 Looking for a place to watch the AA anime that isn't Crunchyroll? Steam's got you covered - the entire season is now available there. At time of writing, it's even on sale for 50 cents an episode or $8.16 for the entire season. Note that the videos are still streams, not file downloads. |

Sheesh,and all this time I thought that Steam was just a place to get games online. I was wrong. It's also Hulu- I mean cable |

I use steam but had no idea they also streamed anime there. And of course I had to find out thanks to the anime with a name where not seeing the word "anime" in the thread title made me insanely hyped just to be let down. |

Steam has had various movies and other video productions (especially indies) for streaming for a while now, but anime is new due to the anime sale happening right now. |

Only streams? Kinda a letdown imo but I guess it won't be a problem for the regular Steam users that are also in to anime. With that said, I too know stuff like documentaries and such you can get from Steam, so it should be interesting how well this will hold, especially if they're competing with Crunchyroll. |

It actually appears that Crunchyroll did get those titles on Steam; note the Presented by Crunchyroll banner on the sale page. |

If these had been downloads and with no sign of the funimation dub yet I may have been tempted to buy them but as it's stream only whilst I still have my Crunchyroll account active there doesn't seem much point to doing this. And if you can put up with adverts surely it'd be streamable on Crunchyroll's free service now anyway? I also can't watch streamed Steam stuff via my PS3. I can see people who bought the SteamBox maybe going for streaming stuff like this though... |
