It seems Nintendo Europe are toying with us... For people who registered Layton and the Miracle Mask, they have sent out a survey about the game and systems, and they have managed to sneak "
Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney" into some of the answer slots, where all other answers are very recent games.
Note: There was another question about what other games do you own, which Ace Attorney was listed as well, but i was answering on my phone at the time so i couldn't get a shot of it.
Fun times!

Nintendo surveys, while not guarantees for the future, are a good indication that Nintendo is aware of, and gauging pre-sale interest in various topics. After all, that's the point of taking a survey in the first place. The elephant in the room of course is Nintendo's testing of Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney without actually saying it, since the last Ace Attorney game in the west was Ace Attorney Investigations back in early 2010. Not exactly contemporary material.
I'm not conscious of these surveys leaking Nintendo's plans in the past. The closest is
downloadable demos for the 3DS before it reached the public, but post announcement. So wether these surveys are created with inside knowledge or simply public conjecture is anyone's guess.
And a FYI,
Level-5's had a similar poll in the past. That poll had games lifted right from
The Level-5 World event, which again, helps Level-5 decide which games they can soon localize have the public's interest and wallet.
