Jase Harvey sat in the Defense Lobby, waiting for his attorney, Phoenix Wright, to show up. He was so nervous, he was almost sick. He stared at the clock for a minute, then got bored and stared at the bailiff. Then, he got bored with that. Where was his attorney? Ooh, shiny object! He stared at the floor for a second. He wished he brought his guitar with him...

"Mmm, nice." What was with this guy's obsession with shiny objects? And where was Nolland? Not that it mattered. Phoenix, who usually believed in his client's innocence, had already given up. After Maya died, nothing had been the same.
This case was so confusing. No order whatsoever, it seemed. And what was with his client's blood on the bullet?

As to the answer to the guilt-related question, truthfully, the answer was no--it was very hard for Phoenix to actually believe one of his clients was guilty (his mind flashed back to a certain incident round JFA time). So, this is what Phoenix said. Not that he actually, eh, expected a credible answer.

A strange man then skipped up towards Phoenix. "Why ha-loooo there!" Vic shouted right into Phoenix's ear. "Here, have my card!" he then said giddily as he stuck a small card into Phoenix's hands.

After that, Vic waltzed over to Jase and Aegis. "You mister are in BIIIIIGG trouble! You murdered that man and I saw it with my very own two eyes!" he said as he pointed right at Jase's face. "There's no way you're getting away with this, NO WAY!". He then turned to see Aegis. Vic then said "Hi! here have my card!" as he threw a couple hundred at him. "OH! but don't give them to him," he whispered as he pointed to Jase yet again, "He's the BADGUY."

Vic then skipped back to the other side of the room to take a seat on the couch. Once he sat down he started to sort his cards.

"The victim, Mr. Zarek, was a lead guitarist in a rock n roll band. The defendant, Mr. Harvey, was a bassist in the band. It was their premiere concert. That night, Mr. Harvey came into Mr. Zarek's trailer and killed him. We had elite investigators from Greece study the crime scene. I would like to call up Mr. Ashton Jeeves." said Marik.

A man in a white tux come to the stand.

"Name and occupation." said Marik.

"My name is Maj. Det. Ashton Martin Jeeves.....Im a homicide detective out of Athens.", said Ashton.

"Can you describe why do you think Jase did it through your invesstigation." said Marik.

:testimony:

The crime scene was in fact quite brutal.

We got some help for this investigation due to the vagueness of clues.

The most decivsive clue was this cloth.

It probably was from the killer due to the costume we found in a nearby trash can.

The costume matches the one worn on stage by Jase Harvey.

"Yes and a collectable poster to prove the costume is Jase's" said Ashton.

"Oh. Right..." Phoenix said, reading back over the autopsy report. "So, would you happen to have any floor plans? Knowing the layout of the room would probably be pretty helpful for both sides." It wasn't the approach Phoenix usually took, but he wanted to try being slightly different for some reason. His strategy was to gather as much evidence as possible. Then find any mistakes of said evidence. And go from there.

"As you see when the assailant entered the crime to find the victim and a witness. You see the assailant comes at the victim with a knife but the victim grabs hold of the knife and disarms the assailiant. For safety the witness hides in the closet. The victim is flung into a chair and is burned by acid. THe victim makes a break for it but ends up being shot 4 times in the limbs. He then grabs the victim and chokes a severs his throat by the closet to show the victim. He grabs the witness and throws him out of the trailer. THen the assailiant leaves his knife and gun behind. Weve identified the gun as the victim's and the knife as the defendant's." he said.

"Knowing the costume and knife belongs to Jase proves he is the murderer." he said.

There was something suspicious about the whole reconstruction of the murder. "So, the murderer knew the witness was hiding in the closet?" Wait a second...Why isn't the judge saying anything? Usually he's all, "Oh, that's right. Well, then I see no reason to further prolong this trial" or something like that. I guess I can't complain...

And the acid.....Special Effects mamager or Aegis Flames reported that he was attacked when counting storage of acid for a neon light. After the attack, he recounted and saw one barrel of acid was stolen. But thats not all, Aegis reported that he was attacked by a man in Ian Zarek's costume....we did so researching and found out Ian and Jase wear the same size of clothes."

"Well Mr. Jeeves, thank you for the info......Judge I think everything proves Jase Harvey brutally murdered IAN ZAREK!!!

"Yes Mr. Serbor....I see no reason to further prolong this trial!" said the Judge.
