If in the case selection for a new game, you could choose the chapter to start at too. Like say there was 1 really awesome trial but it was at the end of the case, you could skip to there if you wanted. Of cource you would have to have already beaten a chapter to unlock it though.

Interesting, and it would be cool. But I doubt it'd happen.

Capcom isn't badass enough to do it.

Actually I think that would be a good idea. If you've already beaten the case, there really isn't much reason for them to force you to go through the slower sections that you don't like. It's just another way to make the best bits of the game more easily accessible to fans.

They could definitely stand to speed up the process of the investigation phase too, particularly with moving. It gets awfully annoying having to traverse a whole bunch of places one step at a time just to go to a particular location. I'm really surprised that they didn't streamline it for AJ, as that would've been the perfect opportunity.

How would that work? They would have to have basically 2 differant trials, the script would be differant. The most I can think of that they can do without having to much differance is what they already do, ask you if you need them to brief you on how court works.

Well, the case would be the same, but things like how it happened and the story behind it will change slightly. There would be the same number of characters, and everything, but Trial 1 for the Vets would be a harder version of the Noob Trial 1.

That would be great, especially if I'm trying to find quotes or inside jokes I missed. I once played through all of
Spoiler: 2-4
just to get to the part where Edgeworth and Nick were both at Engarde's mansion, there was a funny quote I missed...It would have been far nicer just to be able to skip to the beginning of that chapter.

That's what you call a tutorial, and why you can skip those things called tutorials. >D>

You really can't play one part of the game without playing the other first. Sure, it sounds good on paper but it would ruin the "moment" and that part which totally just blew your mind. It all builds up and there's that single glorious "GOTCHA!" moment that you can relive again and again. Also, the court scenes are nice but without investigation scenes where would they be? To neglect one part would be to neglect the whole thing. It's not called an 'adventure game' for nothing.

EDIT: Y'know, on second thought...I guess it would kinda help to relive that moment. Curse my narrow mindedness! :zenny:

Let me ask you: did you skip the tutorial in JFA? Because 3 cases doesn't sound like a lot.
