouldn't really make any difference, but at least she had the prospect of being dry again soon. They were getting to her home now. Ulysses had stopped for a while on his track, but caught up soon enough, so Yew didn't bother to stop and wait for him. "Ah, yes, the storm finally lets up." She commented when Ulysses pointed this out. Then, taking a deep breath, she decided to address the incident.

"Cece was an employee of the Amano Group. She had been a witness of some malpractice, or rather, shady dealings by the group. She told me of a smuggling ring, which involved people of the group. Apparently, she also had evidence of such deals, but as expected from big outlaw groups, she was killed for knowing too much..." Calisto wondered whether she should convey more sadness to the story than she was actually showing, but since he had acted almost indifferently before, she decided not to. As a result, she spoke about the whole incident as if it had been simply a moment of bad luck in her life. Before she could continue further, they had arrived by the door of her home.

It wasn't really a house, but a building. She lived in an apartment. There was no visible scout, but a camera hovered a meter over both of them, attached to the wall right over the door, which would lead to the building. Once Yew had come into sight, the door opened. She turned around. "Now, must I invite you inside and offer you some tea, gentleman?" She asked, laughing a bit at her own sentence.

There she was, explaining the death of her sister with little emotion. How could she do that? Ulysses wasn't sure if it was a sign of strength, or if she told it like that simply because she didn't have enough time to grieve properly. As soon as she finished explaining, they were at her home. Well, at the apartment complex that contained it, at least. Ulysses had imagined Callisto living in a house, but the apartment wasn't disappointing...he just hoped it would be more tidy than his.

"I'm sorry that happened," he finally said.

"Now, must I invite you inside and offer you some tea, gentleman?"
Ulysses chuckled.

"You must not do anything, gentlewoman. There is nothing in this world you must do besides what you want to," he responded with a smile. "However, if you insist on offering me tea, it would be impolite to refuse, would it not?" He was hoping his speaking all properly would make Callisto laugh harder.

"Ha ha ha! Pffft... sure. I guess you're not as prosaic as I thought at first!" Yew said, in the midst of laughing. She was glad he hadn't said much about Cece's death after she explained everything: most people thought she should be heartbroken at it, and commented on it with other uninteresting situations in the hope of showing some sympathy, and wishing Calisto would answer in kind. However, once she laughed off the deaths of their loved ones, they left her alone.

"Ah, what the hell, do come in! I guess I owe you so much, huh? I don't think I have male clothes to which you could change, though, but you can either dry yourself or try one of Cece's dresses... Pfffft... mfffffpt!" She contained her laughter as she entered, and made her usual way to her apartment, looking back once to see if Ulysses was following, and to see his reaction.
