I find it unlikely. Capcom is sure to do it within a few months anyway.

Or, I could manage up an English script in a few hours. It's only ~10 minutes of gameplay.

10-minute KOs probably won't make it into the actual game, which is kinda disappointing. It would set a new record for the Returned Turnabout.

I sooo can't wait for the English version of this demo, I really can't.

Oh, and I'm really loving that new Objection theme, especially since is based off of my favourite of the original trilogy.

And then my worst fears came true... I played the demo, and liked it not.
Except for the Mood Matrix, that was just lovely.

Two complaints:
1) All the animations in the demo were way too hurried for my taste.
2) The music just didn't get through to me, unlike in all the previous AA games, which scream pure oldskool badassery of sound. If there's anything I'd like to pin the blame on, it's the orchestration. Mixing all those realistic, not-really-Nintendo-native instruments in the soundtrack... just puts me off almost seriously.

I truly miss that authentic DS vibe...

Episode 1
Turnabout Countdown

???: Hehehehe...
This bomb will destroy everything... Nothing will be left...

If I make it look like that girl did this...!

December 18, 9:22 am
District Courthouse
Defendant Lobby No. 5

Phoenix: (Whew... this nervous feeling... it's kinda nostalgic.)
(But it's not a problem with a lack of experience, though.)

???: Mr. Wright!
How are you? You've been quiet for a while.

Phoenix: Huh? R-really?
I-I've just read up this case.
(Ugh... not good. My mouth's already chattering...)
(It's like I'm a rookie all over again.)

Phoenix: My name is Phoenix Wright.
I'm the 'Chief' of my defense law firm.
But just a while ago, I took a break from law.
(This is Athena Cykes.)
(She's a new attorney working at my office.)

Athena: I may still be a greenhorn, but it's nice to meet you!
My favorite things are orange juice after a good workout and triumphant victories!

Phoenix: She's really high-spirited, but her recklessness can get her into trouble sometimes.

Athena: But you know? You're something else, Mr. Wright. Pre-trial Image Training!
That's the Wright-way victory formula!

Phoenix: Uh, yeah. Sort of.
(She doesn't seem to be nervous at all. Compared to me, at least.)

Juniper: Mr. Wright, Athena... I'm... leaving today to you two.

Phoenix: (This is Juniper Woods.)
(Our client in this case.)
(She's also a childhood friend of Athena's.)

Athena: Relax, Juniper!
Mr. Wright will definitely get you that not-guilty you deserve!

???: Mr. Wright. Take this from me.

Phoenix: A-Apollo! (He should be in the hospital...)
(His name is Apollo Justice.)
(A junior attorney at my office.)
Are you okay with that injury?

Apollo: I-I'm fine! Ow.

Phoenix: (You don't look fine at all...)

Apollo: I couldn't get to sleep, being the victim of this case.

Phoenix: (A bomb went off during your trial, after all.)

Apollo: I really do want to stand in court...

Athena: Mr. Justice! No problem!
Those guys that suspect Juniper are just pushovers to Mr. Wright!

Phoenix: Eh? Ah, right! O-of course.
(Ugh. I really need to work on this...)

Athena: Ah! It looks like it's about time.

Phoenix: Athena, are you ready? (I'm really not.)

Athena: Yep! I'm always ready to fight!

Apollo: I can't do much but cheer from the gallery...
You better win this!

Athena: Let's do this! To victory!

Phoenix: Then let's go... to court!

December 18, 9:46 am
District Courthouse
Courtroom No. 5

Trial Day 1
Open Session

Judge: Court is now in session for the trial of Juniper Woods.

Phoenix: The defense is ready, Your Honor.

Payne: The prosecution is ready, Your Honor.

Phoenix: (...Whew. I'm getting more nervous standing at this bench.)

Judge: It has been quite a while. ...Attorney Wright.

Phoenix: Y-yes, Your Honor! I've been on a long leave!

Judge: Here you are, standing at the defense bench once more...
I look forward to seeing how the grown-up 'New Phoenix Wright' will do today.

Phoenix: W-well, what you're looking at is the result of plenty of gathered experience.
(Though I've been drawing a blank...)

Athena: Hehehe. There's nothing that'll faze him anymore!

Payne: Heeheehee. It's like watching Taro Urashima returning from his long absence.

Athena: Wha! How dare you! Y-you apologize right now!
You'll be KO'ed by the new Wright in 10 minutes!

Phoenix: (She went and said it... but that's too ridiculous!)

Judge: Hm. It would help to reach a quick verdict.
There is a time limit to the 'demo version', after all.

...Very well, Mr. Payne. Your opening statement, please.

Payne: The incident took place in Courtroom No. 4 of this very courthouse.
During the trial, a time bomb that was presented as evidence suddenly

detonated.
Here is the data on the bomb and the investigation's case report on the incident.

Plush Doll Bomb
Time bomb that destroyed a courtroom. Stuffed inside a doll when it detonated.

Bombing Incident Case Report
Explosion's center was near the defense's bench. Due to an early evacuation, there were no deaths.

Phoenix: (To check the evidence in detail, I click the 'Court Record' button.)

Judge: That doll with the ferocious face is a bomb?

Payne: Yes, Your Honor. The bomb was stuffed deep enough that the cord and timer could not be seen.

Judge: And the switch to the bomb was found on the defendant...?

Payne: Heehee. As how the defense seeks a 10-minute not-guilty verdict...
the prosecution seeks conviction through decisive evidence.

Judge: What is this...? Is it a little burnt?

Payne: This is the tail from the doll that held the bomb.
It goes by the frivolous name of 'Crazy Elly'...

Athena: H-hey! How could you say that!

Payne: This doll's tail is covered in vinyl.
And... the defendant's fingerprints were on it.

Phoenix: (W-whaaat!?)

Payne: There is no other explanation other than the defendant had touched the bomb!

Judge: Hm. This is indeed unwavering evidence.
The court accepts it into the record.

Crazy Elly's Tail
A part of the doll that held the bomb. Has the defendant's fingerprints on it.

Payne: Heeheehee. It seems this trial will be over in 10 minutes.
Of course... it will be with a guilty verdict!

Athena: W-w-what do we do, Chief!

Phoenix: What do we...?
You said it'll end in 10 minutes...!

Athena: Huh!? W-why is it my fault!

Judge: With the defense's unsightly discussion added to the record, let's continue.
...Mr. Payne. Please call your first witness.

???: .........

Payne: Witness, your name and occupation.

Barashima: Name -> Shingo Barashima
Occupation -> Riot Squad Bomb Disposal

Judge: What? Is that the voice of a machine?

Barashima: 'Keyboard Input' = 'Synthetic Voice'. It is the same as if I speak.

Judge: Hm. ...What a troublesome witness.

Payne: As he was to dispose of the bomb, he was present at the scene of the crime when the explosion took place.
First, please testify about the circumstances around the moment of the explosion.

Begin Testimony
~ Time of the Bombing ~

Barashima: I personally deactivated that bomb and brought it to court as evidence.
Name of bomb = HH-3000 Remote-controlled & Timed (Dual-compatibility)
I saw it from the gallery and was quite shocked.
I saw the bomb's timer had already begun countdown.

Judge: Hm. HH-3000... it is this bomb, isn't it?
Well, it's stuffed inside this doll, so you can't see it.

Phoenix: Did you make sure that the bomb's switch was deactivated?

Barashima: That is correct. HH-3000's time switch is simple to activate.
Anyone would know, even a monkey. Of course, that means the defendant as well...

Judge: Very well, Mr. Wright. Your cross-examination please.

Phoenix: ('Cross-examination'...! Right. This is where the real trial begins...!)

Athena: Wow! Oh, goodie! Mr. Wright's showing his true self!
Show us that 'man who strikes fear into hearts'!

Phoenix: Sure... Leave it to me! (The classic 'cross-examination'...)
(D-do I need an explanation about it from Athena?)

[I picked the 'don't need it option']

(I shouldn't ask my student how to do the cross-examination...)
(It's fine! I remember it well anyway!)
Then, let's begin the cross-examination!

Begin Cross-examination
~ Time of the Bombing ~

Hold it!
Phoenix: Are you sure that it was deactivated...?

Barashima: Absolutely. I deactivated by my own hands.
In an instant like this!

Phoenix: No! Deactivating goes beyond just taking it apart.

Barashima: Ah, excuse me.

Payne: Heeheehee. Attorney Wright, given the proper materials...
you can be sure that an expert would know if a bomb has been deactivated.

Phoenix: (Figures, he wouldn't forget to deactivate something like that...)
Could you tell us more details about that bomb?

Barashima: Understood.

Hold it!
Phoenix: What were its size and weight?

Barashima: Volume -> W23xD25xH24 Weight -> 5.4kg

Athena: ...Before you can take a step, you have to lift it up.
[TN: It's a saying suggesting that before every step, there are necessary things to do first.]

Phoenix: I have to lift it even without taking a step. ...The bomb somehow disappeared.

Judge: And so, where did you see... that bomb?

Hold it!
Phoenix: Why from the gallery?

Barashima: During the trial, we were on standby to keep watch in the slightest chance that something were to occur.
Though deactivated, the 'bomb' is still volatile.
[TN: He literally spelled out the kanji with 'fire' and 'burst'.]
It remains a dangerous object in any case.

Judge: Hm, such splendid dedication! Certainly a good role model to follow.
...And so, how was it when you saw it from the gallery?

Hold it!
Phoenix: Are you really sure you saw the countdown?
I don't think you could see the bomb's small timer from there.

Barashima: These goggles allow me to see small objects from far away.
I could clearly make out your face earlier.

Phoenix: (That's kinda creepy.)

Athena: Hmm. It's funny that he could see the timer.

Phoenix: I think so too. It's been bothering me a bit...

Athena: Huh? You were bothered...?

Phoenix: (The bomb was completely stuffed in that doll...)
(You can't see anything but the doll itself...!)

Athena: Look for those contradictions between the testimony and evidence!

Phoenix: I know. First, let's listen to the testimony again.
And then, we can make our counterargument with the relevant evidence.

Athena: Press 'Present' to open the Court Record and check the evidence!
Once you find the contradiction with the testimony, press 'present' again!
Umm. In this testimony, that time when the bomb exploded...
the conditions around that 'bomb-stuffed doll' are important to note!

Phoenix: (The bomb was inside the doll, so it couldn't be seen...)

Court Record

Attorney's Badge
It's my precious badge, and proof of my profession.

[Choose the doll]

Objection!
Phoenix: Is it true... that you saw the bomb count down?

Barashima: Of course. The timer was surely approaching zero bit-by-bit!

Phoenix: Mr. Barashima... you're lying!

Barashima: W-what are you saying?

Phoenix: There's no way you could have seen the timer.
Since, the bomb was stuffed inside this doll.

Barashima: !

Phoenix: Mr. Barashima! How did you know it was going to explode?
You couldn't see the timer, after all!

Barashima: Urgh... well...

Athena: N-nice one, Mr. Wright!
You found the contradiction just like that!

Phoenix: Well, kind of. (Nailed it!)
(Okay! I've just about settled down. Here I go!)

Judge: Very impressive, Mr. Wright! Truly the return of the 'man who strikes fear into hearts'!
At that moment, I remembered it well. The day when a legend was made...
The times when you would rampage through the courts with your probing bluffs.

Phoenix: ...You make me sound like a terrible person that way.

Judge: Witness! What do you have to say to this contradiction?

Barashima: Uh, uh, um... well...
Ah! T-that, that's it! I just remembered.
...The sound! I knew it by the sound.
Once the bomb is activated by the switch, its timer produces a sound.
'bee-bee-bee-beep'. The sound of the countdown.

Judge: I see. In that case, even if it was inside the doll, you could tell.

Barashima: I was slightly mistaken. My apologies...

Phoenix: N-no! (This isn't good...)

Payne: And now, let us move directly to the next witness.

Judge: Very well. Defendant, please take the stand.

Juniper: ..........
I... don't remember much about the time of the bombing...
Maybe... it's the shock from the explosion.

Payne: Hah! Enough with the innocent act!

Athena: Mr. Wright... can I give that prosecutor a beating?

Phoenix: W-wait! That's not right!

Athena: I heard a shriek from Juniper's heart.
She's just so scared...

Phoenix: (Her 'special hearing' lets her hear it.)
(The voice of Juniper's heart...)
[TN: In this case, it's more of a 'voice' than just a heartbeat.]

Payne: Now, please testify about the time of the explosion.

Begin Testimony
~ Time of the Explosion ~

Juniper: At that time, I... *cough* was watching the trial... *cough-cough*
The bomb exploded... *cough*
*cough*... The rubble... fell on me... *cough-cough*

Athena: Poor Juniper, she's feeling terrible. Having to remember that trauma...
She can't even come up with the right words...!

Phoenix: (What now...? Oh, wait...!)
(If she can't talk, we'll have to listen to her heart...)
(I'll need to borrow her 'power'.)
(Athena has a special ability.)
(Her 'special hearing' lets her understand the voices of people's hearts.)
(She can tell how someone 'feels' when they can't describe it by the tone of that voice.)
(If we use this power of hers, just maybe...!)
Athena.
Let's try listening to the testimony from Juniper's heart.
It's your psychoanalytic specialty, right?

Athena: ...! I got it. Let's try it!

Phoenix: So you can see Juniper's 'emotions' with that computer?

Athena: I can hear the voice of Juniper's heart in my ears.
I can reproduce what I understand from that testimony as an 'emotion' and 'image'.
I can then input these two things into the computer and it'll analyze the data.
Those wavering emotions in the testimony are represented by four 'emotion marks'.
Happiness and enjoyment are represented by the [green] 'Happiness' mark...
Anger and frustration are represented by the [red] 'Anger' mark...
Sadness and fear are represented by the [blue] 'Grief' mark...
Surprise and confusion are represented by the [yellow] 'Shock' mark.

Phoenix: With the help of your ability and that computer,
I can also understand the testimony through the emotions Juniper has.
...Is that right?

Athena: Yep!

Phoenix: (Okay! Let's listen to Juniper's heart's testimony!)

[Same testimony as before]

Athena: I've found the emotions from Juniper's testimony.

Phoenix: (So this is her power...)

Athena: And, there's an unnatural emotion that contradicts the testimony!

Phoenix: Huh? You already found it!

Athena: Look! At the time when the rubble is falling, there's a feeling of 'happiness'!

Phoenix: Ah! That is odd.

Athena: There's got to be some reason behind this conflicting emotion!
When you find an 'unnatural emotion'...
click the 'identify' button...
and then point out the unnatural emotion from among the 'emotion marks'!

[Follow the blinking lights]

Right here!

Phoenix: Ms. Woods!
When the rubble was falling, why did you feel 'happy'?

Juniper: Eh...! *cough*

Phoenix: Take your time. Did you remember something?

Juniper: Uh... yes. Um, just before I could escape from the courtroom...
The rubble fell on me...! I thought I was going to die.
Ah! T-that's right! But... at that time...
Mr. Justice came and rescued me...!

Phoenix: (So that's how Apollo got his injury...)
It looks like she was able to remember.

Athena: I'll input the new info and 'update' it,
and then we can listen to her heart's testimony again!

Phoenix: When I find the unnatural emotion, I click 'identify', right?

Athena: Yep! And point out the unnatural emotion from the 'emotion marks'!
Once you know the reason for this conflicting feeling...!
We can draw out new testimony from there!

Juniper: I... was too late to escape...
Before I could run, the bomb exploded.
I fell down in shock when the rubble...
I thought I was a goner...
but Mr. Justice came and rescued me!

[Click the blue one]

Right here!
Phoenix: You were really 'glad' when he saved you, huh?

Juniper: Yes... I was really glad. It was a relief that he saved me.

Phoenix: But, why did you feel 'sad' at the same time?

Juniper: Huh?

Phoenix: You see, Ms. Woods.
When you talked about being saved, you felt just a bit of 'sadness'.

Juniper: ...Ah!
I remembered about Wronged Rhiny...

Phoenix: 'Wronged Rhiny'? (Again with that thing.)

Juniper: Yes. I...
I came to the trial with my 'Wronged Rhiny' doll.
'Wronged Rhiny' is 'Crazy Elly's brother.

Phoenix: (Is this plush doll series really that popular?)

Juniper: I was together with Wronged Rhiny when I came in...
but when I ran, I think I dropped him...
Poor Rhiny... he got caught up in the explosion.

Athena: Mr. Wright! I can't hear a conflicting feeling from Juniper's heart!
Looks like we've drawn out everything from her!

Juniper: Ah, right! Please take a look at this poster!
This little guy is Wronged Rhiny.

Phoenix: (Ah! The design of this tail...!)
(That's it...! So this is what it's about!)
Your Honor! We've just heard some very crucial testimony from the defendant!
It's about the 'Wronged Rhiny' doll!

Judge: W-what!

Phoenix: (Okay! It's been more than 10 minutes...)
(Time to give Mr. Payne the final strike!)

Judge: Very well, please present your evidence!
What evidence of this 'Wronged Rhiny' overturns the prosecution's argument?

[Present the tail]

Take that!

Phoenix: Juniper... I'm sorry you had to recall that traumatic experience.
But, it's alright now. I knew you were innocent.

Judge: Mr. Wright! What are you talking about!

Phoenix: The two plush dolls were mixed up.
The defendant's fingerprints left on this tail are from the 'Wronged Rhiny' doll...
It wasn't the 'Crazy Elly' doll that held the bomb!

Payne: Whaaaaaat!?

Athena: Woohoo! That was so awesome! A huge turnabout!

Phoenix: ...Athena, settle down. The trial isn't over yet.

Athena: Ah! T-that's right! But now, we can't lose!
Let's get those guys who suspect Juniper!

Phoenix: Right. We'll prove Juniper's innocence with our collected power!
(...in the full release version!)

I don't like the new rhino's name, so I made my own. It's kinda catchy like this. Hurray for wrongly-convicted rhinos by evil elephant judges!

Excuse me, I'm off to find out possibilities for other plush dolls in that series. It interests me too much, and the creator must be a Phoenix Wright fan.

Perhaps we can even get a Shu Takumi reference in the gallery at some point...

Barashima: Name -> Shingo Barashima

Barashima: Volume -> W23xD25xH24 Weight -> 5.4kg

Thanks man! Hopefully the real version has much more dialogue than this demo. I enjoyed it, but it was just too easy, I wonder how will they make Mood Matrix more challenging.

I guess we're back to showing off the culprit in the intro, huh? :payne:

I've never understood Japanese before, even now actually, so I can't really describe the feelings I had when I was playing through the game WITH NO WALKTHROUGH! I was actually laughing when I presented the evidence at the witness's statement. The Mood Matrix was a lot easier to follow but man! I'm just happy that I guessed the game the whole way through. :keiko: :keiko: :keiko:

Thanks for the transcript! Would have been nicer if I saw it earlier before I even played so I could have actually understood the story of the case. :payne:

While I translated the demo, I felt that some of the lines were thrown in together very roughly, as if there were extra lines that were taken out for the sake of no major spoilers in the demo. It'll all probably be explained in the full version. After all, the full version has an animated intro only shown at TGS and nowhere else so far.

But I think they were going for nostalgia with the villain-in-intro effect. It does make Barashima seem like a blatant Sahwit rip-off, though.

Thanks so much for translating the demo!
I like the references to the fact that it's the demo, that made me giggle :moe-laugh:

Also, the name of the "Wronged Rhiny" in the English one is called the "Bum Rap Rhiny" (I think "Bum rap" means to get the harsh end of a punishment, or unfair treatment, something like that, it's not a commonly used phrase in Australia, I took it literally at first XD)

So... speaking of Bum Rap Rhiny... has anyone besides me noticed how it blatantly represents Jin Yuugami? I'd wager it's already a solid hint to his overall place in the story.

Also, animals as law symbols. So many of them.

Maybe if these plushies get popular enough, we'll get one that represents the chief prosecutor (局長, kyokuchou) that looks like a songbird (曲鳥, kyokuchou <- not a commonly used phrase, but it works).

I suppose I'll have to get used to Bum Rap Rhiny. It didn't sound that great to me when I first heard it.

I don't understand why they've gone the web-demo route. The 3DS supports demos, why not just release it on the eShop?

Wasn't blaming you or anything. Heck, I didn't even know demos like those can even have full-length transcripts. :udgy: The experience was just kind of weird, in general, because I was clicking through a game I couldn't even understand yet I was progressing well throughout my whole playthrough. :gant:

My comments on the demo are actually simple: pretty good.

I actually liked the fact that transported the game to the 3DS since it made the animations smoother to look at. I even liked the times where the camera pans out across the gallery since it gives the atmosphere a lot more depth.

The Mood Matrix gets two thumbs-up from me. It's like combining :odoroki: 's bracelet and :phoenix: 's Magatama into one device. Seems to me the mini-game has a lot more to offer in the upcoming cases.

Characterization is going on a steady path, for me anyway. I had no problems with Wright, Polly and Athena. I even like :udgy: more now!

Despite its advantages, I think the game is a bit lacking on the music department. It just didn't impress that well. It didn't leave a mark, or a deep impression while I played it. I hope the rest of the game will even it out though, since GS5 is raising a lot of my standards. :will:

Why not BOTH?

Web is obvious, people are using it! Not everyone has a 3DS, people read a news story about it ONLINE etc.

I like the Pursuit theme which is important because if those are hopeless it basically ruins the game. The others are sort of mediocre. Why why why didn't we get Objection 2001 but Objection 2004? Yes I know same composer, but it's not a good one and the remake isn't too great either. The good tunes out of GS3 were (ironically enough) the Pursuit and ending, and doubt we get them remade.

I haven't been able to get onto Court-Records from my computer for days, (just been following news through my phone's network connection).

From the demo the game is looking and playing great.

I have to admit, I don't think the "Court in Session" (Main, non-testimony court song) is very memorable. It sounds like a bunch of notes pushed together. I'm not a fan of that one. I feel the same way about the Courtroom Lounge theme (again, isn't easily melodic in the way most AA music is) but it makes up for it with a great ambient feeling created by the string plucks and the "Miami Vice" style guitar. So even though I can't hum it I love that one. The "testimony" theme isn't memorable either, but it's not bad. I'm also not really crazy about the new version of the suspense song.

I LOVE the "evidence analysis" (the one that's always been kind of "electronic" in the series) and I love the heart-scope song.

I'm not sure why they chose T&T's Objection as Phoenix's Objection song, because the PW:AA Objection is his "signature", but maybe it is to help show that this is really a continuation of his character, and so they chose his T&T song because he is closer to the successful lawyer of T&T rather than the rookie from PW:AA. Either way, I really like the new version. I'm hoping this means Apollo's Objection will be the one from AJ, which I always thought was the best Objection theme.

So in conclusion, the only thing the demo really showed that was new to me was the music, and overall I like it. Certain parts feel really unmemorable, but then again, when I first heard the Pursuit theme for this game I thought it was unmemorable and mediocre and not it's in my head constantly. So maybe by the time we finish the completed game the music will be as memorable as ever.
I used to have Sam Waterston as my avatar but photobucket added a watermark and also Law & Order has been cancelled for 10 years so it's time for me to move on.

I actually agree with your point here. Though I was not satisfied that they didn't use our favorite Objection! 2001, your explanation makes perfect sense to me.

How about you, icer? :godot: Do you agree with this point?

Whatever the reasons, the biggest one would probably have to be that Iwadare is the composer for this game again. He's the same guy who composed music in T&T and was probably going for nostalgia with his 2004 version. Despite Iwadare being the directing composer for the greatest number of games in the series (T&T, AAI, GK2), I don't think his music hasn't gotten stale yet. I love the jazzy touch he adds into some pieces. (Godot's Theme strikes me as his best work thus far in these games.)

But, yeah, the prelude theme sounds like elevator music. Beware, Edgeworth. Actually, maybe because he avoids elevators so much, he doesn't get much of a chance to pay attention to that sort of music. But his office is on the 12th floor of the Prosecutor's Office. Does he really take the stairs everyday he heads to work? Or maybe as Chief Prosecutor, he installed some sort of escalator system into the building. All his hard work for the position has finally paid off!

I wasn't impressed by the newest Pursuit theme, but after listening to it over and over again, it began to grow on me. It definitely fits in with the rest of the court music, I would think.

I'm liking all the music except the main "court song" - as in not testimony or pursuit, but the one that starts up the court segment. It isn't very memorable in my opinion. But I'm hoping it will grow on me, like most AA does. Like I said, I really didn't like the new pursuit theme but now I love it. And courtroom "intro" music has never been really great with the exception of T&T anyway. (The orchestrated version of the JFA courtroom intro is great (the very first part of the JFA courtroom suite on the Gyakuten meets orchestra CD) but the actual game version is a bit boring).
I used to have Sam Waterston as my avatar but photobucket added a watermark and also Law & Order has been cancelled for 10 years so it's time for me to move on.

How about you, icer? :godot: Do you agree with this point?

Yeah well, yes it does have some 'point' as continuity from GS3, the last time he was in court.
And the composer.
But I think we all think of Objection 2001 as Phoenix's Theme, so kind of hoping for a nice new version for his comeback. (Really, you could make a mashup of all 3 themes in succession in a coherent composition...) Edgeworth got his Great Revival remake into something epic for GK/2 after all. I was kind of hoping for something similar. And I don't like the specific REMAKE of Objection 2004 much either.
There could be some weird special scene where Objection 2001 plays for nostalgia, like the original Cornered in GS3, but it seems unlikely.

Oh well, it's better than Objection 2002.

I'm assuming Apollo gets his own Objection theme. Mia didn't but that was waaay back in prehistoric GBA times. If he doesn't it's another reason for no Objection 2001, but surely they aren't that cheap with musics.
