I'm pretty sure I was all "FFFFFFFF!" when Diego first came on, then was really confused as to why he was a defense attorney and so different from the Godot he was in the present. Then it sort of pieced itself together from the first case, and his relationship with Mia, and it was a big "osnap" moment. |

A lot of people have said 'I wish the game did it differently' in regards to making Diego less like Godot, as the minute you see him, the cat's pretty much out of the bag. I disagree- I'm pretty sure Godot's identity isn't supposed to be a surprise reveal at the end. It's more of a Racer X moment- the minute we see Diego Armando, we're supposed to put two and two together and be "one step ahead" of Phoenix, since Godot's true identity becomes a valuable clue to put together the incredibly complex events of the final trial. |

I remembered the name from the file in 3-1, so when I saw Diego, I realised he was Godot, but it didn't make sense that Diego was dead. With all that talk about Godot "coming out of hell to do battle with Trite" I figured that someone was channelling him, but I couldn't work out whom. In the end it didn't change much anyway, but it was still rather strange. |

Yeah, sadly my friend who was on the second game at the time went on the character page and ruined THE ENTIRE PLOT for me!!!! So no reaction there... I think it was revenge for when I spoiled the sixth Harry potter book for her. Heh heh heh.... |

Wow. Just wow. -- I was spoiled. And pissed off. It was a video of youtube ((because I hadn't the game here)) when he came as Diego Armando, and I thought: Okay, okay. A really good-looking man.. ((Heh, sorry. But he is really hot, isn't he?)) .... Oh crap. My little cousin played T&T's and I looked to his DS. Cousin: *played* Me: *saw Godot* Ow, a brother of him? Cousin: .. What are you talking about? Don't you ever played the game? Me: No, why? Cousin: Ah.. Shall I say you a thing? This man is Diego Armando or possibly Godot. But he was in an coma. My sister was playing T&T on the Wii. (which was the first Ace Attorney game both of us came in contact with, btw.) So, she finished Recipe for Turnabout, started the next Episode and... ...Huh we are back to playing as Mia? Now, that's weird. We kept watching, and suddenly... Diego appeared. My reaction? "SIS! GODOT'S WEARING RED!" My Sis: "Thank you, Captain Obvious!" Me: "But what's he doing with Mia Fey?!" My Sis: "Uhm... hitting on her?" Me: "Oh, come on, there's no---*looks at screen* OMG, YOU'RE RIGHT, HE'S HITTING ON HER! O-O You think they're... I mean, were... a couple?" My Sis: *Sigh* "Sit down. Watch. We'll figure out soon enough." Me: "O...K..." So, in a nutshell: Yeah, we saw it right away. It was painfully obvious. |

First time i saw Diego i nearly dropped my DS and was like   NO CAPCOM! YOU DID NOT JUST DO THAT!i had to take a second look and i remember feeling so upset that now i knew his past. I was one of the people who wanted to wait until the very end to find out, but it was nice to see why godot did what he did in the final case. |

I spoiled myself..... When I brought my DS to school, I got this friend who's addict to AA and likes Godot (he's a guy....) he plays 3-4 and sees Armando and says he looks familiar. I thought he'll realize the similarities. He said the guy in red flirting with Mia was Engarde...  I as all like :       O_o Dude, that's  !!!

I sort of knew before getting to that Case, but if you don't realize it when Diego appears, then... yeah. They aren't trying very hard to hide it. When I first met Diego, I immediately knew it was Godot. I had actually forgotten the name of Mia's boyfriend from the first case, but the resemblence to Godot was obvious. Earlier on, when I first met Godot and I heard that he was "back from hell," had a grudge against Phoenix, and had experience as an attorney even though no one had seen "Godot" in a case before, I thought it was Manfred Von Karma back from the dead. |

Since T&T was the first Ace Attorney game I ever played, I didn't think of von Karma at all. Nope. Didn't even know who that was. So when I found out the Feys could channel the dead and I remembered Godot saying something about coming back from hell, I started wondering who the hell channeled Mia's boyfriend. And then had to put down my DS for a few weeks due to an unprecedented workload, courtesy of AP Art... Seriously, that was the only class that gave me weekend homework last year xD At any rate, it was long enough for me to forget about that and be entirely surprised when I saw Diego for the first time. And wondered again who the hell channeled him as Godot. I didn't question the mask or pseudonym; if he was dead, then it would be awkward for him to stand in court as himself. Thus, it threw me for a loop to learn he was actually alive and using his own damaged body

I was spoiled before playing the game. Or rather, I ah... Figured it out. As an excuse I can say that I hadnt seen mmany pictures of Godot back then. Or maybe not, but anyway, I looked at a big picture of all characters, I noticed Diego and thought he looked hideous. Despite having excactly the same hairstyle and clothes except in different colours, I referred to him as... well, the exact term is hard to translate to English, but "Godot who theres something wrong with". Or a b—version of Godot, if you like. Then i checked the charac yers page for t&t here, and I decided to see who "that guy" was. When I read that Diego Armando drank a lot of coffee, the penny finally dropped. |

I remember some odd fragments from before I played the game. Something about me asking my sibling to tell me more about Godot for reasons unkno... no, curiosity, probably. I know I had seen a picture on my sibling's computer when I visited them, some fanart with Godot seeing Diego in a mirror, and I asked why there was an "inverted Godot" in the mirror. They didn't answer, though, until I asked about Godot (and possibly the "inverted" one?) when we were out lunching some weeks later. I really hope that I would realize that Diego was Godot when I first met him if I hadn't deliberately spoiled myself, but I can be so damn gullible at times so who the hell knows. |

Knowing Godot's background didn't really affect the game in my opinion. The final case was just as captivating, and no matter how much you pieced together ahead of time, watching Godot slowly turn and then finally breaking down was just as moving. As for the original discussion I realized it when Godot was shaken by seeing the channeled Mia (before I actually met younger Diego). |
