by the way,
i've spotted a spelling mistake....
In Doburoku Ese's character profile, under the subsection "Friends and Family" it says Makot's father...
Shouldn't it be 'Makoto's father'??
thanks...

More GS4 sprite stuffs/errors/etc. Possibly spoilers here.

Spoiler: Kirihito (sry)
Half of Kirihito's safe sprite page sprites have no attorney badge.

The Kirihito on the main GS4 sprite page has no attorney badge.

Kirihito shaking his head alternates between having a badge and not having a badge.

Spoiler: Tsunekatsu
I'm quite sure that his talking animation (with hidden eyes) should only have one talking frame (the teeth bearing frame, not the wide-mouthed frame). I'm so sure because I remember thinking it odd that he only had 1 frame for talking.

Spoiler: Minuki
Her normal sprite isn't in the her sprites page, nor on the safe sprite page.

Her shock animation has a few bits missing.

Spoiler: Odoroki
His head shake animation is missing some of his hair.

Spoiler: Kyouya
I'm not entirely sure about this one, but most of Young Kyouya's sprites seem to be missing most of the right hand side. Same with his older-self's sweat animation.

Spoiler: Masaka
I'm quite sure that the bottom of Masaka's sprites were in Deufeufeu's rips, albeit separate from the other frames. Could help towards a more complete rip.

That's all I've noticed.

I hate you Kirihito. Yanni-faint

Some of the Kyouya ones are missing the right side because they were missing in Deufeufeu's rips. And some of Masaka's have lower body extensions, but not all of them for some reason.

I've got the page open now, I'll see if I can fix the rest.

EDIT: Tsunekatsu has the extra frame in Deufeufeu's rips, so I kept it in. I'm still on case 2 so when he shows back up I'll see if there's a shot of his missing elbow.

I'm not sure what part of Odoroki's hair is missing. Looks all right to me. Yanni Yogi

It's just the very tip of his hair, before actually shaking his head. It's not exactly crucial to the sprite or anything. Easily overlooked.

Looks awesome! Dr? Hotti

Only possible addition would, IMO, be to have the daily sprite above the poll, and have it be random instead of daily.

I thought about that, but a random generator would run the risk of spoilers, unless I hand-separated all 600 sprites into Spoiler and Non Spoiler folders, which would be a pain for updating.

Maybe it's just me, but when on the index page/looking at subforums... I can only see who made the last post, not in what thread. IT IS VERY DISCONCERTING.

Big problem (probably a slight over-reaction) with the smileys.

um, the "Edgeworth Thinks" smiley has the same tag ("think") as the Phoenix "Chin rub" smiley, and as a result, if you press either the phoenix or edgeworth one you get the phoenix one.

Maybe change Phoenix's to :chin-rub: or something.

Also, there are getting too many new un-added smileys to keep track of. I think an update is needed soon.

EDIT: 31/05/2007: i noticed in Doburoku Ese's character profile it says he is "Makot's father". Isn't it Makoto. A petit spelling error I know, but perfection is key.

Franziska is missing the animation where she grabs herself in shock.
I think it's the only pre-GS4 animation missing.

The last three pics (Dahlia, Mia & Payne) in the first section of the official art page link to broken picture boxes. Also, Kyouya pages are missing from the GS4 Official Guide Book section.

Turnabout Inheritor is not the best title for case 4-4, IMHO; it might be better as Turnabout Heir. "Inheritor" means "one who inherits"; "inherit" means "to be the heir to", so an inheritor is one who becomes the heir to something, making the word itself internally redundant. Of course, "Turnabout Inheritor" rolls off the tongue much more easily, so it may be the more aesthetically pleasing title.

My reasoning for choosign Inheritor over Heir is that to me, it implies better that the passing down of Phoenix's legacy is already taking place / has taken place. When someone is an heir, that means they will inherit something eventually. But Odoroki has already accepted his "inheritance". In that sense, I thought it was more fitting.

And it sounds a little more impressive. :odoroki:

Speaking of GS4 and titles...
http://www.court-records.net/chara4-1.htm
This page says "Turnabout Trump Characters" at the top, though the Case Description page for the same chapter is called "Turnabout Aces."

Not a big deal, but it's there.

Aces is the actual titles. Croik changed it when it was pointed out that Trump isn't a poker term.

Yes, I've read about that. The problem is that the name at the top of the character page still says "Trump."

What is the point of Locking a subject, because then nobody can reply to it which leaves no logical reason to have a subject or reply. Can somebody explain this?

Because a topic is causing a certain amount of trouble or is easily answered by lookin at the FAQ or Googling it. That's the point.

When topics are deleted, most people's first reaction is that they vanished somehow, or maybe that they didn't exist in the first place. By locking troublesome topics the discussion is ended, without generating any extra confusion about where it went.

I think it's common practice on most forums...?

Just delete threads, especially insipid ones, usually results in the person thinking 'derp I guess it didn't post' and then they do it again.

Locking prevents, for the most part, that from happening again.

Also it's fun to screw with you.

I actually don't remember the kamen mask symbol either. DX

But, you're right, looking at it and comparing it to the evidence. It's just shrunk so much that it's hard to tell.

Well, that mystery has been solved.
