You know, I debated front paging this story, but since Croik was able to when she made a little excursion to Captivate 08, I figure why not!

By noon tomorrow, I'll have started my trip to the Electronic Entertainment Expo. Yeah. You heard that right. Court-Records has a pair of tickets to E3. Now, unfortunately, the TSA doesn't approve of the storage of Croik as a carryon in the over head compartment, EVEN IF folded in an anatomically incorrect 22" x 14" x 9" shape. Which is the regulation size for a carryon! So instead my traveling companion cohort in crime (and fellow all things CiNG fan) will be L~A.

Or at least, that's what I'd like to say happened. In reality, L~A's representing Puissance Nintendo at E3, and it's easier to get around Los Angeles if you've got someone who's ≥ 25, has a US driver's license, and can edit video. It just so happens that Wooster is indeed 25, has a US driver's license, and can edit video. So really, I'm piggybacking his excursion. So its all about L~A in L. A. (I couldn't resist!)

Anyways, I can't promise we'll be the first to break any Ace Attorney related news since there are a ton of fellow reporters more organized then us, and frankly the only things I expect to possibly see would be Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney, which we've had some hints may be happening as soon as E3, but could just as easily not.

I'll be forwarding anything I find of paramount interest to our resident ace news hound Bolt Storm, but he'll be pursuing a job at Microsoft at that time, so he might not be able to do his traditionally great vicarious reporting. So if someone's willing to be a plan B for me, that'd be appreciated.

So while I'm gone Croik's totally in charge. But since she's currently in an anatomically incorrect 22" x 14" x 9" shape from our attempt to get a 2 for 1 flight that means she might have trouble operating a keyboard. So Gerk has the helm. But I don't think I've seen him recently, or the majority of team moderator for that matter. But I'm not too worried. Should I be worried?

I'll provide a full report with pictures when I return. Try not to convert Court-Records into a crater with the Disco-ball while I'm out!

Have a good trip, Woost. I'll try to stay on top of things, but I'll be limited to sneaking a glance at my smartphone when I have a minute or two, so no guarantees.

Looking for the latest AA5 trailers or the PLvsAA OST?

I will be away until May 22nd, and then with limited internet until the 27th.

No need to worry, Wooster. I do still keep tabs on this place, and would be glad to look over it every once in a while. Enjoy E3, and do feel like the place is in safe hands, heheh. :godot:

Whoa Blademaster! Wasn't expecting to hear from you so soon! Since the last time you've posted, we've added a ban hammer to deal with spammers. I think you'll like that little weapon. Other then that things have been almost painfully quiet here.

To be fair, the silence is rather to be expected when it's been more than two years since the last English release in the series.

And to be fair, my incompetence/irresponsibility causing the site/forums to be in disrepair for almost a year didn't help us keep the status quo. =/

But I imagine once Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney shows up, and it will, Level-5 knows a cash cow when it sees it, we're going to have more visitors then we know what to do with.

Aww man you guys are on the way to E3? That's amazing stuff! Didn't know L~A worked for a French nintendo magazine either but it's cool. Will be keeping an eye out for updates will you be posting them here?

Also ya think if EXTREMELY lucky you might get a shot at a demo of PLvsAA

Capcom's already admitted that there won't be any playable demos for Nintendo's systems if I remember correctly. And since Level-5 is a no show, that means I wont have any hands on reports for that game. But there's a chance of a trailer, and I can try asking questions to who ever happens to be there.

Disappointing but it'll still be exciting and hopefully a localisation will be announced there.

Oooooh, have fun at E3! The most we'll probably get is the announcement of the localization of PWvPL, but... Who knows, we might get a surprise.
(C'mon, some news on GS5! Just let us know that it's for the 3DS!)

Spoiler:
Oooooh, Wooster is leaving, Bolt Storm is busy with job searching, and the rest of the mod staff isn't that active? In the Ace Attorney Online Chatroom, I've added the tag "Not-Quite-Supreme Overlord of CR" to my name, but maybe I can get rid of that "Not Quite" :taser:

Not job-searching, smart guy, job doing; Monday's my first day. Now knock off the coup attempts or I'll have Bill Gates send one of his robo-assassins after you. :kyouya:

Ive been on court records for a very long time, registered a few times and never stayed active but it has been my best source for Ace attorney news, whether it goes down again or not im always going to be staying around, even if im not participating in the forums.

Not expecting much if any PL VS AA news at E3, but it'd be cool to see any surprises aside from the expected announcement of Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask on Nintendo's behalf.

CAN'T WAIT!

Have fun at E3, Wooster! I'll be looking forward for ANY news regarding PLvsAA, big or small. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that they'll be released and localized late 2012 or early 2013 (I'm hoping that they'll get localized at all).

It is pretty obvious what he means, we are not to accelerate the disco ball into the site, since that would deform the site into a shape resembling a crater.
Currently working on a trial engine in Flash. I am looking for assistance.

Wooster used the word "pursuing". I thought he meant you have an interview or something xP
But you got a job at Microsoft? Gratz bro!!

Spoiler:
Send the robo-assassin after Wooster! If anyone asks, we'll just say he's still in E3. Then the two of us can rule Court Records with an iron fist!
...or perhaps steel or titanium or something, depending on what the robot assassin is made of

Update folks! L~A and myself have arrived in Los Angeles, and just finished breakfast at the hotel in Pasadena. Can't say I've observed much other then that midnight traffic here is about as busy as daylight traffic in Hartford.
