I would love that to happen. It would be the most underwhelming thing ever, which would be perfect after years of waiting.
CARDIOVORE,whatever epic final confrontation you've got (if that person is Hemlock), just scrap that and replace it with this. That would be great.
I honestly think it is an entirely new character we have yet to see.
For some of the characters known, it wouldn't make sense for them to be the culprit.
Robert Snow doesn't make sense as the culprit, because he comes off as being far too much of a lazy slacker and not having the magnetic personality that would qualify him for "Leadership" talent.
Renwick Smith obviously cannot, because he's the defendant, and also a very good friend of Brisbane. Whatever has been previously established, he's a solid ally of Brisbane till the end, and I want to believe that the only reason he snuck over to Brisbane's that evening was to warn him of the imminent threat of Hemlock getting close after Vulper getting sentenced. Speaking of....
I genuinely believe in Vulper's innocence of the whole matter.
It wouldn't make sense for Weaver to have any part in this, since she has such a genuinely real friendly relation with both Smith and Brisbane.
It makes no sense either for Maya to have been the culprit since she never met Cedric Maplethorpe, and she has no connection to any case after Grossberg's murder.
We've gone over this repeatedly, but thing is, it has to be SOMEONE who knew about the Magatama, was in a position to have sneaked inside the PD and brought poison with him to do in Docks.
This is only a speculative theory. People like to think that ghosts exist. vengeful apparitions of people contained to the hereafter who have a lingering regret.
That's quite a lie if I ever heard one. Only demons exists. And Demons can deceive. They deceive and pull you away from the Savior.
But hey, let me tell you something: I am not a suspicious guy!
