Via Android Police, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies will be hitting Android phones "later this month". Capcom did not announce pricing or precise dates in their PR.

Pre-Registration is available at Capcom Mobile.

(Thanks for the tip, blahmoomoo!)

[Court-Records is looking for a copywriting manager!]

Update: The game is now available for $19.99 and includes the DLC episode and costumes.

These games and similar low-action quality games being ported gives me hopes for the alleged mobile future of gaming.
I hope a lot of non-console gamers discovers Ace Attorney this way.

Hooray!

Is the original trilogy on Android as well?

Let's hope this'll lead to SoJ coming out there as well.

After so long, I can finally get a chance to play Dual Destinies in it's entirety!

Now when's the Spirit of Justice port, Capcom?

Are there any differences from the 3DS version (apart from the properly rendered interjection bubbles), although I'll eventually get it anyway to support the series?

Have they fixed any of the typos?

i believe the typos were fixed since the release of iOS version.

anyway the game size is 726.82MB , and it seems to include all the extra content like the DLC case and costumes from the get go

Yet Switch is selling pretty well, Nintendo's stock just skyrocketed and Capcom just announced MHXX for it too. I think thus far this generation has proven that console gaming and mobile can coexist just fine, but of course it hasn't come without both Sony and Nintendo catering slightly more towards the appeal of mobile games starting before this gen with microtransactions, then Nintendo starting mobile biz, and MS/Sony going incremental-release style for their home consoles.

As long as I can have a dedicated console with face buttons and analog sticks that doesn't interfere with social, and life-important apps and drain the battery within 2 hours of heavy use I'm totally good. Gaming can be whatever as long as I get to play good games on the big screen or with a handheld in my bed.
