It's been more than ten years since Apollo made his debut on the Nintendo DS, and today his original game makes the jump to the 3DS!

Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney is now available in the Nintendo eShop in North America and at retail/digital in Japan. European AA fans will have to wait just a little longer, with a release slated for the 23rd.

With the release of AA4, that means all of the main Ace Attorney games are available on the 3DS. So what are you waiting for? Brush off those chords of steel and pick up Apollo Justice to finish your collection!

Oh cool, I must have missed that this game is only 19.99 usd instead of 29.99 usd! Probably a good move on their part considering this is one of the shortest games in the series and doesn't have any fancy 3D graphics. I'm very happy that we have the whole mainseries on the 3DS now though, this will do wonders for accessibility.

I don't get it. Who is this for? Any AA fan has this game on DS, and any newcomers may think they need to play the previous three games before playing this.

AJ was supposed to be a sort of reboot to the series originally. Heck, it doesn't even have Phoenix's name on the cover. It's a good starting game to the series imo.

That and newcomers can play the 3ds trilogy too. I don't see what issue they could have with AJ being on the 3ds.

All of the rest of the main series is available on the 3DS and mobile devices. Releasing an AJ remaster allows anybody who didn't experience it previously to be able to do so more easily now.

Such as, someone who started with DD because they jumped in to the series at that point, later played the original trilogy, but never got around to AJ because it isn't as easy to obtain a DS game as a digital 3DS game (still not hard, but...).

Or someone who also started with DD, but on a mobile device, where everything but AJ was available until now. I wouldn't expect everyone would be willing to get a DS/3DS to play one game out of a series.

So happy that Apollo Justice got a 3DS release! The cover looks awesome! That makes me wonder if the future Ace Attorney game covers are going to be more like this one instead of the split character pictures with the game's title underneath like they have been doing. AA1 had a cover style similar so did DGS 1 and 2.

Well, DD and SoJ were released digitally abroad so they technically also don't have those pictures outside Japan, though I'm not sure if they count.

Thanks! It sounds great! I love the vocal ones. The Troupe Gramarye & Pursuit remix were also great! I have no idea what was up with that last track though.

Also, I can't believe they actually kept those cheesy lyrics to Guilty Love in this one XD
