Viola sat patiently at the black obsidian desk she bought after solving a case over ten months ago tapping her gloved finger on the surface. Nobody but her was allowed to touch this shiny jet-black desk but her, even if the other person had gloves on. She hadn't had a case for a while. She sighed and thought to herself. "Any minute now..." she thought.

Her associate Tom Peepins sat at the opposite side of the office. He looked over at Viola. "When are we gonna get another case, Viola?" He asked. "Surely somebody must have been misappropriated against in recent memory."

"As a wise man once said, 'Patience can be a tough razor to swallow.'" Viola said. "I'm sure our next case is just one three-blade system away."

Her green eyes drifted casually around the office admiring the changes it has seen over the past months. The office was now completely furnished with comfortable chairs and a couch for clients. Pictures of Viola picking locks and making arrests (all deemed "citizen's arrest") hung on the walls. A blown-up newspaper article of Viola speaking at the Detective's Association Gala hung on the wall as well. The headline read, "Mediocre Speech Fails to Catch Interest". And above Viola's desk, a severed hand on a plaque hung with the phrase "I stole." beneath the hand in large letters. Viola found this hilarious.

"Yup.. any minute now..." She said again.

Lesly Pride looked at the building "Hmmm...Allegro detective agency,looks like a good place to start." she said to herself.

Lesly was a ,fresh from detective school, detective. She hoped o find a place to work and today she did.

Lesly knocked on the door and entered.
" Hello? I'm a detective and I would like to work here.....Is that okay?" She asked nervously to the woman and man that were inside.

King was fuming. Pah. Kicked off the force for shooting those mob scum instead of arresting em. He stormed out of the Station flinging his badge in the face of the chief detective. He'd heard bout this place from a friend on the force. Dropping his half-smoked ciggarette on the ground, he stamped it out, and walked into the reception.

Mike practically slammed the door open and started half-shouted "Ladies and gentlemen... Miiiike Summ" but he stopped himself when he saw the woman who looked pretty sad. He walked up to the black desk and leaned against it.
