Derek sutures the lacerations up. Bythos emerges from inside. He proceeds to laser it, diffusing the core. Carefully, he picks the core and drags it to the tray. The shell regenerates and he does the same thing

"Valkyrie assembled a special squad to go out and infect people. I know the members well because when Valkyrie forced me to work for them, I had to hand out all the GUILT. It was depressing. Extremely so," Freya sighed. "I know Jupiter the best. She's the one willing to use any tactics to shut down hospitals and medical organizations, be it infecting all the doctors with GUILT or bombing the hospital, she'll do it. She's been infecting us doctors."

"Ragnarok, the end of the world. For the patient, that is. That is the core virus, a virus so powerful that every test subject was dead within minutes. The only person to survive Ragnarok would be Dr Skylar, and we STILL don't know why. Her body isn't too different to other people's. The only differences are how quickly she grows, and the regularity of her period," Freya said. "So... Back down at Valkyrie, we were always trying to figure out WHY, WHY was she surviving? We never actually figured it out. And here we are, still having no idea why."

Freya's phone rang and she picked up.

"Freya here. Hmm? What? SHE'S WHAT NOW?! Got it!" Freya hung up then turned to Derek. "We've got a pregnancy! The woman's in labour and was just rushed in here. I'm gonna need your help."

Freya then ran into a room.
