After announcing the show earlier in the year in trade magazines, Level-5 has officially revealed the title of the upcoming Layton anime! Titled "Layton Mystery Detective Agency: Kat's Puzzle-Solving Files", the anime will begin airing in spring 2018 and see Kat solving a series of mysteries around London with her assistant Ernest and dog Sherl. It's not clear if it'll be a 1-to-1 adaptation of the game or a new series. Kat herself will be voiced by Kana Hanazawa, who AA fans may know better as Susato's voice actress in the Dai Gyakuten Saiban games.
A manga adaptation will also run in Ciao magazine.
