With this new prosecutor game, will there not be a new GS5 with Apollo? I hope not, we barely learned about him. I dont want the Ace Attorney series to end, but I like the idea of Perfect Prosecutor(but not court cases :udgy: )

They've hinted that there is still important news to be announced at the GS concert coming up on the 20th, so hopefully GS5 is on its way :D

GK (The prosecutor game) is a spinoff, the main series is unlikly to have already ended.

4-4 was NOT a case to end AJ on. I'm hoping the writers are good enough at writing to have not used that to end the Apollo arc. Besides, AJ had too much Pheonix to be the end of Apollo.

I think they're gonna do what they did with Phoenix for Apollo.

Three games with Phoenix, three with Apollo, and if they decide to keep going, another three with someone new.

Seeing as Edgeworth gets his own game, I guess this means he won't be appearing in GS5. *runs away crying :nixiesob:*

I'm really wondering if the new gameplay mechanics will be shared, though, for investigation scenes. If GK is going well, maybe Apollo will get to run around as well in GS5?

You know, this whole thing has me wondering... since PP (AHUR HUR HUR) is supposed to take place around game three, do you think that it'll introduce characters that will be like... cameos or witnesses or random NPCs who become important in game five?

I think that'd be pretty cool, myself.

Well, that is quite the possibility. Besides featuring canon characters, they'll have to tie it into the series somehow. Their stories may somehow lead us into GS5.

As far as GS5 getting a complete makeover, because of the influence of Gyakuten Kenji, I don't think that would happen. We're so used to a certain point and click trial and investigation method that if they change it up on us, things will get complicated. It works perfectly well for the game and there's no reason to change it. What we may see, though is more of the MASON system. (I believe that was what it was called...) That was simply an addition to the specific, unchanged style of the gameplay to make things a little more interesting. Yes, there were a few contradictions within it, but hopefully Capcom will be able to clear up those inconsistencies and make it flawless this time.
