Serialization of a brand-new Ace Attorney story titled Jikanryokosha no Gyakuten (Turnabout of the Time Traveler) will start in the March 2017 issue of Hayakawa's Mystery Magazine, so the current issue (January 2017) features a special interview with Shu Takumi and Van Madoy, the writer of the story. The two talk about how mystery fiction formed the starting point of the Ace Attorney series, about Ace Attorney growing into a media franchise, the influence of the Ace Attorney series in Madoy's books, and of course, a bit about the upcoming story (now I think about it, I think this is the first interview with Takumi since DGS2's announcement?) I was actually quite surprised to learn Takumi wrote a novel as a graduation thesis. I guess it's the same as composing something at a musical academy, but I'd expected something like a thesis on mystery fiction or something like that. |

One line implies that Madoy wrote 2-4. Might wanna fix that. Other than that,good read. I'm kinda sad that he got bullied in the mystery club,though. He laughed it off,but I feel a bit mad. Also at the end,you hinted that you know Madoy,Ash. What's this about? |

Oops, thanks for pointing the accidental Madoy out. I met him a couple of times because I was also a member of that club he mentioned in the interview a few years back. |
