Basically a Defense Attorney cover (Wright Anything Agency version), Law Enforcement cover (Rivals version), and rivals VS. cover (Protagonists vs. Rivals version)

Edit: As noted, all three will be included in the Limited Edition, while the Figure and Extended editions will contain one at random.

I personally still like the "normal" one the best, since I like the shade of blue and I feel they should always have the "most important" characters on the cover. Althought that sometimes doesn't work out (like JFA where Maya was left out and even GS5 where Edgeworth is left out despite it looking like he is as important as in JFA where he WAS on the cover.)

But for those who don't care for the original case this is great.

I used to have Sam Waterston as my avatar but photobucket added a watermark and also Law & Order has been cancelled for 10 years so it's time for me to move on.

It's like they're rubbing it in now: they get three different covers while we're fighting for any sort of physical release at all. :sadshoe:

In any case, I'd be hard pressed to pick between those, they all look great.

I think the official cover is still the most well-balanced one as far as characters go, but these are pretty cool. I think the "rivals" one is my favorite. Makes me wish they use more than 4 characters on the covers.

Very cool! It's worth noting though that you'll get one of them at random with either the figure or extended editions; however, the Limited Edition gets you all three.

Wonder which one I'll get (I wound up putting an order in for the Figure edition.)

Sorry, i've just noticed that on the spines of the covers, the symbol that appears on the 3DS menu, the last one shows Phoenix (as it should be, same as the demo), but i can't tell what the first two represent? They kinda look like the first case elephants...

I see them as Bum Rap Rhiny and Phony Phanty, the plushies introduced in the first case. Interesting that they'd be included on the boxart.

GS1-3 had Phoenix on the cover, not just as a silhouette, so...

He wasn't on AJ's cover since they managed to keep hobohodo a surprise, or at least they did for people browsing the store.

Why not show the main character dozens of times?
Sailor Moon already had the titular character's name as the title, but even the anime's logo sometimes had her profile silhouette on it.

Something subtle that I just noticed was that, not only are the covers reformatted, but the back covers' backgrounds do as well. For the Wright Anything cover, the background is the office; the prosecutor cover appears to have the defendant's lounge in it, although it could be a prosecutor's office I suppose; the rivals cover seems to be set in the courtroom. Not sure that it's significant at all, but it's something to note. Or it's one minor touch that isn't immediately noticeable. I kind of like it.

Does anyone have an image of the default cover and backing? It'd be interesting to compare and contrast directly.

Hi everyone, I am new here! For those who have ordered the game, I'm wondering how you went about doing so from the Japanese Capcom site. I've been wanting to buy the game from there with their cool extras, but I don't know where to begin since I have no idea what anything says! And do they even ship to the US? I wonder... Thanks for any help!

Oh, thank you! I'm a total noob when it comes to this. I do have a miltary friend stationed in Japan who could probably receive the item for me, but I suppose with shipping fees and all that, Play Asia and CD Japan might be an easier option.
