Anyway, back on topic. Like I said earlier, I think and anime would be awesome. I wonder how long it would take to get picked up here (North America)? As long as the company that gets it takes time to find good voice actors and the translation is faithful to to the source material, it could be very good.

On the other hand, if its anything like the bad dubs of the dark ages (think Dragonball Z by Funimation, Sailormoon by DiC, there are many others) then they'll probably end up splicing half the episodes together because they'll end up cutting most of the decent material out of them. That and pasting articles of clothing on all the characters they deem to be scantily clad.

The Dead come back to life just to hear this. A Blind man suddenly is able to see because of this news. Same thing happens to a deaf man. The mute was special as he started to yell in joy as he heard this news.... ..................My ninjas worked? Pardon me...I have to pay 10 millon dollars to my ninjas who were constantly planting the idea of a PW Anime............ Now if it is an anime I will die from an overload of Joy....Of course when I get to Purgatory I will be watching it no matter what mediums or priests try to do to me..... I'd love it to be an anime too! That would be great, in some ways I want it in Japanese but I'm used to the English names. All we know is its not a game right?

Plus there's ALWAYS fan dubs that get put out just as fast as the show gets aired in Japan (then again the one I'm following right now, Kyou Kara Maou season 3, is about a month behind in dubs), and those are usually pretty decently done. Of course, once they're released in the US you have to buy them anyway. Watching it on the computer monitor and watching it on my big ass HDTV are two very different things.

As much as I would love an anime, I'm going to be lame and root for a live action series. The Japanese live action series would later be remade into an American live action series. To avoid cheesiness, it would be a dramedy that doesn't take itself too seriously in the first place: it would be the "Scrubs" of lawyer dramas. Plus, there would be the obligatory musical episode. ...Yeah, I can dream. XD

I actually never saw that movie. Perhaps I should rent it. Basically, I was arguing that "Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney" could be Comedy Central's "Law and Order". It could be epic, if done right. I believe that it could be pulled off.

I agree with Godot-fangirl! An anime would be better done then a Live Action, expecially because, for my tastes, japanese actors aren't that good in Live actions.. :( I totally hope for an animetion! There are the Phoenix, Maya, Judge, Wendy Oldbag and Edgeworth's voice actors already choose in Japan!
