and you can see that your Assistant is in charge of that new mechanic, however, its still not clear, now it seems to look like as if its telling you the WITNESS'S emotions instead of choosing what yours should be.

You can see this is upgraded from Layton vs Ace Attorney.

The music is awesome, and they really did a good job on the graphics.
Did anyone notice it says the assistant is 18? (another young attorney

It says "Cocoro system AI" on Kokone's bio screen, just above what kinda looks like her pendant. Anyone know what the specialty and occupation fields on that screen say?
Also, the glove seems to be a device for manipulating the holographic interface that seems to come from her necklace. But at least we know that shes an attorney, confirmed at the very least, from the badge also showing up on her bio screen and on her lapel.

I would say it's Kay but that silhouette looks very... male, or maybe it's because we don't know exactly what they're wearing, or hell it could be her in disguise. Though I'd hate to see a complete personality change in her just like there was with Ema in AJ.
Also, this line... "the dark age of law has come...I'll bring a turnabout" Is it just me? Or does this sound like a parallel to this, "Even in the depths of night....one alone soars to shine the light of righteousness on the world's blight!" Again could be my inner fanboy hoping for this, so who knows.
The only thing that may go against this Yatagarasu theory is the color of the feather, which typically is pictured black, from a Crow/Raven. This looks like an eagles feather or something, So in that respect I don't think this has to do with the Yatagarasu but some sort of contrast of it. Hope I'm wrong but. god... I'm so psyched for this.

I am not really sure I like that age for a different reason, though. The first triology made is clear that laywers getting their badge before hitting 20 is a rarity. Now, we suddenly have underage lawyers strolling all about for no other reason that they are young and hip. Apollo was supposed to be special for being 22, you know! I hope Kokone better has a GOOD excuse for being such a whiz-kid...
I love the Heartscope so far. She can feel emotions? OK, if that's NOT connected to AJ, then they were clearly AVOIDING all connections. That's like having a shaman and going out of your way to say "No relation to the Feys whatsoever!"
Music, Graphics and all seems beautiful I have absolutely no objections!!
I find it interesting that we've only been shown a shihouette of the Prosecutor, rather than his face. That's unusual, the AJ trailer showed Klavier's face, if just for a second. If they don't want to show us the guy's face, there's a chance we know him, though I doubt it's Edgeworth, as someone previously suggested... His hair's curly. Edgey's is straight.
The "Prosecutor Justice" theory is still valid, by the way. Apollo usually gels his hair (So we don't know what it looks like when he doesn't and if Trucy's hair having a tendency to curl is any indication, his might have too) and the shihouette suspiciouslly cuts off at the top where the spikes would be for Apollo...
...Because I felt the need to advertise my fanfic with a self-drawn, animated banner. Yes, I'm obsessed, why do you ask?

I think it's yet another family. They can just be 'inspired' by Perceive then made a similar mechanic without connecting it to the 'powers' of Apollo and Trucy. Bad for world continuity, 'better' for gameplay.

I don't see that they'd be showing a feather if it was, unless there's some connection I don't get. I think they'd HINT if Apollo was the prosecutor, with a clue some people pick up on, because it would be another Exciting Sales Point. The 'shock' and all.
The 'prosecutor' feather guy is the one saying the dark time had come but he'll bring a turnabout? In that case he really sounds like he's trying to fight for 'good' (but will probably have a beef against Phoenix.)
Do feathers have some symbolism in JP I don't know about? They look a bit like they're wearing Kay's scarf but anyone can wear a scarf. They also look like a man. (Unless it's someone like this.) They could be wearing the OTHER moon earing (but wouldn't be if they're a man.)

Also, I hope there are absolutely NO references to GK2. I loved picking up on all the references to other Ace Attorney games but I'd get nothing if they referenced GK2. Is there still that fan translation in the works? I haven't heard anything for ages.
I noticed in the trailer, Phoenix sees the new assisstant's info on a holographic screen, much like the AA movie. Perhaps some inspiration was taken there? I like to think so.
And of course the new prosecutor, even though it's the silhouette, is making me think of Klavier. Kinda flamboyant but also manly. The prosecutor could be female, like I was hoping, but is most likely male... It could be Kay, but lots of people where scarves...

Looking at this screenshot, there might be animated cutscenes in the game by the same animation studio for PLVSAA's cutscenes.

Okay, when you look at that animation it's quite similar.
But watch the new trailer again:
It looks like you can see his skull under his skin and it just doesn't really look like Payne in 3D.
(Yes it's his brother but apart from his hair they look identical)
