First, over at Siliconera, they've got an interview with Colin Ferris, product marketing manager for the Ace Attorney Series. The Interview is a nice read, nothing out there or truly spoilerish; But, Colin 'did' drop a line that Capcom's looking into ways of selling the Encyclopedia.
If you remember from our celebrations when GS4 came out in April, Japan got a super AWESOME pre-order bundle.
This super bundle contained:
An Encyclopedia, which had a ton of trivia in it for the 3 GBA games and Rise from the Ashes,
A DVD, which contained Quality Trailers, (and interviews if I'm not mistaken) for Gyakuten Saiban, there's even some USA trailers in there too! If you can read Japanese, you could possibly get the list of content here.
Odoroki Headphones, Cheap Plastic things for listening to music with
And Most importantly, a Copy of Gyakuten Saiban 4.
Now, none of this is actually guaranteed to come our way, honestly we'll be lucky to just get the Encyclopedia out of that whole bundle, but that shouldn't stop us from getting our hopes up!

That is exactly why I want it. Like with the D/P Pokedex, I could bring it places with me and look up stuff whenever I feel like, and at bird club/anime club/visits with friends or family, I could show people the info about my favorite characters. :D
I'll try not to get my hopes up too much, though.

(I thought it had collectible figurines in it. The person didn't give much info on it.) From what I can see there is lots of info about different characters, all the background music, location backgrounds, and animations of all the sprites. The DVD has great commercials though! I just wish I could understand them.Is the manual from the encyclopedia scanned and on CR? If not I may be able to scan it. There was some good concept art for GS4.

*Totally not bragging* On the other hand, my inability to read much kanji has screwed me over because I'm one article away from completion and I can't find it because I can't read well enough to figure out what it is from the index. (I think it starts with "sa.") T_T Now I have to comb back through all the articles so I can unlock the final secret.What was I talking about? Oh right! The encyclopedia is cool to me, especially because of the instant access to the openings and endings. I hope they do an English version.
