There's another scene in the same location w/her name still hidden, except she's saying Phoenix's name in a way that would suggest it is a reunion. Check the 2nd PV from about the 2:49 mark. She appears in the bottom right of the screen, then the top right (where she says Phoenix's name).

Also, remember that demo's usually differ (normally) significantly from the final product. When you played the demo for DD, they are trying to show you the ropes and the new features, and that's why
