I always wondered why Jean was the most vilified character in 3-3, given his competition. Is he really more creepy than the old pervert who goes to a restaurant to leer at the waitresses or the young lady who casually makes death threats and poisons peoples' coffee?
Then I remember that he's fat and unattractive and everything makes sense.

Then I remember that he's fat and unattractive and everything makes sense.
Technically, Jean is not fat. At the very least, his arms are not made of fat. That is pure muscle and strength. That, I suppose, can be a bit frightening.
And having a perverted old man is nothing new.
As for the girl who makes easy death threats, I love her, I have a creepy sense of like that way.
And I think everybody was supposed to just laugh at..... Tigre. I forgot his name.
So, given that small array of people, yeah, Jean is hated and disliked by default.

I always thought he was faux-French, oui.
