In what seemed like no time at all, Xero had already whirled around and pointed at Michael. "I believe you should think before speaking, Mr. Gray! After all, you could end up eating those words... like right now!"

He then put down his arm, and slammed the desk in front of him. "Your Honor! The defense believes that the scope is of utmost importance! Without it, I doubt the victim could have been shot from a distance! Furthermore... the scope was found near the gun, and it came from the very organization that Mr. Charteux was against... G.A.T.O. Corp.!"

He then pointed outward once again. "I'm sure that if more investigation were to go into this scope, we would find the truth behind its meaning! The defense believes that G.A.T.O. Corporation has a deeper relevance to this case than has already been shown!"

"Good work, Xero. I knew it'd come to you." Alex smirked, nodding. "It's your first case...wouldn't be as important if I helped you along the whole way." He then looked towards the judge. "I hate to say I told you so, Your Honor," he said sardonically, "but I told you so. The scope has relevance."

"..." The Judge remained silent for what felt like hours.

"Very well. The defense has made it's point, and proven that the scope, if not at least of some importance to the case, is tied in with the group that Cymric himself was searching out. This on it's own would require more investigation. I dictate that, for now, the scope stays in the records."

"Prosecutor, I want you to subpoena as many witnesses as you can for tomorrow's proceedings. Meanwhile, I will request that the good detective search the apartment and surrounding area over for anything that could be of aid in determining this case."

"If there are no further objections, then I would like to suspend the proceedings until tomorrow.
"Court is adjourned."
