Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 will be released for the Xbox 360 and PS3 November 17, 2011 worldwide and for the Playstation Vita on December 17, 2011 in Japan. US and EU dates for the Vita version have yet to be announced.

I'm finding it funny how angry some people are over this. I just hope he get's some better lipsyncing done (pre-release trailers of the original MvC3 trailers had the same issue with unfinished lip syncs/hyper angles)

Ehh lipsynching in a fighting game is a bit too ambiguous since you have the option to switch languages so that doesn't really bother me. He's definitely a point character so I'm curious to see how I'll make a team for him. Maybe Phoenix/Shuma/Dormy for "GTFO" assists.
Now that I actually have a fight stick I need to get a lot better at this game, might actually play ranked achievements. (Well those damned achievements force me to)

Court Record submission sound effect, Missile, random items (fire extinguisher?), and music change-up... amazing.I love his Level 3 Hyper Combo. The opponent goes into a stance just like the murderer's breakdown in the AA games. Very nice work there.

I was probably one of the only ones that thought Phoenix shouldn't be in this game. But after seeing those videos... I humbly except the fact that I was... wrreerrong... *ahem* wrong. His move set fit with his character and he has some pretty awesome Hyper Combo's. Way to prove me wrong Capcom... (jerks!)

You may want to use someone else like Haggar, since Akuma's tatsu is getting nerfed (as far as I'm aware).
I usually throw the logic out the window and pick who I like playing as the most. So it'll be Wright/V.Joe/Dante for me.
Also, it ain't easy, but good luck with getting used to an arcade stick! I personally prefer my regular joypad, but the majority of "pro" gamers use sticks for a reason after all.

Just like the rest he DOES have his own fighting style, this Evidence system seems interesting and seems like it effects his Level 3 hugely.

Actually people have been saying his voice actor is Sam Riegel, the guy who voiced Donatello in the 2003 TMNT series. Micheal Sinterniklaas voiced Leonardo in the same series, though. Personally I'm just going to wait until I see the game credits to be 100% sure.

I'm definitely getting this game now!
It seems that he has 3 different "stages". The magnifying glass is for "investigations", the attorney's badge for "court" (I guess), and the pointing finger for when he "corners" someone.
At first I didn't really like the voice... but now hearing it clearly, I think it suits him well. It's wimpy yet epic when it needs to be!
(They just need to fix his "Take This!" when it clearly says...
)

Phoenix looks about how I imagined him - the 'inventory' system he uses sounds neat. The theme is great too. I won't be buying this, but I'm happy with how Capcom have handeled him.

EDIT: I watched a live stream where it showed Nick's second costume. It's basically a red version of his suit... Maya also gets a palette change with him. I believe she wore black robes with a yellow stash... I also belive MISSILE got a palette change as well. He was gray I think...

But I still hate them for canceling Megaman Legends 3, and for not putting Megaman/X, their own damn mascot, into Marvel Vs Capcom 3! And also for the previous Marvel Vs Capcom 3(no Versus mode against CPU, minimum amount of characters, no spectator mode, and low DLC. And now they have all that shit in UMvC3?! (not sure about Vs Mode against CPU.))! That just suck, and unintentionally screwed up. At least for me. Also for those other unspeakable stuffs... (RE:M3D save slot, pay to play demos.)

I'm not going to insult you for giving out a negative opinion on the game. I am, however, going to insult you for playing the pity card. Seriously dude, the Megaman situation bites, I'm a huge MM fan too, but if you're leaning on it to try and seem victimized then you really aren't helping anybody here. I'm not even going to get into the issue of damning Capcom for UMvC3 and then buying Off the Record.

People have been giving Capcom an insane degree of unnecessary criticism. RE:M3D wasn't the first game to not have deletable saves on the DS or 3DS by far, nor were they the first to make pay to play demos, have DRM (which they fixed, other companies didn't). They also communicate with their fans incredibly well through Capcom-Unity, something no other company their size does (only the indie ones really). Capcom pretty much has the unfortunate pleasure of being targeted by the media, and being more open about their business processes than most companies (see: GK2).
And honestly, nobody really thinks that Mega Man is a more interesting than Zero in a gameplay sense, and that's what the decision was based around. And he hasn't really been the Capcom mascot for years now, it's the Resident Evil characters.

Excuse me for being butthurt, but I'm just not even gonna think about buying that game. I'd still buy the Phoenix Wright games, but that's just it. For Dead Rising, the last Capcom game is gonna be Off the Record. Forgotten about Resident Evil and other capcom games.
Sure none of you guys wouldn't care about my opinion and would just go buy the game anyways, but still, I'm only saying, in my opinion, that I'd rather not spend money on UMvC3. Even if it does have Phoenix Wright.

But I still hate them for canceling Megaman Legends 3, and for not putting Megaman/X, their own damn mascot, into Marvel Vs Capcom 3! And also for the previous Marvel Vs Capcom 3(no Versus mode against CPU, minimum amount of characters, no spectator mode, and low DLC. And now they have all that shit in UMvC3?! (not sure about Vs Mode against CPU.))! That just suck, and unintentionally screwed up. At least for me. Also for those other unspeakable stuffs... (RE:M3D save slot, pay to play demos.)

I feel sorry for Megaman I do and sure Capcom's done some silly things but there's lots of whisperings and whatnot about Megaman maybe being DLC or something and The Mercenaries 3D is an excellent fun game what's more some places accept trade-backs and it has no plot so it's not like your losing anything by not being able to start it again.
Also do you think there's multiple victory poses now?
In Phoenix's trailer he's scratching his head nervously while Maya rains confetti on him like at the end of a trial.
Though in Edgeworth's colours down there his pose is kinda different.

theres only one win pose for each character. the result screen usually have them doing something different which is just an image still.
edit: also i forgot to mention that maya also has her clothes changed on different wright colours. one of them makes her look like mia fey clothes

Everyone's victory pose changes for the still image at the end of the match, so sadly no, there'll be only the one victory "animation" and "pose" for all characters. They'll just look a little different from each other in comparison to MvC3, which froze the end of the winning animation as an image before the written dialogue showed up.
EDIT: Whoops, sorry MrKhubbo, you kinda beat me on that one, lol.

You should look at Wesker then. One of his stills has him normally with his glasses on, another shows him with one of his lens broken, and the last shows him with no glasses. I don't know why or how they change.
Anyway, the evidence feature is much more awesome than I thought! All the evidence are objects that the other character's have. You need the right ones to be able to do his lvl 3 super on them. If you find meat, you can heal Phoenix.
