Also the "no posting twice in a row" rule was originally brought in to limit the damage people could do. Then when people worked together it basically bypassed that rule which led to the introduction of the "one post-an-hour" rule. Posting once per hour fulfils the spirit of the original rules.

I might have thrown my hat in that way yeah...

The trouble with protagonists is they are all largely quite normal and middle of the road. I may like Apollo and Nick but they would never be allowed to be quirky or eccentric. They were always the "straight man" to their zany sidekicks.

Ray isn't bound by those rules and for that he has my vote.

I'd say it does. If you were the last person who posted after say, three hours and that rule was still in effect, then you still wouldn't be allowed to post. So we'll stick with just the "one post per hour" rule instead of waiting for someone else to post before you.

Let's just bring this to an end then.

Deal 3 to Kazuma

Spoiler: A decidedly Wright pre-death scene (BASICALLY KINDA SPOILS 6-3 TOO)
Phoenix pulled once more at the heavy manacles binding his wrists.

“Hnnngh! Gah….still no use.”

He collapsed against the wall in the dark Khura’in dungeon. He’d gone and done it now. One case lost and now his life was forfeit. All because of some stupid law. Phoenix closed his eyes and felt despair settle in. By now it was likely Maya was already dead, though he had no sense of time, the Khura’in authorities probably wouldn’t want her left alive long considering what he’d let her be convicted of.

“Maya…I’m sorry…”

“THAT’S ENOUGH!”

A familiar female voice rang through the dismal cell snapping Phoenix’s attention to the door. Beyond the bars stood the petite figure of Rayfa, a piteous look on her face.

“I will not hear such pathetic drivel Barbed Head!” she said sharply. Her features softened slightly as her tone changed almost immediately "You should feel happy for your friend. Her foul mitamah will be purged in the many torments that await her and she will eventually fly free to the twilight realm.” She uttered softly closing her eyes in silent prayer for the guilty.

He could take it no longer.

“J-JUST SHUT UP!” Nick lunged at her. His chains rattled against the wall and Rayfa jumped back in surprise as Phoenix desperately tried to claw his way to her. “I’M SO SICK OF YOUR RIDICULOUS LAWS! THIS BACKWARDS LEGAL SYSTEM! IT’S ALL NONSENSE!” Phoenix collapsed back onto the ground his strength spent. “Lawyers…they aren’t the monsters you think they are…they can be good people…they can…be the only light left to their clients…when everyone else has turned their back on them…a good lawyer will save them…” he panted, exhausted. It was all Phoenix could do to glare up at Rayfa.

She glared right back at Phoenix with her usual petulant look, her hands shaking in fury.

“W-W-Well you couldn’t save your friend…she was executed at dawn! What kind of Lawyer does that make YOU?!” she spat in fury through the bars.

Phoenix’s heart fell as he felt the last glimmer of hope and anger fade. For once in his life he was utterly speechless. His head fell to his knees and his tears fell freely onto the shabby remains of his suit.

Satisfied, and with a victorious “Hmph!”, Rayfa spun on the spot and left Phoenix to his sorrows, her trailing pink ribbon disappearing round the corner out of sight. “It’s time,” she informed the guard standing there. “Send this pitiable creature on his way to the Twilight Realm.” She commanded him before storming out of the prison.

The guard nodded slowly to himself and opened a grimy metal cabinet on the wall. Taking a tool out of it, he solemnly headed towards the cell. “It’s time to prepare for your execution.” He informed the weeping prisoner. With a sharp flick of his wrist, he readied the tongue shears.

Phoenix Wright – Bad End

Based off an alternate ending for case 3 where they just arrest you and don't let you investigate another day.
