Failed? Oh, quite the opposite, you did very well for a character with barely any reference outside of one trailer. A trailer that doesn't show her quite so clearly, at that.

It's so amazing that you made a smilie out of a character we have only seen for a few seconds in the trailer and a good part of face is covered. That's not failing, that's so freaking amazing that I can't think of word to out amazing.

IIRC, the main reason we don't have more smilies like this is because they mostly clash with the way the other front-facing smilies look, or something like that.


Still, nice job. And yes, a little desk might be good, though it seems fine the way it is now.

On the first one, you may want to make his hand shaking a little more obvious. Either stretching out the distance he shakes by a bit, or making the hand size itself bigger to make the shake more noticable might be good ideas.


The second one seems fine as it is to me.

The Yogi smiley looks much better now. Not much more I can think of to improve either one of them, so great job.


The Wellington one is nice, but the way the gold/ywllow hair is colored is off. I'm not quite sure how, though. Compare it to his sprite sheet, you may spot a difference.

I noticed 2 little problems with the Wellington Smilie. The hair that flips isn't the right color cause right now it's a Sliverish White when It should be more Yellow Golden. And second, It's a litttle to fast when you compare to the animation in the game. I hope you advice will help.

Hmmmmmm...yeah, I agree, the issues are with the speed and the hair color. The hair color is an easy fix, but the speed might not be accurate. I'll slow it down a bit.

Two versions for you to pick over.

One version maintains a constant speed: Image

The other version follows a similar format to the original, but is slowed down a bit: Image

Which do you prefer? Also, any other suggestions for improvement?
