it seems to me that the dislike of her father that turned her to crime in the first place may have been caused by more than a lack of support on his part. I picked up signs of Neglect or down right abuse. It doesn't excuse what she did but it adds a tragic aspect to her character. She be came a cold blooded killer because she never had the chance to become anything else.

With Ayame's willingness to help Chinami out with stealing the gem or whatever it was, maybe they both had that side to their personality and their surroundings just naturally brought them to where they were. Or maybe Ayame was just really naive in general. It's been a while since I played GS3 and that was in a language I didn't understand, so I'm pretty fuzzy about what happened. Looking forward to the English release.
