That would just frustrate gamers to no end. Losing points when in their eyes they were doing it right.
Besides if the witness was frowning and nodding, perceiving the nod would likely include the frown as well given where you'd have to position the 'eye'

You also can't percieve someone whom you don't have eye contact with.
Therefore, in a throwback session, it would be impossible to percieve the Steel Samurai, Wendy Oldbag's astronaut, Shelly deKiller, or Larry in GK.

Of course, the real quirk obviously couldn't be at the head if the witness was nodding, it was just an example. And yes, it would be difficult but a new element to the perforce system which would including having to interpret whether a habit was positive or negative.

Or maybe instead of looking at the witness we should be able to switch over to the prosecutor as well, to see if they're trying to work with the witness to hide information.

During investigation, Apollo could gradually start noticing people's twitched during conversations. You could use it to tell not just when people were lying (Ie the Magatama) but also when they weren't sure about something or remembered something while they were talking. That way the Perceive command could be used to make new "Topics" appear, like the Magatama "Unlocked" some topics.
