In my opinion, I think the legacy is what matters the most. Mia's legacy was one of most important things Phoenix valued. So in a way, the spirits are still alive, but within the minds of others.

That's great, but entirely out of the scope of the discussion. We're not talking about legacy or living on in someone's heart, or what have you

Okay,maybe the whole 'Maya will be channeled anyway' argument is a bit nonchalant,but the main crux of my argument is that while Maya may die,an innocent women will go free and she'll die knowing that Phoenix got the right verdict in the end,just as she wanted.
